You walk through vineyards and natural beauty surrounding you throughout the treck.
The temple is also worth experiencing as it shows beautiful architectural work done by people to make it.

When I saw the Lord Shiva statue, my word and my feeling was "Adbhut. I'm in Heaven". Stoned Kumbh Shiv Temple is among the best temple I've ever seen.

Satya Bhusan ji started it all back in 1980, When he dreamt a shiva temple in his dream and came up with an idea of making it a reality. A temple made solely by concrete and wires, more than 15 lakhs have been spent for the formation of this temple till date. He did this on his ancestral land, did it all by himself & only sought help of locals for electric connection.

Road very narrow.you need to extra careful when you drive to temple. Only one vehicle can move.in any direction.but temple is good.worth visiting.

Nice small temple in Chail, Himachal. The complete structure is made of stones and concrete has been used for the decor. You will see the use of some decorative items in this temple.

The route to the temple is very beautiful through a narrow path amidst the deodar trees.

View from here is great. The shiva statue built here is a little unique. This is not some old temple. It’s actually an imagination of a local man who saw this temple in his dreams and started building it on its own.

A good place for a quick visit. Not many tourists are seen here so it’s a rather calm place.

Amazing creativity by a Mr. Satya Bhushan ji who single handedly converting his dream into reality. I would like Big Salute to him. Really it's awesome. Must Visit again.

It's an incomplete yet heartful effort of a one man army whose diligence and hard work reflects in every detail of the vicinity. I highly recommend a visit as a tribute to this unknown passionate soul. A praiseworthy effort that needs sincere praise and recognition. So do visit and spread word about this hidden gem in the hills of Kandaghat.

A beautiful stone temple, all a hand made Artistic stuff built single handedly by one man since 1980. A stone made narrow cave runs underneath and across the temple which is quite exciting. Way to the Temple is a thrilling trek of about 1 kilometer from Janedghat through a dense forest area which leads onto the top of the hill village known Bhalawag. On the other side of the temple one can clearly see the Shimla town which becomes even more mesmerizing like a milky way in the evening. Temple becomes a far more sacred place because its a mix of creativity and wonder in the midst of pure nature standing on the faith of very simple and down to earth man who has spent his whole life to create a masterpiece.

The temple is not at all maintained. The structures here are getting broken. The road to the temple is just 1 car wide, impossible to give pass if you encounter another car in opposite direction.

Inspired by a dream, 64 year old man Satya Bhusan single-handedly on his ancestral property build shiv mandir over 40 year.

According to Bhushan, he had started building the structure in 1980 on his ancestral property without any financial help from others after seeing a shiv mandir in his dream, he spends at least four hours at the mandir daily as still he think it's unfinished yet.
Stoned Kumbh Shiv mandir perched on top of a peak serene spot, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city of bhusan's ancestral property in the himachal pradesh's small hill station named chail in Solan.

Being made of solely cement and metal wires, the mandir is colourless. Be it Shiva’s dreadlocks, the snakes that circle his body or even the marigold flowers used to give a decorative touch to the temple. Even Jata of shiva is being made up of Stones and metal.

A unique result of 30 yrs'painstaking labour by a man possessed by a dream, this temple dedicated to Lord Shiva must be visited if only to admire how waste and out of use material can be fruitfully utilised to give shape to a Divinity. Perfect obeisance to the Great Bairagi! (A Temple in my dream)

Well.most of the people are not going to like this place because here you won't get any views (talking with experience because i heard people saying stuffs like "there's nothing special inside just some sculptures and all") but if there is an artist inside you then you'll definitely praise the work of this man (SATYA BHUSHAN) who single handedly made this temple dedicated to lord Shiva.he dedicated 38 years of his life making this temple fulfilling his dream with so much hard work and patience is really a thing to appreciate.talking about the place its on kufri-chail road after 7kms a sharp left turn (very narrow road) will take you to this place.if you are good in driving then only take your four wheeler to this place else it would be better if you park your vehicle to main road to avoid any kind of trouble.
