This is jus famous, nothing very speacial about this place, i gave Rs. 80 for chole bhature - which can be easily found better at Rs. 30 and with a good quantity and size.the size of bhutare was just very small here.
You can have atleast a little better than this by travelling a bit front where you can find many shops selling the same but better than Sita Ram and Son, and also at Rs. 70.
For the owner - If you are famous then try to keep the quality good.
The fault is also of tourist, they just go and have there without checking if its worth.
Zero Hospitality. They are not willing to take orders it's like you are begging for their nothing but ordinary chole kulcha you'll find anywhere in lower market within less price plus great hospitality. It was so embarrassing and shameful.
Motivated by some Stupid food vlogger we give it a try and result they treat us like beggers. Felt robbed for nothing. Do not waste your hard earned money at there.
I've been a customer last 20 years.the quality and the quantity has gotten a little low but still far far far better than anywhere else i've had chana bhatura from
Just so so good. The cook was super nice and asked what we wanted and then gave us a mixed plate to try everything. Prices are stated so you can’t get ripped off. Very busy, thus popular amongst the locals. For a good reason - the food is just amazing.
One of the oldest and most famous place of Shimla. The luchi and channa with the potatoes and chutney is very tasty. But the behavior of the staff and the owner is very rude. And if you wana go there make sure you carry cash as they don't accept any kind of digital payments ONLY CASH.
Really don't know why like this place is so hyped. Food is very average. I didn't find it worth to stop and spend here. The only good part is location.
Dont prefer having chana luchi from here…i dont know what sort of materials they use…got a sever stomach infection after having this Not recommended at all
Best chole lucchi taste. I personally am not fond of chole but couldn't stop myself here. The lucchi is soft and fresh.v Small place, seating is an issue.
Loved the chole bhature, one of the best ever had. The place is cramped with very little seating space. However the chole bhature served is mouth watering.
Almost every food joint in hill stations is overhyped, but this one takes the cake for being absolutely the most overhyped food joint i have ever visited.opens at 11: 30 am and serves the most average chole tikki and chole luchi (like a flat thin bhatura). Complete waste of time
Most awesome chole i have ever eaten.worth every penny. The taste of anaar dana and spices was so good it cant be described in words. They serve both kulcha and luchhi but trust me lucchi was mouth watering.swaad agaya zindgi ka.too good
The only downside is there is not enough seating and it opens at 10.30 and closes at 4pm.kyouki tabtak kich bachta bhi nahi hai khane ko.sold out every plate every day 10/10
Probably it's one of the best place in shimla to have chole, luchhi Or kulcha. The tradition from forefathers has been continued by the next generation and taking their majesty to the next level. One of the best places where tourists enjoys quick meals.
Loved this place. Had Channa with luchi. Flat bhature types thing. Its taste is very amazing. 70 rupees is the price. View and food. There is sitting is also available. Old Style Food outlet.
Tried luchi chola, taste was quite good. Perfect blend of sweetness and tanginess. Took tea also which was machine made thus totally depends on your taste but place is famous for its chola and its variety which was perfect.
Currently closed will open in March 2021. It seems to be an overrated kind of food joint. In Hindi as they say ऊंची दुकान फीका पकवान. Bhaturas are pre cooked not freshly prepared (very thin, would not be enough for a meal), you may get freshly prepared Bhaturas at other food joints. Tikki and Chana has very normal taste. You can't say out of the world. Could be an experience for "First Timers" sustaining because their ancestors did some good work.
Classic taste. They provide "Luchi" (not 'bhature') and Chana with tamarind "chutney" and sliced onions. "Chana" has a different taste as compared to "Sita Ram Diwan Chand" of Paharganj (Old Delhi). It is one of the most popular food joints of Shimla. Very close to Regal building on Lakkar Bazaar road. It is a "must have" when you visit Shimla.
Sitaraman son is one of the most oldest kind of the restaurant dhaba in Shimla located to the outside of the Mall Road, they sell chole kulche, yeah I would like to read the menu that place only in the entire market because everything is well expensive on the entire Road ahead of you so that restaurant should be your last location for that. Get a little bit back and you can have a good pastries yeah if you believe it to be on few famous shops of Shimla if you are really your phone Lava don't get pizza their literally sucks making pizzas but pastries are quite good at Japanese one was one of my favourite coming back to the topic sita ram and son is a place variety think you must go if you are around 1 kilometres so that everyone for reading this review I'll catch you in the next review goodbye.
Only famous for one thing i.e. Cholle bahture any time u come to Shimla u must have a visit to sita ram and sons and have their speciality.i m pretty sure that u are gonna love it.it is a must visit place.
Wow, mouth watering Chana Bhatoora of this place is a landmark of Shimla. We have been enjoying it since 50 years and still the taste is same. Good place for light lunch.
Must have chole and luchi puri if someone visit Shimla. Have been coming to this outlet since was a young kid. Taste hasn't changed and it's same old tastiest and best chole Bhature though shop location has shifted to a slightly bigger place a few meters away from where current owner's grandfather made his humble beginning when I used to visit as a kid.
