The ride was good but it's very costly when I visited there I paid ₹600/head and it'l was not worthy to go at the top because you can see snow down there in winters

Very nice experience there I was there in the month of February and snow was there so the view was there is atop of the world.

Ropeway is nice and view from top are breathtaking! On the top the place to eat is not very clean and hygenic

A must go place for every one visiting Manali.
Plenty of snow here, beautiful scenery to even just sit in the snow and breathe in the clean mountain air. Perfect spot for photos too. Cost is INR 950/person.
Although tourists littering here should not be allowed. Water bottles and food wrappers thrown around spoiling the natural beauty of mother nature. Should be strict on this.

This is a must visit place.the prices are a bit high but everything is worth it. Manali trip is deeply incomplete without this

It's one of the best tourist spot around Manali (apart from Rohtang Pass). Various adventurous sports like paragliding, ropeway, sking are provided here! The best seasons to visit this place is during April-June.

A beautiful paradise with a stunning view of the Kullu Valley and the standing tall Rohtang Pass on the left. One should definitely take a gandola ride to reach at the Top and enjoy the stunning view of beautiful Himalayas

You can reach there with cable car and there is a view point with tracking and paragliding activities. There is not much more but it's was a peaceful place with very nice weather

Cable car stopped twice. And it took them a lot of time to restart it. Please work upon your technology. 2 out of 5 experience.

The poster here incorrectly mentions 3200 meters above msl wgen it is a little less than 3000 i.e. 2950 meters. However trek a little above and you will be above 3000 meters.
That's where I spend most of my time in the woods with view of snow capped mountains in three directions.

It's awesome to see the view of solang valley, but not value for money.

Great place. Sholang valley. Nice hotel is there on the top where you can enjoy hot badam milk. Great view from the top

This is the highest point from where paragliding is done at Solang Valley. Rope way cost is 650 per head and it's included in the paragliding price of 3200 per head. Views from here are very nice. I enjoyed my first ever fly. There are two more spots with prices of 1000 and 500. Latter is only for kids and not exactly paragliding. People suggested paragliding at Kullu is better than Solang Valley. They've done it at both places and confirmed. Even better option is to do paragliding at Bir-Billing.

It's a great experience. 3200 meter height have an amazing view all over from the top.

Also you can take pictures with the traditional dress (RS. 100/- per person for such dress and photography), which as well an attraction to this place.

A must visit place connected via ropeway from soling valley. Awesome view and awesome food available at the eating points. We had maggi n tea which made our day in such a cool weather

After Reaching this Ropeway endPoint we had hot coffee then move to watch the mountains and valleys from this place, it's Amazing we can watch the far and small villages, the green mountains, the clouds, paragliding people and the breeze we experienced like any thing in this place, beautiful locations and the tall trees really awesome location to see.

The experience is good and view breathtaking. If you wanna trek go further. 650 is little too much. Rest depends on your perception.

It's a must visit place in Solang Valley where we get snow year round. At Manali and even at the foot of this mountain we might not find snow till peak winters. I have been there on Jan 1st last year, night temperatures dropped to subzero Celsius but there is no snow fall either a Manali or at Solang valley. So, i took rope way to reach the end point atop the mountain. Of course even the rope way ride will be very entertaining. There, we will find snow every where within our eyesight overshadowing the Himalayan Mountains. It fills us with immense pleasure to see such a vast terrains completely covered with snow, a sight for which we were there. However we must be careful while walking/trekking across these mountain slopes, it can be slippery at few locations with melting snow over the rocks and piled up snow can sometimes be tricky to judge what lies beneath. There will be many shops en route to Solang valley to lend us winter wear, including shoes and socks. Wear them before you reach the valley to handle the biting cold atop. There will be long traffic queues, so we might require to walk to reach the main spot where Rope way, Paragliding are available. Maggi, Tea, Coffee, Corn and other snacks are also sold beneath as well as atop the mountain.

Best place for couples photo shoot. No other fun activities. Available one of the best paragliding in Himachal I think the highest. Reasonable pricing. One restaurant is available with good quantity food.

Restaurants are ok.expensive and the food is not that appreciated by me and my fellow passengers however we had a coffee and pizza but it was bad. Also, the restaurant at the top of the ropeway does not have many options. We bought a packet of cookies and it was bad too. The quality and cleanliness of the cable car from inside was appreciable hence 3 stars
