Located just half kilometer away from Gandhi chowk, this is good place to stay at Dalhousie.

It was an amazing experience staying at snow valley. We stayed there for 3 days and the hospitality was very good, special thanks to "Mr. Vikram Singh" for taking care of our needs.
Definitely recommend it for a great stay, great service, amazing room view and even better hospitality.

Pics and reality are different.old hotel.management is not upto the mark.only money minded people you can see around.they will not stick to their own words. One can really go for a better hotel and avoid this. I don't suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to have value for money stay.

I booked this hotel 2 months prior for 2 days and paid full payment 1 day prior. But suddenly my son was ill, so I requested to cancel my booking and refund at least 1 day. But they denied. Very unprofessional behaviour I was experienced. Most of time hotel refund the amount in such cases.

We Stayed in Snow valley resorts for 3 days in Maharaja view room. The resort is located very close to local markets. Plus offers stunning spectacular views of mountains from the rooms. Service was prompt, food was tasty though a little expensive. Will surely recommend this resort to anyone traveling to Dalhousie.

It's nice experience by staying here. Good hospitality and good employees and room service. Room is very clean and neat

Not a good experience. Rooms are small in size, also not properly cleaned. Service is very bad. So I left the room within half an hour and shifted to Himdhara resort, just in front of this resort.

The hotel snow valley resort
The location of the hotel snow valley resorts is overlooking the snow-capped mountains of majestic Dhauladhar and the Pir Panjal mountain range. The hotel is set amidst soothing greenery. We stayed in the presiential room. The room is spacious. The view of the mountain is very fascinating from the inside of the room.
The rooms are centrally heated.
Other amenities like flat-screen cable TV, Tea/coffee maker, free parking, etc are there. Free Wi-Fi is provided to the guests.
The hotel is situated at a distance of approximately only 500 meters from the dalhausi market.
Room service is fine. The front desk and other supporting staff is polite and attentive.
The hotel has in house restaurant. The taste of the food from the restaurant is great and the staff at the resturant is very polite and hospitable.
Guests will surely be happy to stay in this property.

The staff is very rude at the reception and the room didn't have the basic aminities functional. The property doesn't care if you need something or not and treats its guests very shabbily. Bad experiance left the next day despite having one night left and moved to grand view hotel which was amazing.

Best place to stay. Centrally heater available in the rooms, awesome view from the rooms directly, gr8 breakfast and services.

Driver's ke liye thik nhi h koi khane ki suwidha nhi h or na hi toilets ache h very dirty nd bad washrooms for drivers. #swach bharat india.

Great place to stay. Room was spacious with good view. They also provide electrically heated blankets must need during winters. Will stay here again. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Stayed in snow valley resort for 3 days in Nov'2021. Himalayas view with snow from room balcony is splendid and awesome.
Hotel staffs are v polite and good quality buffet food served at breakfast and dinner. Don't forget to reserve your accomodation that includes breakfast and dinner. Highly Recommended for family accomodation. Hassle free car parking space is added advantage. For food quality, Room services & parking space.

Our stay at Snow Valley was a short but very sweet and memorable one. The property is well maintained and has one of the most breathtaking views of the mountains ranges and valley. Loved the location, as it is away from the hustle bustle of the maddening crowd but still close to Dalhousie's main market. The food served in the hotel is very good. The staff too is very cordial and always ready to assist you. Special mention for Mr Pawan Kr at the Front Desk and Mr Vijay Barfani at the Catering Desk who took personal interest in making our stay comfortable. Recommended place to stay for family and couple.

Rooms and upholstery are clean. Prompt staff, and good food. Courteous and caring managers. Thanks to Mr. Pawan bansal, Munish Kumar at the front desk who were very helpful throughout, and Mr. Vikram Singh, Chef Padam.

Services, location is awesome especially waiter rajendra singh planned the very special evening for me and my wife

It's a nice resort. I liked to stay there. Have great view of hills cover with beautiful trees.

The hotel location is excellent near to Gandhi chowk market. Parking facility is just on road. No need to go down or up. Rooms were clean and tidy. Hotel staff is very courteous. I would mention that Mr. Vijay Sharma in hotel restaurant was very courteous during buffet and provided excellent services. Gappu (housekeeping staff in hotel) was also very helpful and readily helped for any room services. Overall experience is wow.
Just one suggestion, that there should be floor wipers provided in room bathrooms as there are chances of slipping due to water.

The best thing about this place was the service offered to us in the restro. 5 stars for the service ans food. Mr. Vijay sharma from the restro staff was extremely polite and gave us the best hospitality, we could have ever asked for️

The hotel is very old and the vibe is not so great, the services provided are outdated or else not working, the good thing about the hotel is food or else the quality of living is something which needs be uplifted by management

3 the food is also very tasty and the breakfast has something new everyday
4 the in room food servise is very good.
Rajinder was amazing he served us food two times and it was vey quick and if we needed any thing extra he would only take a minute
5 overall the staff was very friendly

Cons
1 there was only one problem I had that was the wifi they use a iberry system and they would send us a code and a login id on your mobile number but the code would only let u conect 3 device which is ok BUT when you went out of the resort some times the wifi would disconnect and would ask for the password again and after it had been done 3 times it would not work but the staff kept on sending us new codes if we request ed it so not that big of a problem but would be better if it was fixed

One of the best resort hotel in Dalhousie, near Gandhi Chowk market.
Fooding is best but costly. Room is good but need some repairing works.

This was really a nice stay in this hotel. Location (Located in center of 2 main markets), Mountain view from room, Reception service, almost everything was perfect. Recommended for family.

Giving 4 star as basic amenities was provided only after asking. So if you need anything, you can ask them.

Good Place. Rooms are spacious. Nice view from windows. But the biggest asset of this hotel is there Staff. Very efficient and quick to respond. Location is also one more plus point.

Very unforgettable experiance, Mr manish is great, and mr rajendra (stw) is very careing person, view from top rooms is fantastic, overall ambience is great.

No internet, NO basic MEDICAL KIT in such a big hotel.my son got hurt from nail in their chair, and they hardly had any ointment except savlon

We stayed here for 5 nights and are happy with outr decision to stay with Snow Valley, Dalhousie.

The rooms are big, spacious and clean. We stayed in Maharaja corner room which offers excellent view of the valley, one can even see the peaks of sach pass from the room on clear weather.

Entire staff from front desk to room service to restaurant, everyone was warm and prompt with their service, makes you feel relaxed and appreciated about.

Special mention goes to Mr. Vijay Katoch @ restaurant who would always check on us to make sure the food is fine and would go out of his way to help us gorge on the extra paratha or the last minute unexpected hot gulab jamun.

Forgot to mention the food is here is of top quality satvic food.

Also, during our 5 nights stay we saw constant check in/ check outs by various travellers. Its a lively property.

Staff are good nice food. Ritesh helps us very much Pawan is also helps us for providing hot and tasty food.
Jyoti sharma decorated our room for my daughter's bday party.it is so beautiful.thanks to all for nice stay.rooms are also good.all are nice.

Stayed here for a single night. Had a great time in the resort. Complete calmness can be experienced here. The staff and management at the resort is also very good. Food is absolutely amazing. Had a buffet for the breakfast. Situated in the central area of the town.xa¹ll¹

I went on 15 the Feb. It was great experience. Food was awesome. Staff was very helpful specially Mr. Vijay barfwala who serve us food very well. He always take care that hot food is served and hot pranthas to kids. Hotel location is superb just 2 mins walk from mall road. Terrace had great view. My kids enjoyed alot. 4 star because towel was bit seems to be unclean.else it's superb we enjoed alotttt.

Valley View Resort with magnificent views of Snowy hills in the season. Rooms with Heaters and electric beds too. Food is expensive but you have other restaurants nearby the resort as an option.

We had a issue of bed heater as it was not working
They changed it for almost 6 times as all other heater was also not working. Everytime they were polite while helping us.

Seriously thinking of extending my vacation and stay at the same hotel.hope to get similar hospitality and service in future too. That says it all about the place.there is always a scope of improvement and my suggestions will be registered at the time of check out from the hotel.

Hotel was good. Rooms were neat and clean.staff was good and cooperative.but there was only one problem that is car parking.it needs to improve.other was excellent

Place is good to stay.but food is very very expensive.one tawa chapati rate is 35.and that too is very small in size.veiws from Windows are very beautiful.bed is very warm and comfy.terrace is beautiful.less amenities than expectations.

Worst quality of hotel. Very very dirty rooms & bathroom. It’s take 45 minutes to drain hot water for 1 person. Pls avoid this place. Had booked rooms looking at the pictures online. Pls don’t see that pics as that’s all photography method. I would like to give 0 star for this place. Food also worst than street food.

For a four star hotel I missed something on service and the food quality for dinner was not good. The windows need a new isolation, we had a lot of water inside.

Good enough hotel to stay in dalhousie. But it's not value for money. Average rate for room is 3200 per night but the facilities are not as per that. No slippers available for use and though towels were washed but were very old. Morning breakfast was decent. And food is very costly, better to eat at some other restaurant.
Best thing about the room is view from the window.

Snow valley resort is an excellent place to stay with your family. We stayed for 2 nights. All the staff in the hotel were so cooperative and humble, and specially a boy called ANKUSH he was very very helpful throughout our stay. Overall the hotel was fabulous

Beautiful resort with great hospitality. View from the Maharaja rooms are worth every penny. The big window in the room gives you amazing view of mountains covered in snow ️ The food is good and Room service is also quick to respond. The hotel makes sure that your stay is comfortable. Rooms are large enough with an awesome view of the valley as the name of the hotel states.
Food is also nice but preferred to be taken as an option with breakfast and dinner including while booking, otherwise ala carte orders would be very expensive.
As there were less guests, there was no buffet and the food was served to us in our rooms

When you come in mountain areas even 1 km matters a lot.so max 3 km from mall road is advisory. Roads are very narrow in dalhousie & top of that if there is snow fall hardly one car can pass. Now about hotel, I paid 15k for 1 room for 2 nights. Not worth at all.
Pros & cons pointed as below
1. I saw reviews & photos on internet & thought instantly to book this hotel. Dont do this mistake. Photos of room are of selected rooms which are not same for all rooms. This is 7 floor hotel downwards. If u get till 3rd floor, rooms might b good. Below that rooms are ok.i got room on 5th floor. 4th floor is terrace.again photo of terrace is put on net with full of covered chairs & tables with very nice table mat. That is done only for photography. Corner part of terrace was covered with snow & exact below that i got room. & remaining part of open with no chair nothing.
2. Room was obviously very chilled. Room heater was useless. Heater tower was heating only 5cm area front of it. If u get away from it then no use of heater. I left heater on while gone for sightseeing bt no use.
3. Heating pad on mattress was not working.
4. Wifi speed is very slow or many times doesn't work.
5. When we ask for bonfire for some time on terrace which was anyhow open, they said it is chargeable. Which was not at all acceptable.
Good points are
1. Staff is very friendly & polite. Quick service.
2. Food in restaurant is good & manager Mr. Madan Rajput & his team was serving food with full attention & affection. Food was good.
Overall, if no budget constraints go for other hotels, if rooms in this hotel are getting for max 2.5k then go for it bt be ready to spend full time in 2 blankets. Dont go only for good view, wherever u stand in dalhousie u can see beautiful mountains & breathtaking views.

Value for money and no frills hotel with breath taking views. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The views of the snow covered mountains from the bedroom are absolutely mesmerising. Food is of good quality and the breakfast spread is good. Situated between Subhash Chowk and Gandhi Chowk which give plenty of options to eat and shop.
