Awesome place to visit in winters as well as in summers. Lots of Snow in winters. One can do many snow adventure sports like mountain biking, skiing, paragliding, snow trekking etc.

This is something that you don't want to miss. It costs around 700 INR. It takes some time to go uphill and the view is spectacular. And once you reach uphill, you can spend some time there. Also, it's very convenient. You have cafe and restroom as well. So try it out.

Fixed price of 1000 rs per person is there for adults and 500 rs for kids for paragliding, so need to bargain for anything you can also found fresh honey there at several locations on the way

Beautiful valley with snow laden peaks & lush green meadows; cable car takes you to a mountain top with breathtaking views but the ticket counter accepts only CASH (700 per person) ; Even the restaurant at top has no online payment facility (the network was working well at that moment) ; So keep CASH at hand if u plan to go to Rohtang or solang; paragliding facility is there but I didn't find it very safe as high tension electric wires were there around the landing point;

2 types of paragliding available. 1 from normal height & for other they take you through ropeway.

आज तक का सबसे खराब स्टाफ का बर्ताव को महसूस किया, अगर अब सामने से पैसे मिले तो भी नही जाना चाहूंगा। स्टाफ को गलती बताने पर गाली गलौच और मारपीट पर उतारू हो गए थे। जाने से पहले अपने साथ बॉडीगार्ड लेकर जाना चाहिए।

Amazing views of the valley and Himachal from up top. There are restaurants once you head up the Ropeway. Sadly, people find a way to litter around and throw trash no matter where they go, like it's their birthright. Ropeway is pretty expensive but it's worth taking that for the views. Went there a week ago and still had enough snow to play around.

Favorite places for Indians from South who never see snow. Pay Rs 650 to get in to cable car, you can also do paragliding here for a cheap price

This is the best part of the Solang Valley. At the other end of the Ropeway is the area full of snow. You can have full fun there. You can slide on the snow and you can even do Paragliding.

Great place to visit. The view is amazing. Stay away from people who tries to offer you deals in advance. Go to vendors yourself and ask for rates. Ropeway is a must try.

Beautiful place. Many of visitors come here while snowing. Ski is also done here while snow time. Awesome scenery of Mountains there are too much ATV's here to ride.

This place is just heaven. Beautiful and covered with clean white snow. We were lucky to be there exactly a day after the snow fall. So things were still clean and not too crowded. A must visit in Manali in snowy weather.

Surprisingly well-managed; it was great to go out in the snowy areas, but they need to have better arrangements for senior citizens. We were advised not to rent snow-shoes (Rs. 100 per pair) but to rent sticks (Rs. 20 each) to help us walk in the snow. The ropeway ride costs Rs. 650 per head.

It's awesome experience and highly recommended for Adventure lovers and will be a beautiful experience to see the snow filled mountains and breathtaking views of mountains and roads filled with snow.the drive to solang valley is also a different experience to have

Hiii every one if you are going to Manali then you should go to Solange vally also.
This palace is full of joy
If you are going in summer then there is no snow fall but if you are going in winter then it's full of ice
And you can do skeing also
If you want to do skeing then don't book down side in Manali all of first you should take a suit on rent to RS 250 in Manali
I suggest yto don't take shocks bcz it's not useful then go to solang velly and first take some enjoy on ice and take snakes and drinks with you
When you want to do skeing then just ask them to do they ll tell you 100 to 250 for full day but remember that there is so hight you can't use it for an hour also (Who is a good in health, can't do skeing for an hour) so Bargen with them and just pay 50 RS
If you are in a group of people then 250 for 6-7 people.
And then take tea in between this enjoy full ALLL the best

Solang valley is one of the most exotic places in India. One can experience a lot of snow activities there. Beware and try bargaining for all that you spend, else being a tourist they will rip your pockets off. Due to heavy snow one may not be able to take their one cars, there's a set of jeeps available but it's bomb expensive. Just be careful before u choose.

Solang valley is an awesome place for people who has never visited a snow place.the journey is hardly 20km but the roads are bad.the ski ride is tedious and tiring but the tube ride is adventurous.do not miss the para gliding from all above. Do that activity at first.food over there is very delicious and is hot and is pure veg

Note- do not have skiing package it is a trap to extort money.
Solang valley is very scerenic.
Trekking to the place between the snow is better than hiring a ATV or horse.
Choose your attire carefully as shopkeeper usually provide you dirty clothes for snow.
Muat have Maggie etc on snow top.
U will love this place in winter more than in usual summers.

It's playground of ice in the winter. It's hard to get there. You will have to hire a 4×4 drive. But the place is worth all the effort. You have ropeways, paragliding and skeeing available there.

Awsome place to paragliding or do other activities. Its far from manali (11km). Don't go with bike in winter season. You can dirve well in summer. Its very familiar place.
And at least one time in your life you have to try there streets burn corn (bhutta). I was amazed with the test this is unforgettable. Don't forget to take for your home relatives. ️ Plz one for me.

Awesome place to have loads of fun with family or friends.from jet skying to riding an RTB or for that matter simply sledging down the snow on a tube.

This is the lovely place where you can do all your snow sports including paragliding, yak riding people here come to enjoy the snow this is not so expensive place generally you can do all the snow activities in 2500 rupees

It is situated in nature's paradise but the charges are very high for all sporting and rides however it can also be managed but what is worst is the scarcity of payments options.only one atm machine of pnb is there which is mostly out of service and even at reception of ropeway service u need to pay through cash.so if u are going out there ensure to carry enough cash because u will not find any other option to make the payments. Some of the rates I am sharing for your reference
