STAR A-ONE HOME STAY

Not sure why they run a restaurant when they don't want to serve people. We were staying at Tanwar BnB unfortunately their kitchen was closed so we decided to have breakfast at star A-one and the owner was quite rude for no reason and wouldn't let us order. He refused to take orders and serve us while he was clearly serving other people in the restaurant. The other night my friends who went for dinner here faced the same rude behaviour from the owner. Clearly from service perspective they don't even deseve a single star.

The rudest guy in Shimla. Denied food (was serving it to others) to a group (predominantly girls) at 9.30 pm.

Surprisingly excellent accommodation for the budget price.
The room service, to the quality, cleanliness of the room, bedding washroom was excellent.
There is no balcony or view of the valley from the windows though from any of their rooms.
The owner displayed great hospitality by even allowing 3rd person / extra bedding in the same budget.
The attached restaurant had basic but good and tasty food for again budget price.
This homestay is just a walkable distance from ISBT Shimla new bus stand.
Happy to chose this accommodation every time in Shimla

The owner was very rude n clearly refuse to serve food n tea to us.
We stayed in tanwar b&b n star a one were serving food.tanwar people were very good but star a one was very dissatisfied.

Hotel service is good staff is very cooperative rooms r very comfortable n hygiene food is tasty in a very reasonable rates

Newly open, vgood service, good food, supportive staff, beautiful location, definitely recommend.

It was an enjoyable stay here with descent price. The homestay is just 150m away from new Bus stand. The food was delicious. The behaviour of the staffs and owner were very nice. Would love revisit here on my next trip to Shimla.

These people were rude and lied to us, saying they had no room. Finally we went to 10 hotels, and the bus station hotel called them to arrange a room for us and they said they indeed had one. Wont forgive them for laughing at us when we walked in and saying no room and turning away from us, when it was just a lazy lie. Not the right people to be in the accommodations industry.
