Soham Villa & Library

We reached Manali during peak season time and it was overcrowded everywhere. We didn’t enjoy the place at all and decided to leave the very next day. But our experience at Manali was turned around from bad to great by the owners of this stay. I don’t think I’ve met such warm, welcoming and helpful hosts during my travels. They took care of my mom like their own and made sure we had all the comfort we needed. Our 1 day trip was extended to 3 days just because we didn’t feel like leaving the house and the hosts. They have 4 furry kids who are adorable and will make you wanna stay forever.

The 2bhk we stayed in was super clean with all basic amenities. The rooftop cafe has amazing views of the valley and snow covered mountains. We were invited to bonfires and short drives around the valley by the owners so we could get the most out of our trip. They have bed warmers for a comfortable stay. Must must try the Amritsari chicken made by their star chef Hira. Their entire staff were so kind and helpful I can’t get over their hospitality. The owners told us about everything the valley has to offer and actual conditions of roads, travel, etc.

It’s places and people like these that make you feel like moving to the mountains for good. I would highly recommend everyone to come here and experience 5 star hospitality and comfort.

This is one of the best home stay in Manali. View from room balcony is adorable. Rooms are super spacious. The view is just amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean. The caretaker is also very kind.

Located beside the main road. The rooms were decent and very neat and clean. One can enjoy the view of the majestic snow capped peaks right from the bed. Food is very tasty. Owner are very helpful. You won't be disappointed.

Sumptuous and delicious freshly cooked food with extremely warm and quick service. It's value for money and must visit.

What a fantastic taste! I ordered Mumbai masala sandwich and tea. Both really awesome. Fresh vegetables and very fresh tea with biscuits.

I really enjoyed. Required small trekking from main road but it's really really worth.

It was a great stay with parents for 3 days. The host was very friendly and we loved the hospitality. The place was very clean and the food served was also good. The villa is accessible to all the tourist places.

Location: If you like nature with convienence you should explore this property. Local transport easily available as well as rented bikes. Mall road is 5 minutes drive and 15-20 minutes walk. Restaurants lined up nearby. River view as a trek to Vashisth temple and market a must do.
Hosts: Shubhi and Abhinav are the best hosts to interact with. Knowledgeable as well as friendly they are a delight to talk to.

Brownie points for being pet friendly, the barbeque evenings, rooftop bonfires, make shift tent arrangements and so many things they did that made our stay etched in our memories!

Rooms were clean. The owner and the staff’s behaviour is too good. They do have a bon fire outside the villa. Food served is good.

This is an excellent place to be when you are in Manali its close to the vashishta temple & also near to the other attractions. The cafe has amazing food & the cook is a brilliant story teller and if you are a dog lover this place will be a delightful visit. The hosts have incredible knowledge & understanding of Manali and will help you with all the possible options to explore near by - the view is amazing from here with soft breeze coming from all directions.

Loved the time spent at this property with the warm welcome from the host and the staff. The stay was amazing and comfortable with all the fun one could wish for. It’s near Vashishth Kund and temple so u have that spiritual feeling too and can walk to the kund for the bath everyday. The food was really tasty and the owners were really friendly and helpful. The staff is sweet and wud help u whenever needed. They plan a bonfire too and the owner actually have the party to us which was an amazing gesture.

The owners Shubhi and Abhinav are amazing hosts wid gr8 staff… the rooms have mesmerising views.u will feel at home within 5 mins in that place… they made our anniversary and bday celebration most memorable with an amazing bonfire and barbeque

This place is a heaven in manali, specially the couple (the owners), they would do everything to make you feel comfortable, the food is excellent, the people are excellent, the vibe is excellent and the place is awesome!

Abhinav, Shubhi, Rahul and Surbhi were amazing hosts on our one month long stay in the Kangra flat. We had the time of our lives and made memories and friends that would last a lifetime. The rooms are fully furnished and they have given us workstations that are super comfortable to work on if you're working from home/hills. Though I assure you, you will mostly end up working on the terrace or the sun room which has a beautiful view. The hosts also told us about places to visit and helped us in every way possible. The food cooked at the stay is also amazing and you don't need to worry about a single thing. Cannot wait to go back. <3

I stayed at Soham Villa for a month in their 2bhk apartment and I've been nothing but amazed at everything the place has to offer.

Stay - The apartment is modern yet very cozy. Be assured of a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and breathtaking views of the mountains outside your window. The place is WFH-friendly with good wifi and work-desk in the house and on the roof.
The location is perfect - far from the noise yet at walking-distance to all the spots.

Food - Delicious and homely food cooked by their chef Anil and the hosts as well. Very hygienic and light.

Hosts - The people make the place. The hosts are absolutely amazing and would ensure that you go back with loads of stories. What makes Soham villa stand apart is the ability of hosts to make you feel at home since day one.

Be assured of being amazed by this homestay. Definitely coming back here.

We spent a week here. The location is very close to some famous location like old manali, mall road and bashisht. Moreover the option of separate kitchen is also excellent.

I’ve stayed at Soham Villa for 25 days and I cannot wait to come back! The place is owned by two extremely generous couples. Shoutout to Abhinav and Shubhi for being super adorable and helpful. They will give you attention and required space at the same time. There are so many things to do around here and on days when you don’t feel like doing any of it you have their pet dog, Friday! The food is so good not only on your tongue but on your stomach too that you will wanna take their chef Anil back home. Apartment is well kept and super cozy. It’s not a hotel but a home.

The location of the villa is absolutely brilliant.
We felt welcomed as we arrived. Hosts are very helpful, kind and friendly.

We stayed in the “Lahaul” apt for 2 weeks, its a charming space with possibly everything you need on a vacation, specially the view from the rooms is amazing. The place is clean, cozy and very comfortable.
The terrace is the best spot to relax, work and enjoy the beauty around.

Stayed there for 5 days with my friends. The hosts were so cool! Our 2bhk pet-friendly flat was very cosy, fully furnished, with mountain views and a waterfall nearby. This place is just 20 min on foot from Vashishth kund (upward trek) and 2 min walk from the river stream and helipad. We also met locals nearby and were made to feel very comfortable. We went to a camping site in Darcha with the hosts, which was just perfect! The terrace feel with beautiful views is such a retreat. The home food was also decent and was provided on demand basis. It's a perfect place for a long workation as the rooms have good stable wifi. They also have washing machine and kitchen at the terrace. The hosts make you feel so welcomed, it was really a heart warming visit. Made new friends and would love to go again sometime.

I stayed there for around 15 days with my family in their 2.5 bhk apartment. The view from the. 5 room is mesmerising. I used to spent most of my time in that room, including my morning tea which used to be the best part of my entire day.
They have utilised the space efficiently and have workplace as well in each room.
They have a terrace from where the beas river is visible. It felt really relaxing to sit there for hours and witness the beauty and serenity of the beas river.
This place truly allows you to explore yourself and find your inner peace.
Also, the property is situated along the trek to the vashisht kund.
The hosts were really helpful and kind. They were available whenever we needed any help.
Overall it was an amazing experience to stay there. I would like to appreciate the young host for their remarkable efforts and hope that they would continue to be such amazing host.

Best get away place in Manali. The hospitality was beyond expectations, Abhinav is doing a gr8 work to keep things in manner and very well organised. The view of Vyas river from the balcony area is mesmerising and the openness of nature is clearly visible. It totally felt like home with no cons and we had an amazing time for the whole week. The sitting area on terrace is completely out of the box really enjoyed the river’s view and wind over there. Must try this place…loved it

We spent 14 days in this beautiful villa but felt like just 4! The sound of a mountain stream hidden under lush green trees besides the place calmed me down after a long tiring journey.

We lived in a comfy Kangra (3bhk) apartment with a stunning view from the corner room looking at old manali hill. The rooms are clean, aesthetic.

The terrace - soon to be a cafe, is where one can relax or work throughout the day. I got the best views while attending the meetings or just listening to music.

Hosts
The hosts are so kind and loving. It’s amazing to meet such interesting people and get to know them. Friday (see photo) is the soul of that place. Felt like the place won’t let me go. Wish to see you soon!

Hikes and trips
Villa is situated on one of the trails to Vashisth temple. Down the hill is Manali-Leh highway for quick access to Atal tunnel or Mall Road. This place can be a base location for day trips to Lahaul, Spiti or Sethan.

I stayed in Soham Villa for about 2 weeks and the experience was excellent. The rooms and kitchen were tidy. The hosts are super chill, make you comfortable and help you in every possible way. Over and above all this, the view outside from the villa was surreal - with the view of mountains on all 4 sides and river flowing on one side. Couldn’t think of a better place to work from: D
Would love to visit this place once again in the winters to experience snowfall in Manali.

I stayed there for a month and it felt like home. The hosts are really warm and welcoming. They will make sure you are having a good time.

It’s a home away from home. Stayed here for 10 days. Enjoyed the hospitality of the young owners. They took a great care of all our needs. The surroundings are breath taking, in proximity to the Beas river in front, water fall on your side and Vashishtha kund in the neighbourhood made this place an ideal place to relax, meditate and rejuvenate yourself. Recommended for comfortable stay.

Worst experience ever. This is taken over by some dudes from Pune with no experience in hospitality and they are rude, incoherent. They promise a lot on air Bnb but deliver nothing

Very nice place. Nice overview. Rooms were well cleaned and staff was very helpful. Food was just ok.
