Solang Valley Resorts

Location is excellent but the food at the restaurant is not upto the standard of a property of this level. Service very slow.
Property is run down.

We stayed at their presidential suite last week. I must say that the experience was just not worth the money we paid. The only good thing was the view from the room, that too because we had a presidential suite with a sizeable balcony. All the other rooms have a very small balcony. The building is very old. The furniture and fittings in the room were very old and not at all maintained. Not even for a second I felt like I was staying in a presidential suite. The hotel doesn’t offer luxury. It is a very basic hotel with high prices because of the view from specific rooms. Also all presidential suites don’t have a good view. They first offered us a room facing the road that had a view of so many buildings around. Since another room with a better view was available, we luckily got it. The huge garden space shown in the pictures is also misleading. The room was only worth a max of 5k per day and not at all 17k per day. Giving 2 stars because of the view from our room (321) and quick service.

A beautiful place to hangout with friends and family. The restaurant has a cozy vibe with a beautiful outside seating in the lawns.
Had super tasty thin crust Margherita pizza with chilled beer.
A must visit if you're visiting solang Valley.

The service at the solang resort was exceptional. There was absolutely no issue that was not addressed timely and with satisfactory results. We were particulary impressed with how the hotel manager anticipated our needs (periodically coming by the reception to check with us). Quality of food was superb and up to the mark. The place was fantastically nature connected. Particular noteworthy is the longevity of the staff and that sense of investment in the success of every event. I usually offer suggestions for improvements but there is absolutely nothing that could be improved – you have set the bar very high Keep it up!

A place away from hustle and bustle of the city. Very peaceful and serene place to visit. Staff was very well mannered, polite and decent and service was overwhelming. Location was good and the Garden area was beautiful where I enjoyed drinking tea. Food was tasty. Me and my husband enjoyed the Balcony view from where we could see the Glacier. We well surely visit there next time.

Nice location nd resort, but the management do not know about hospitality.very disapointed as we were 7 couples with kids nd we stayed 3 nights.every time we order some food or drink they made u wait for hours.one particular evening they didnt serve even water for 2 hours despite several reminder.

It has a great experience and a excellent View point must visit here ️ I spent a loot of fun here miss this place

Well I can say solang has unmatched beauty you can address the peak of random Himalayan mountains from solang valley but be aware of business people in solang ask for item/product/services rates first even if you are buying a water bottle. And the people who are traveling on a bike and enjoy doing off roading can easily take their bike up to the temple which is few kilometres away from solang don't opt for the other medium (atv, Horse ride etc they will charge you around 300-600 so save money if you don't have a bike please just walk and enjoy the short nature Trek towards temple. Rope way is something which you can enjoy it will cost you around 600-/- per head and if you are brave enough n have good money in pocket don't miss the paragliding. And if you are looking to get acclimatize to the cold weather of Manali & you also have lot of time you can hire a bicycle and pedal from Manali to solang you will surely enjoy the 60 km ride both way & don't do it if you are not fit enough.

Its a good trekking place. ATV bikes are little costly as they charge around 1000 for 1.5 KM only. I will suggest to trek if possible.

Awesome place.weather is very cool at the height. And waterfall is very awsome and water is very cold

It was last year October when we all gathered in solang valley for Solang Sky Ultra run. I was in organization team and we were out of rooms for our volunteers then we contacted to nearest hotel which was Solang valley resort. The stay, food and service was simply amazing and even one can enjoy the view from there.

Best snoe point with all it is required like snow scating cable car paragliding tubes slide, also camping and tracking in solang valley plus the beautiful veiw of beas River

Great location, excellent rooms, but the service and the food (outside of North Indian dishes) was far below our expectations

A resort with all well furnished utilities along with extra caring staff employees. The cold breeze from mountain can be felt through the gallery of the room giving an experience of a lifetime. Must vist for all. Looking forward for another stay soon

The most amazing, heart welming and beautiful place I've ever seen. This place is really beautiful all covered with snow. You'll just keep on watching the beauty of nature at its best here and you could not take your eyes off I gaurantee that. People here give skeying gears and other stuffs for hire minimum is 800 Ko each they ask for more but if you are in a group they will take take like 800 for each which is the minimum. And please don't you buy anything from there especially saffron don't buy saffron from people who come to you and offer you in a very cheap price that's fake I've been through it. Saffron which I genuine costs 350 for 1 gm no body will sell less than that mind it those sold at solang valley are fake beware!

Amazing place. A snowpoint which is mostly covered with snow. Dont miss out the snow activities esp skiing, tube, yak ride, motorbike. Do go for combo packages as you will have to pay through your arm and a leg for individual packages. Close to 2.5 kms from the entrance of solang valley. Kindly opt the horse as they work out reasonable, they ask for 800 but if you bargain they may step down to 650 for couple. To sum it up an awesome place for both family and couples.

A must visit place for all. It offers a range of activities like skiing, paragliding, quad biking amongst others. Having a ride on the cable is a memorable experience. The view up the mountain is breathtaking.

Beautiful place. Its has snow during most part of the year. Best time to visit would around January and February. They have ice skiing, paragliding and other other adventure sports that one must definitely try. However be aware of prices. They quote as high as 700 to 800 per person for 3-4 activities like skiing, rubber tube sliding, rappelling and maybe a photo with yak which you can bargain and do in just 300-400 Rs only. Paragliding can be done in 1000 Rs. Also the Ice Jumpsuits can be taken on rent at 150 which is quoted for 250-300 Rs. So be aware or get fooled. Rest be assured the experience with nature will be awesome, no doubt there.

This place is no less than a heaven on Earth. The river beside the tent area gives you a chilly night that people would love to experience. Best place for photography and having a romantic time.

All these hotels are same in manali. Nothing much.you have to pay extra money on everything except than room

It was a pretty good experience and the service was also a nice. However the food was not as good as I expected.

The cable car and the view on the top is awesome. Also the snow is clean on the top with less crowd.

Solang Valley Resort is a great place for nature loving people the camp was very beautiful it was made of temporary tents with all the modern facilities the camp tent has three divisions 1 was for the view of outside second room was for sleeping third room was bathrooms I was surprised that tent can accommodate 3 rooms on our visit to this camp we made a campfire and enjoy the campfire with snacks the night sky was beautiful with all the stars blowing like I have never seen the management was very helpful for making campfire and getting us the warm food
We finished our camp fire at about 11: 00 pm and went back to our tents the cold war unbearable even the three inches blankets cannot stop the cold but it is all part of the experience of Himalaya and its beauty
Our trip to Solang Valley was a part of 12 days bike trip to Manali to Leh Ladakh on Royal Enfield which was organised by motosaga which is a great company and there having very good experience in conducting such a road trip we enjoy a lot we cannot describe the beauty of Himalayas we have to just experience it

Lifetime experience.one should do all adventures activities here in their life. Breathtaking views once you go on top for ropeway for paragliding. Mountain bike ride is awesome. Its real dirt bike ride. Coming to rates all rates are fixed. 3200 for long paragliding and 1000 for short. Mountain bike 500 for short ride and 1000 for temple and snow point visit and back to car park anywhere. Start early in manali before 10am so that u can reach back early and also lots of traffic jam in manali town. Take care guys.and happy adventures

Awesome place to visit. Full of snow. From manali city, only few kilometers to travel. Better to travel by bike, rather than in car and bus. The roads are bit congested when heavy vehicles pass by. There is a Shiv temple in solang valley. You can reach there only by a horse ride or an ATV bike ride. Bike ride is just awesome to try rather than horse riding if people prefer for adventure. After reaching up near to the shiv temple, you need to climb the steps. You need to remove your shoes n then climb the steps to reach the temple, where you can see shiv ling n ganpathi. The steps would be covered with snow. Down the hills you hv tea n snack stalls to make yourself warm n fill your tummy.

Down the hill if you move a little forward, you can do many adventure sporting. You can pay 650/- per person and enjoy the scenic view of solang valley in rope way. After you reach the top you have a restaurant there. N u can see the snow covered mountains. You can walk through the snow n Trek through the mountain. Before you climb these snow filled mountains, you can hire boots n socks to protect your legs from cold. Climbing the mountains is easy n the view from the top is jus awesome. Here you can do paragliding for 3200/-. If you hv already paid 650/- for rope way, then you need to pay only 2550/- for paragliding. It's a must try adventure sport n it's heavenly. Solang valley is one of the best place to visit in Manali. It's Jus awesome n fabulous.
