Spiti Sojourn

We absolutely loved our stay at Spiti Sojourn in Pangmo. Lovely hospitality and amazing view. Away from crowded kaza, great to experience culture and traditions of Spiti valley. They have a femal monastery (nunnery) close by which is a must visit.
Nice cozy rooms with attached bathrooms and warm beds. Very neat and clean place. Food was homely and traditional, we were served hot food next to a tandoor to keep us warm, must try the local alcohol there.
Had the most amazing time with the hosts. Abid, Ritika, namka bhaiya were great hosts. Would highly recommend to stay here when in Spiti.

Loved every bit of my stay at Spiti Sojourn. The place has been made with so much love and attention and it shows! Forever grateful for Namkha bhaiya and his family’s hospitality.
The amazing experiences curated by Abid and Ritika - from the scenic river side picnic, to mesmerizing star gazing, village walks in beautiful Pangmo were nothing but surreal!

Arrived late one night freezing cold. What a blessing we stopped here. Warm beds whiskey and a hot meal. On top of that great company. Had a couple of days here stuck because of the weather. It all ended up in a great friendship with AJ and Riti. Long story and so much fun. Thanks to the rest of the crew at Sojourn Homestay I really hope I will be able to stay there again one day.

True, authentic and very hospitable. This is exactly how I would describe Namka and Dhikit.
Rhikita and Abhit are very friendly and do their very best to give us an authentic homestay. They were very helpful with us getting there and to the next place. They even showed us around!
Don’t come here if you fancy parties or do online work. Do come here if you want to experience a local authentic homestay. You will love it, just like I did.

I have had the best Homestay experience with Abhid, Ritika and Namka bhaiya. I don’t know which among these was my best experience… the view of the homestay, their hospitality, their knowledge and love for the Spiti valley (they were gracious enough to show us around). Such an amazing place and hospitality amongst the stunning beauty of Spiti Valley. One can always stay here and visit prominent places around Kaza. Namka Bhaiya was a great host. He sat with us whole evening and narrated bery interesting things about local culture and history. Food was delicious and refreshing. You get to eat local food with locals. This is a great place to have as your base as well as to relax. Location is outstanding and village people are so good and helpful. Special mention to Abid who is responsible for guiding me throughout my Spiti trip to make it one of the mosy memorable of our lifetime. We will meet again guys!

Wonderful experienced just like a home, Very supportive person Mr. Namka and his family members. I met his 3 childs they are very cute. Neat and clean Rooms, Dining area and washrooms. Location is very beautiful view behind Sojourn Home stay you can see spiti river in long view and amazing landscape. Its very peaceful village Pangmo. They served me in dinner Special Rajma, Mix veg, and Dal its very tasty. I cooked omelet in his kitchen. I wish visit again with family and recommend to everyone.

We found the warmest people in the cold Spiti. From the very beginning, Abid was extremely helpful and honest while helping us coordinate our stay. Namka sir and his family were so kind to us, they welcomed us with warm tea, they even had a fire going to keep us warm. We had the most delicious local food during our stay.

While we couldn't stay for as long as we would have liked to, we will definitely try and come back and spend more time with these wonderful people. A special thanks to Abid and Ritika for creating a connection between this wonderful family and the rest of the world.

Best place to experience Spitian Culture. Travelled to many places but experienced the best hospitality here. Hosts were brilliant, food was homely. Overall must try experience when on your Spiti Journey! Highly Recommended

Drove from Dharamsala to manali to Pangmo village where this little heaven is situated!
Had an experience of a lifetime.
Romi and myself were treated to wholesome local cuisine, warm and typical spitian style living room and unmatched hospitality. Warm, clean bedroom where we slept like babies.
Felt like never before.
Millions of stars in the night sky and as if one of them came down to be with us. Namka bhaiyya. As efficient and sweet was the lady of the house. Dikit.
Unfortunately could not meet Abid and Ritika the other members of team Spiti Sojourn.
I really think this is how a Homestay should be.

I have been traveling to Himachal Pradesh for last four years and have stayed in many beautiful places and came across many beautiful local people's, but to be honest Spiti sojourn is one of the place which stole my heart to the fullest in my last four years.
This place is very silent that you can hear each and every minute Nature sound and it has one of the best views. The main thing over here is hospitality, you will definitely feel like home and Namka Bhaiya is taking care of that place, he is one gem of a person. We stayed there for three nights and Namka Bhaiya literally spent more than 6hours with us for a day, even he had a busy schedule, he is not only managing the property, he does farming also. So doing this things and spending time with the tourist is definitely not a easy job. There are many beautiful things to say about this place. But rather than seeing the reviews one should definitely give it a go and experience the wonder of Spiti sojourn. Again big thanks and salute to Namka Bhaiya and his wife.

Words can't describe the hospitality of namka bhaiya and his family. He runs the homestay located at pangmo village. It felt like home. We stayed there along side with his wife, father and his 3 beautiful children who we adored the most. The comfort level here is outstanding with rooms to amazing foods. The nights here was magical when we saw the milky way galaxy through our naked eye. The entire experience we had at sojourn and namka bhai with family is the best experience I had in all my travel diaries. I very highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to spiti valley cause I know and the people who've been there knows you won't regret it.

Spiti Soujourn homestay at Pangmo, Spiti Valley is a delight to be at.
The overall experience from the hospitality extended by Ritika to plan the stay and overall trip - to the food & local sightseeing by Namkah Bhaiya was just outstanding. Undoubtedly one of our best stays and memories of the Spiti Trip. I strongly suggest everyone to experience Spiti Soujourn. Kudos to the entire Spiti Sojourn team!:) will definitely revisit.

Spiti sojourn is located in a remote village called pangmo, that's what makes it an incredible experience. If you are travelling from a metropolitan and wanting a stay where you can peace out this place is the one. Abid and Ritika helped me plan my trip from Delhi letting me know all the do's and don'ts in advance that really helped me. The place is actually a home stay and you feel that homeliness maymay and Namka bhaiya is always ready to fulfill any requests you have. It's the only homestay in the village so you see only the locals there, location is perfect for stargazing and the food was really nice.
Locals are really friendly so you can go and talk to them for hours.
Overall experience was fantastic, looking forward to get back there again.

Super amazing place to stay in Pangmo, on the way from Kaza to Losar-Manali. Hosts are so friendly and caring. Enjoyed the best time in Spiti at their place. Loved the local delicacies served by the hosts.

Spiti Sojourn was the fave part of my 10 day Spiti trip. The homestay is run by Namka bhaiya and his wife Dikit.they are the warmest people I have ever met.fed our soul with love and warmth. The village has no network and that's the best part.spent some quality time with my friends, so much that we composed a song on Spiti. The living room is equipped with books, Ukulele and board games. A must must visit place if you are in Spiti!

In our two weeks of spiti circuit ride, we stayed at this place for two nights. An amazing place. The hospitality, food, the view, people around, the vibe … everything is so good that you will extend your vacation and stay there for more days. Definitely recommend place. This is not all a Stay, but it's your Home. Namka bhaiya and his family made us feel that way. Located in a peaceful area in Pangmo and you could see the Snow Capped mountains from the window and wake up to the views of the hills.
We had stayed here for 2 days during our Spiti Circuit ride, the roads were awesome and the place was so accessible from most of the villages like Kaza.
Wish i had more days to stay there and if there is a chance I'll be going back there again. Thanks to Abid bhai and Ritika Bhabhi for suggesting this place to us.

Comfortable cozy place in pangmo off-kaza recommend for anyone doing Spiti circuit instead of staying at kaza.
We stayed here instead of crowded kaza & it was a good decision! Scenic views, a water ridge to play with, good food with local home made liquor and a great host ready to do anything for the customer.
We stayed here for 2 days, made this as our base to visit komic langsa hikkim key.all are accessible by beautiful NH that's easily accessible by from homestay. The vibe of this place is in itself magical. We drank, danced, ate local tasty food, played in ridge on our bikes, slept peacefully. Namka bhaiyya, Abid & Ritika were excellent hosts.
Anyone doing Spiti circuit would enjoy here more than kaza with your group!
