One of the most decent, beautiful and historic properties in Manali.
The owner himself Mr. Kang is a humble, polite and an amazing human being.
If you are looking for something out of the box and seeking peace amidst the beautiful Kullu Valley, this has to the best place to be at.
Highly recommended for a luxurious stay.

Had a beautiful experience of stay at Kang’s estate.
We are a family of 5 (2 kids and nanny), had to book 2 rooms at the estate which has a total of 5 rooms. We were happy to be the only group at the estate and learnt that they usually have one group at a time only (perhaps not guaranteed but I was told).
It’s Located high on the slope of the mountain, in an isolated spot with Apple orchards and pine trees in the front and sides. The best part is the 180 degree panoramic view of snow capped mountains in the winter (when we went). Great views from the patio and all the rooms!
Inside, the house is luxurious, extremely spacious, boasting of 4 fire places (one in living and dining, others in the maharaja and maharani suite).
To complement the great house, is great staff team. The property manager, Rajneesh, is spot on with any requests you may have and his own suggestions if you’d like. Even offered to drive us to a nearby must visit restaurant for its local cuisine thali. The kitchen team of 2 were dishing out great meals (mostly go if you are ok with spending all the time at the estate and venturing out little). The caretaker is this ever smiling docile uncle who was happy with pride looking at us sporting traditional Himachali caps!
We will definitely be visiting again, perhaps in a larger group this time!

Away from hustle of city, not only the villa but Naggar as a location has beauty of its own! The views, nature, greenery & a cherry on cake is the food here it is just delicious!
The best part got me and my friends was the deck area with bonfire & barbecue!

Very bad experience with this property no power backup in this property, Below average food, slow service, they don’t have laundry facility they r charging so much money for this property which is worthless.

Pathetic experience, currently staying in this property and its a nightmare. No change of toiletry, no ventilation in the rooms, no electricity and they dont have adequate power backup, less staff to look after, and breakfast is v sad. (not even basic cereals, fruits and juices). Feel like being duped have paid around 2.5 lacs for 4 nights and its a sheer waste of money and aweful experience

Have an amazing stay with complete luxurious vintage experience in the middle of nature.

Anyone going to Manali should definitely stay at Kang Estate. From the views to interiors to delicious food, everything is just perfect at this property. Anyone looking for peaceful and an amazing holiday, should book this house for sure.

1) Exotic Location
2) Courteous staff
2) Tasty food
3) serenity
Cons
1) Your own vehicle is required else it is very difficult to access
2) No clarity about food eg it was mentioned in voucher that breakfast is included in the package, but no clarity on type and quantity of breakfast.
3) eventhough breakfast is free, bottle of water given with breakfast is chargeable. And price of one bottle is rs 75/- which we feel quite expensive. At 2 km there is village where you get water bottle at MRP of Rs 20/-
4) It's a G+2 bungalow but no Lift so a bit difficult for people with walking disability.
5) we booked standard room no 3 which is on second floor. There is lot of disturbance of pigeon. Also no proper ventilation for toilet area for this room. Though there are small windows, they are almost inaccessible.
6) steep slop at entrance makes it difficult to commute without vehicle

But the experience was so bad that we had to leave aside our work & be after Vista staff continuously for almost a week.

It was awesome experience to stay at property. Really liked food cooked by Rajneesh and his team, very well taken care of our stay by these people. Well maintained villa with amazing view of mountains from its deck area. Highly recommend villa.
