Right from the start till the very end ; their team was transparent, friendly and super helpful. With rough weather conditions in January, the quality of comfort in home stays, was beyond our expectations. Thanks for all the memories. Will definitely be looking to plan my summer Spiti trip with the SHA team again!

Just had the pleasure of travelling wit SPITI Holiday Adventure for our winter Spiti expedition and it was nothing but filled with adventure and adventure.

Accomodation (all the homestays were beyond are expectation, hospitality was as homely as it gets, food was too good, knowledge sharing and flexibility of the tour was remarkable.

Big thanks to our host Abhinav Chandel who’s the most humble and modest person I’ve ever seen but honestly the locations we were taken to it was Bang on! Completely offbeat places including touristy spots as well!

A big thanks to our tour co-ordinator Rahul Negi who managed pretty well in terms of everything right from breakfast, dinner, homestays everything. Lastly, without all the drivers this trip wouldn’t have been possible A big thank you to Devji, Singayji, Thushar & there was one more I forgot the name.

Just 2 days ago completed a 14 days family travel through Spiti valley and Kinnaur, organized by SHA. We had wonderful experience all throughout; everything (stay, vehicle, sight seeing etc.) was arranged picture perfect and our travel program went through flawlessly.

SHA team members spent good amount of time in discussing with us and finalizing the itinerary of our choice. Rest was left with them. Even the preceding day of our start, a part of our travel road collapsed (at Nigulsari) and no way we could travel through that road (only road) in next 5-7 days. SHA team promptly informed us and completely reversed our scheduled itinerary, so that we can complete the travel without missing any chosen spot. This was truly phenomenal are we are immensely thankful to them. The vehicle, the driver etc.were also perfectly matching in service quality.

If we travel again in that area, SHA will surely be our instant and only choice. Wish all the very best to SHA.

Looking at past monsoon impact on lower himachal we were skeptical to travel to Spiti but the team made sure we were safe. Our travel was very comfortable. I did summer spiti and kinnaur expedition with SHA and its one of the greatest experiences of lifetime. SHA is definitely best in business, their itinerary, arrangements, mainly stay locations are top class. Given current situations in mountains, we felt safe and travelled without any obstacles. The 13 day customized trip to Kinnaur, Lahaul & Spiti valley was initially planned for 2020 summer & then deferred twice. Highly recommended! I used a customised option for my family vacation to Spiti. We got a very experienced driver and Innova car for our entire trip. The stay they arranged and food that was served were excellent. Overall, my family had a great vacation.

While earlier we planned for a typical trip of Dharamshala, Kullu, Manali etc. SHA team suggested us non conventional options and we planned for Manali, Keylong, Tirthan. They helped us plan the entire trip considering our specific requirements, not only hand holding throughout the trip for any issues or weather updates and also accommodated changes in middle of the trip. The experience they have and the local hold/connects is unmatched. Overall, the trip was very beautiful, scenic and non-tiring as well. We loved all their suggestions of places to visit as well as accommodation.

Just returned from a trip to Spiti with this team. The team is well organized and because they are from Himachal, they know all about the place and must visits.

Rahul ji and Aman ji were excellent in their roles and provided us with a much needed experience! Looking to go on more adventures with this group. This is surely the best group to look out for if one is looking to visit anywhere in Himachal.

I did the Spiti valley road trip with Spiti holidays in April 2023, and I must say they surpassed my expectations. I have been living outside of India for many years, and was skeptical while choosing a travel company, as I was traveling solo. Spiti adventures organized a perfect and beautiful trip to Spiti in the middle of winter. We chose a private trip for flexibility and convenience. Driver was skillful and respectful. I planned my trip with spiti holiday who hosts an experience of around 33 years being a native. Everything was well planned in advance. Good driver, good vehicle, good home stays were given. Local coordinator on ground was in constant touch regarding our experiment and health observing the temperatures. No undue or excessive charge was burdened on us unlike other travel companies. As per the seasonal availability, best of the food was given to us.
Whenever any of you has plans to go to spiti valley, do go with them.

We travelled in the first winter batch Dec 11-17th through the Spiti circuit starting from Shimla. What an amazing trip it has been. The folks who hosted us as different homestays and our tour guide and driver were such gracious hosts. Spiti in winter is definitely not for the faint hearted, but for those who embark on this journey will walk away with a truck load of memories. Spiti travels organised everything to the tea and ensured we had the most amazing experience.

I traveled with them in their 24th Sept-1st Oct batch. Their arrangements are great at all the locations. If I am to rate their stay arrangements then #maitreyaregency at Tabo was the finest. Even their stay arrangements at #eskapeadventurecamps at Rakcham and #khabrikhomestay at Lalung were really good. But I’d like to recommend them to change this Hotel Delek House we stayed at Kaza. It wasn’t too bad but I suppose by the time we reached Kaza we were already spoiled. The rooms were too small and some of our co-travellers complained about not getting hot water in their washrooms. Food was good at all the locales. There was a Jain girl traveling in our group and interestingly even she was provided with food that was prepared according to her specifications. Here too I’ll give #maitreyaregency a big thumbs up And yes, how can one not mention the #thehimalayancafe at Kaza here. Food’s fantastic to say the least. It was such a pleasure meeting Mr. Ramesh Lotey. Overall, the trip was great. Their planning and arrangements just right! Our driver Jagdishji and our guide Kalsang were nice and knowledgeable. While Kalsang took great care of us Jagdishji kept us amused with his quick wittedness. Such warm people! I don’t think we could have asked for a better driver. It won’t be wrong to say that he kept us safe on the roads with all those years of driving experience behind him. I do look forward to traveling to Spiti in the future and certainly with #spitiholidayadventure. Thank you for giving me a great and a memorable trip. Good luck to you guys! ️

We visited Spiti valley through "Spiti Holiday Adventure" between 17th July and 22nd July 2022. We took the Manali-Spiti-Manali route. We were a family of 8 members which included half of people of age above 60. The trip was very well organised and our driver Mr. Kuldeep was amazing. Spiti valley as such shows the Glory of Lord's creation, so its a must visit and i would say "Spiti Holiday Adventure" are experts in organising this journey for us.
The homestays were very good throughout and the Moonlake camps rents in Chandratal was too good.

It was a great experience with Spiti Holiday Adventure. From planning the trip to completing it, throughout a smooth process and communication. We had a hiccup during our trip due to landslide but it all got sorted and our itinerary was adjusted to have a very minimal impact on our over all trip and experience. I will highly recommend Spiti Holiday Adventure for planning a trip to Spiti.

This was one of our most memorable trips. The credit for the same goes entirely to Spiti Holiday Adventure. Right from the time we booked our trip till the last day that we left from Chandigarh we had an amazing experience. Nikhil, Rahul and Ramesh Lotey took care of all our requirements perfectly well. The drivers of the vehicles we travelled in were extremely courteous and caring. The hotels we stayed were excellent and arrangements were taken care in advance prior to our checkin. We went for Spiti exploration. Whole trip was amazing. All of their staff were experienced, humble and helpful. All staff are local so it was a great advantage to know local people, food, culture, etc.

Home stays are the best part of the trip. Trip guide Rahul Negi makes the trip more alive. Mafia game with him will be the best part of your nights. Spiti in winters is definitely worth it. More than happy to have done it with this team.

The fixed departure tour was nice. Our guide Rahul Negi deserves a special mention for handling the group and tour. We faced many scenarios where in there was lot of sudden snowfall but Rahul took a good care of us and we covered all the places mentioned in the tour plan. All home stay are very good among with the food provided at kaza home stay.

The Kinnaur and Holi festival trip of Spiti Holiday Adventure was fabulous! The trip was well organised with good home stays and home like food on all days. After looking up and getting quotes from various tour operators, I finally settled with Spiti Holiday Adventure.

We did the complete Spiti loop with Spiti Holiday Adventure in September. It was 11 days customized Innova trip for 2 persons. The planning was done in multiple iterations and was very patiently handled by Mr. Nikhil.
Whole trip was customized as per our needs. In the entire 11 day trip, we were with Mr. Bunty – our driver and guide. His vehicle was in super condition. He was a very good driver, very punctual, very good local knowledge and always ready to help.
In between the tour, we wanted to change our itinerary due to some personal reasons. The program was modified as per our need without any complain.

If you ever want to really experience Spiti in all its true and raw glory, taking a road trip with Spiti Holiday adventure should be right up on your to-do list. I have visited Spiti before but this time my 8 day trip with Spiti Holiday adventure was my most memorable trip to my favourite mountain destination.
Right from helping out with coordination on whatsapp about dates of travel to helping me with hotel reccomendations and cabs, Spiti holiday adventure made sure I had a great experience.

Our guide was the most knowledgeable Tenzin who was so particular about the comfort of each and every traveller. He was such wonderful company throughout the journey. I hope you're reading this Tenzin. Thank you for being so amazing.
Every place we stayed at, whether it was a property or a homestay offered us wonderful facilities and great food. After an entire day's worth of an outing, coming back to a clean room, yummy food, and a restful bed really made a huge difference.
We were allowed to soak in the essence of every place we visited. We were given our time to see and enjoy the mesmerizing landscape and take zillion images. Meeting the monks at Key monastery, drinking their magic tea brew, tasting crunchy apples, chewing on yak milk cheese, we did so much!
Even the individuals who drove our traveller were so adept at their job. Special mention must be made of Mukesh and his fantastic driving skills on those challenging roads.

Thank you Spiti holiday adventure. You've given me amazing memories at a time when the pandemic is still up and about but we were all taken care of so well.

I traveled in August to Spiti and it was a great experience. We had good, experienced people from the agency guiding us. They made sure we were all comfortable, and taken care of. Highly recommended. I would also suggest people follow the email instructions sent by the agency regarding the kind of clothing to pack. Spiti is cold in summers too, for us atleast!

We had a great time during our road trip to Spiti valley with Spiti Holiday Adventure. They accommodated our request and designed a customized tour for us. We were very impressed with the driver/tour guide Vicky and his vehicle. They organized a Innova for us and when you are on a road trip for 10 days, the vehicle and person driving is one of the most important aspect. Vicky was a thoughtful driver, empathetic, punctual and almost obsessed with his car. On the very first day when he reached to pick us we were particularly impressed with the car, it was spick and span and he would maintain that everyday! He would be ready 15 mins before the decided time everyday and anticipated situations specially when we did not have network in few places.
Our stay in all the places was good and well organized. We did not have to struggle with logistics anywhere.
Overall it was a great experience.
This is not related to SHA however a suggestion for them to deliberate and see if anything can be done since they are operating in this region, it can be seen as their contribution towards community work - In Mudh and Kaza due to influx of tourist we observed lack of city planning in managing garbage within the village. Every day hundreds of tourist are visiting these places and it is increasing by day. It will be great if SHA can help address the issue together with other tour agencies engaging local community.

Recently went to few exotic locations again in Lahaul area - definitely worth visiting.
Miyaar valley - still unexplored beauty with lust, green mountains and flowing river. Great hospitality by Niraj - owner of Kangla valley camp.
Tirthan valley - perfectly located hotel on bank of river made our stay most memorable.
Chandrataal - continuous flowing snow - what else to expect.
Dhundi and great Himalayan national park trekking were like cherry on cake.:)
And above all, perfect co-ordination and support by Nikhil from Spiti holidays made our experience more memorable.

Being a solo backpacker this was the first time I went on a group trip, had no expectations. But since the moment I stepped out of the airport in Srinagar the feeling of an organised trip by a tour company wasn’t there instead it felt like meeting some friends and going on a road trip. Accommodation and transport was taken care of by the locals who are the most loveable and hospitable people ever I have come across, we were treated like family and friends.since it was a No Itinerary tour, we were planning on what to do, where to go, where to eat was decided by us.

Few years back I went to Kullu where I saw a picture of the Key Monastery, a majestic piece of architecture in the snow cladded mountains and was amazed to see so. This dream of mine came true this year when I went to Spiti Valley with Spiti Holiday Adventure, organising road trips to Spiti from the last 30 years. Ramesh Lotey runs a fine organisation. He personally took care of a lot of little, little things for us, like introducing us to Seabuckthorne juice to help cope with the breathing issues at those altitudes. And the team at Spiti Holiday Adventure is equally amazing. The entire experience was wonderful. Strongly recommend them for a Spiti holiday.

Spiti Holiday Adventure ('SHA') was the best choice that we made. (We were a group of 10 people)

We were stuck in Kalpa due to heavy rains and landslides in Kinnaur valley. The weather conditions ahead of Kinnaur were also very bad. It had snowed in Kaza and other parts, the roads to Chandrataal were closed too. We neither could go ahead nor behind since the Manali roads were shut due to floods.

At this point in time SHA was quick to respond to us and had arranged for stay in Kalpa for an additional day at no extra cost. Also the stay at every next destination had been arranged without any inconvenience. This reduced our hustle for arranging stay for 10 people.

The terrains in Spiti are unpredictable, Spiti Holiday Adventure ensured we had an amazing holiday. From food, to stay, to people, everything was well managed by their team. Their hospitality is awesome. And the people at each hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Special shout out to Gaurav Maheshwari for co ordinating with us at a time when we had no idea what and how to do. He helped us by giving us the Disaster Management's number, not making us wait for too long on the roads with bad weather and also provided us the contact number of one of their drivers who was to go ahead of Kalpa the next day.

First of all the region of Spiti is mind blowing but Spiti Holiday Adventure made the entire trip wonderful and comfortable.
Sharing experience of the whole journey.

Tour Plan: Ours was a completely customised tour with certain useful advice from the SHA team.

Accommodation: Since we were travelling with family we requested for all luxury hotels. And the choice of hotels shared by the SHA team was great. They even recommended one day Homestay at Mane, which was an amazing experience. The only constrain with Mane Homestay was the approach road to the place as the vehicle doesn't reach the hotel. One needs to walk 5-10 mins to reach the place. The owner is really friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

Vehicle and Driver: They provided Innova which was very comfortable. The driver was also good and skilled. Except on certain occasions he would not listen to our opinions and especially denied to follow the map on last day while traveling towards Amritsar. This resulted in loss of time, little rash driving and irritarion on his part.

Overall Experience: This was definitely one of the amazing trips we have had, thanks to SHA team for managing everything so well and partly to our luck and favour of Nature.

It is all about your driver. We got one of the best driver Rinku who made sure that we enjoy every bit of it. Accommodation was good considering the place. Only thing was not good in our stay was Spiti Serai, there is a lot of scope to improve it. We really loved our stay in Lahlung and chandrataal tent stay. In the end, Rinku was awesome driver and we loved our trip.

We were a group of 6 friends traveling to Spiti valley from Mumbai this July. Our package with Spiti Holiday Adventure (SHA) was from-to Delhi.

SHA arranged for Innova Crysta and let me highlight that our driver Mr Gladdy was extremely experienced and fun all through the trip; his tips and local-guide-like advices helped us alot. It is very very important to have a good car and experienced driver while traveling to Spiti because of the bad quality of roads (if you even call them roads) and many other reasons.
Travel/Car/Comfort-10/10

Hotels were really above our expectations for all 10 days. Best was Maitreya hotel in Kaza and Urgain Homestay in Lhalung. There was a cafe just below Maitreya hotel - The Himalayan Cafe which serves the best food and all types of cuisines. After 4 days of having only Dal chawal/Rajma chawal in Narkanda, Sangla, Chittkul, Kalpa you will love the food here.

One of our friends was unwell as soon as we reached Kaza. Mr Ramesh Lotey and Ms Vishakha (from Himalayan Cafe) were kind enough to check on his health throughout the day and arrange for oxygen and a car to the hospital when needed. Thank you both.

Breakfast and Dinner - Considering that these places are such small villages and remote in nature, the breakfast and dinner was way better than our expectations. Dinners would atleast include 1 subzi, dal, rice and chapati, over and above this was jackpot. Breakfast would atleast include bread butter, paratha and omlet, tea coffee of course.
Breakfast and dinner at Kaza at The Himalayan Cafe was the best.
Food-10/10

Visited Spiti with a group of 5 girls in the month of June 2019. SHA has very well managed and planned our entire trip. The accommodation, food quality specially Jain food, Car arrangement, hospitality, and safety during our entire trip was quite impressing. The driver was very helpful and guided us well. A big thank you to the whole team specially Nikhil and Rahul for always being so helpful, co-operative and kind. We had the most amazing time and wonderful experience. Spiti an adventurous place with mesmerizing views and humble people is a must to visit.

Useless travel agency with total inefficient planning. These guys don't even pick up your calls once you reach kaza.
Our entire trip got spoiled as we had to literally fight with these guys to get what we paid for.
In the start of the trip we got the worst car possible. Ac not working, components taped up, etc. Although we don't need an AC for a major part of the trip but traveling in 40degrees from Chandigarh sweating due to high heat with our windows open because that felt cooler than the AC inside when everyone around us were enjoying their ACs made us look like complete fools. We had to threaten law suits to change our car from shimla. Although the drivers they give are very good the car condition really upsets us and that to this was the first impression they made on us.
Next our set of hotels in our itenary were completely not worth the money we had paid for them. Majority of the hotels in the package are partnerships with the agency and hence not always the best hotels for the money paid in town.
During our trip we faced road problems in kunzum pass and the route to chandratal was closed hence we were not able to get to the Manali part of our tour. During such times is when a travel agency comes handy but these fools don't even have that much of a common sense to handle them. We requested them that we could at least go and play a little in the snow out there and come back as that part of the road wasn't closed and was the only part of the trip we could actually go to and touch snow. They literally stopped us from going to kunzum pass and return due to some reason only known to them. Again we had to fight.

They advertise their 30yrs of experience so much but I guess I am more qualified to set an itenary and a group of good hotels for almost 3/4 if not half the price I was charged.
It's better to hire a taxi from Chandigarh or shimla and ask them to make an itenary

The winter exploration trip to Spiti was my most comfortable journey in the mountains despite of harsh weather forecasts and a difficult terrain. All thanks to the experience and hospitality of Spiti Holiday Adventure team!

We went for Winter Spiti exploration. Whole tropwas amazing. All of their staff were experienced, humble and helpful.

Our winter tour in Dec'18 was very well organised. The SHA team never says ''No" to client demands and manages the tour well. The team is courteous and polite to respond to your queries and is approachable. I hope SHA continues such efficient services.

"Go Solo, Go Far". Juley. The team at Spiti Holiday Adventure & Ramesh Lotey, ensured that my seven day solo trip to Spiti Valley (Manali to Kaza and back) was well worth it. Everything about this trip was well thought through & executed. To begin with, Ajay Rathore, who drove me around through out my trip apart from being a good driver was well aware of history and culture of Spiti. Chandrataal and the homestay at Lalung were my favourites and no words can describe the beauty of the place or the hospitality of Urgain. For a trip to Spiti one must remember it is a place where everything that is basic is the best, be it food, hotel rooms, homestay or in tents.

About Spiti - Kumzum Pass is as mystical as serene, Key Monastery is historical and beautiful. Langza, Kibber, Hikkim, Komic, Mudh, Dhankar provide and amazing perspective to the culture. Chandrataal lake is astonishing (a must visit), road to pin valley provides a scenic & diverse view of the landscapes. Net net- everything is beautiful, unimaginable (until you see it from your own eyes) and astonishing
