Please do not book homestay or hotel online if you visit by yourself and ask if the price might be cheaper than online.

Solo home has good quality service Best part of these are food delivery at any time before 11 pm and I also love the food of solo home.

Clean rooms with food supplies to the rooms. Vehicles are not allowed near to hotel, only foot path is there.

I search almost every hotel on makemytrip ixigo goibibo but doesn't found any better hotel than this one is this price range
Delux room with valley view are the best

Quite, safe, at a decent position, with pleasant staff, and easily reachable. My trip to Shimla was fun. I appreciate Team Solo Home.

- Traveler’s arriving by train usually take a bus directly from the bus stop to Ghoda Chowki, which costs between Rs. 7 and Rs. 10 per person.

The location is absolutely worth it, and the views from the balcony are beautiful despite the apartment being a little distance from the bus stop and having between 100 and 150 stairs.

Awesome rooms for low price good and friendly behaviour of the staff and owner. A nice view airy feel and ambience. Amazing stay will go back for sure.

Pathetic experience! Owner had not told us that the hotel does not have a parking. Hence we have to pay additional charges for parking. Also, the hotel was down the stairs in a colony which was atleast a 300 MTR distance. Rooms were ok with very small space. View was also not good. On the top of that, the boy forgot to delievr our order and we were waiting for 40 min for 2 cups of tea. There was no professionalism as they were making too much noise at 6-6.30am disturbing our sleep! Won't recommend at all.

It was nice exprience to stay over there. It is very nice place in shimla with budget. Good service by owner as well as staff. Only issue is we need to step down almost around 300-400 steps to reach home stay and again climb back the same steps to reach the main road. Not advisable to aged people as well as having family with small kids where you need to carry kids.

I visited in Oct 2021, checked in 26th Oct & Checkout 30th Oct. Host Naveen Kumar was not available at that time but care taker Ravi was there and he was very helpful. I reached at morning 7 am and Ravi provided me a room, it was neat and clean, daily room servicing were done. Tea and breakfasts are also easily available at same place. Room price and food charges was in good cost and budget. View from terrace/balcony was superb, we can see beautiful landscape of sunrise and sunset along with mountain and trees. Jaakhu Hanuman temple was also visible which was awesome. Hotel is located at Ghoda Chowk / Kachhi Ghati, which is 1 km from Shimla bypass / crossing bus stop. Overall was and excellent stay and recommended.

This is an average place to stay in Shimla for a low budget trip. You'll easily find 1 room for 2 person in around 1k including breakfast if you directly talk to owner or through contact available online. They have two rooms with a small balcony from where the view is quiet good and even you can see the small statue of hanuman ji of jakhoo temple. There are two male staff who take care of the property and of your basic needs during stay. Both are very polite and greet you respectfully. Rooms are also good but they were not properly cleaned. Only aalu parantha with dhai, butter and achar and plain toast with tea and coffee are available in the free breakfast menu. You will find few small shops nearby for your basic needs like Maggie, eggs water etc. There are two very main disadvantages of this place are: 1. You'll have to struggle to park your car or any vehicle as they don't have their own parking space and you have to occupy few roadside space on first come basis. 2. Property is located very down from the from main road where you'll park your car. There are approx. 100 stairs which you have to climb up and down to reach to solo homes every now and then which you will feel very combersome task. Although it is 5 km away from the lyft of mall road, hence you can easily go there by your own vehicle.

Location is very bad and very hard to find it took us half an hour to find the location owner is also not good rude behavuour and there is no staff only one boy there the rooms are dirty and also there is no view from the hotel because it is located underground floor you will feel like you are caught in a prison there tv was also not working after saying so many times they recharged the tv on third day no food service and also food stalls another market is very far from the location overall very bad experience you can get much better for the bugs you pay in any other hotel.

The staff was very polite and we had a very amazing stay. We’ve truly enjoyed the night at bonfire with the staff members on 26th december Kudos to the whole staff at solo home

The staff was very nice and humble. Best economical place in Shimla. Rooms have sightseeing too.

This is my 8th visit in Shimla
I had stayed in many hotels but I like this hotel for its location and rooms. Rooms were very big and I love view from the room. Separate balcony. I would recommend this hotel to every one. Specially for couples.

Not so far from Road side.

1- Very bad location.
2- you can't expect any service.
3- long distance from Mall road.
4- room is good but you cannot find anything shopping and eating.
5- it is like a homestay.
6- You have to walk 207 stairs to reach the hotel.
7- railway station, bus stand and Mall road are very far from this. The taxi takes 200-300 RS.to reach the shimla mall.
