I recently had the pleasure of staying at the picturesque Hotel Facing View in Shimla, and I must say, the breathtaking views it offers are simply unforgettable. Nestled amidst the serene landscapes and misty mountains, this hotel is a tra retreat that provides an ideal getaway from the bustling city life.
One of the standout aspects of Hotel Facing View was undoubtedly its staff. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally attentive. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, and their genuine smiles and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home.

The hotel's restaurant was a true delight for the taste buds. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, ranging from local Himachali cuisine to international favorites. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Each dish was prepared with care and precision, using fresh and high-quality ingredients. Whether it was the aromatic flavors of the local delicacies or the familiar comfort of continental dishes, every meal was a culinary journey worth savoring.

Worm welcome by staff with water n juice. Amazing day at hotel n cooperative staff n they have friendly nature.food which we don't like n we complin about it then they cook food of our choice as we r marwadi we like spicy food they cook again n not even charge extra for that.

Before we check-in we asked availability for 3 days, manager said, we have availability for 3 days, but after 2 days of staying, they said for today our entire room is booked. You have to checkout today. In bathroom very slow water force. Bucket full in 30 minutes.

But Resturant service was very very good, food are also very good only manager service and room service was poor. To take medicine, the receptionist asked for a glass of water, After repeatedly asking for water, the water did not come.

It's was a pleasure to stay at sukh Sagar regency.very humble staff.nice neat ad clean.tasty food.overall memorable stay.

My apologies at the outset, since this review was meant for the place which we stayed on the previous night.
We have had a rather nice experience at SUKH SAGAR REGENCY, though our stay was just for the night.
Hotel has a great location and the view from the room was breathtaking, including the view of a train emerging out of the tunnel just above the valley.
The redeeming feature of this hotel is the unobtrusive and excellent courtesy of all staff at the front desk and restaurant.

Food too was very authentic, tasty and served hot on table. For the break fast we were served hot paranthas with achar and dahi, as promised in the previous evening.

Hotel is situated at a very beautiful spot (6 km before actual Shimla city), it's the starting point almost of Shimla (one get to avoid city traffic chaos), a beautiful green hill opposite room, a very peaceful place and green view from the room (see photos). Rooms are good (king size bed, standard mattress, complimentary mineral water, a sofa, TV etc), room services is also good as they refresh room nicely when you are away. Rooms are spacious in comparison to Shimla hotels. Restaurant in the hotel is good with only veg options and decent breakfast options (idli, jam, toast, upma, juices etc). Service is restaurant is amazing. Toilet (pot) to me was not as clean as I would have liked, so 1 point reduced because of that. Overall, beautiful family hotel with grocery, medical, stationary close by.

The hospitality of this hotel is very good and all staff especially the restaurant staffs are very friendly and is ready to help us in all situations at any time of the day. The trainee staff was always active and asks for serving us. The view from hotel is very good. The view from our room was very good and the night view is the best one. The room had a balcony, but beware of monkeys. The room was very spacious. It had tea, coffee & milk powders, sugar, hair dryer, electric kettle, intercom. The bathroom had hot water, moisturizing cream, shampoo, soap and towels. The Reception area had a grand look.

The Valley View outside the hotel is amazing.

Very nice place to stay. Especially we loved the valley view. One concern was the restaurant is pure veg and theres no good non veg hotels in nearby location.

I don’t like food.food ok ok.only veg available and room service is very slow I have call them 5 to 6 time no one answered room also ok,

Our room also has a nice view from our balcony and I liked it very much.

Room heater (AC) and washroom hot water is centrally managed and made available from 6-10, both morning and evening. Room and washrooms are good.

Spread of the food was decent and taste was good too. Staff was polite and helpful.

Property needs a lillte maintenance/renovation.

The lobby and the view from the room is good. The furniture is bit old. The restaurant served veg dinner no non veg options. Good breakfast. The blankets and quilt was not much clean. Service was not fast enough

Breakfast and Dinner were very nice and there was a good variety of food. We had reached the hotel very late and the hotel had kept our dinner packed as we had reached very late. Thanks to the Restaurant chef and staff.
The primary reason for giving an OK rating (i.e 2star) is rooms.
We had stayed in rooms that are very next to the restaurant. The rooms were not maintained well and these were stinking of tobacco. Restrooms in these rooms were not that good too. Please avoid these rooms and probably check the rooms before occupying them.
The rooms we stayed in are no way near a 3-star hotel standard.
But room heaters in these rooms are very good.

It's not a good hotel. The rooms have a really bad smell and there is no proper supply of water in the bathroom.

This hotel is well maintained but food is very bad tasteless. Don't order any food from inside there is one Dhaba at the entrance of this hotel go there. Thank me later.

Peaceful location, good views n near to taradevi railway station so you can also enjoy toy train. Polite staff, parking place is big enough.

We'll experience was awesome.the hotel is located in enter before some km of mall road.
The rooms were simple and suspicious and some facility were given as a water kettle, some coffee, milk powder and sugar pouches were kept;I felt like it's a good thing as who wish to drink they can make their own.
Bathroom was clean and have kept all facility as tissue, water spray, wash basin, etc.
Now coming to the view it's just awesome while you wakeup you can see such a beautiful view of hills and sun rays give u warm and the wind keep you cool
I am just explaining the things what I felt but on a note what I experienced was superb.
The food was also delicious
The staff was good polite.
Lastly I want to say it was a great experience family friendly place.

Hospitality is top notch and food was really good. Ambience was so good. Definitely recommend this place for stay in Shimla.

Stayed for 24 hours, rooms was nice and clean, hotel staff was very cooperative, at a good scenic location along with decent parking which you hardly find in Shimla.

Fantastic clean, hygienic and spacious place just on outskirts with scenic views from rooms away from city congestion.
Being on outskirts also means very reasonably priced. Room service and breakfast buffet was fantastic however what would make us visit again is Mandeep’s customer service.
We forgot our foreign made charging lead and called hotel upon reaching home. Mandeep happily located it and couriered it free of charge next day! Amazing customer service and a very kind gesture.

It was a very nice experience to stay here. Staffs are very good, humble and helpful. The valley view was awesome. Foods are good. Overall it was a beautiful experience. If coming to shimla must book for it. It is at taradevi, shimla. Shimla is 10 km from here. Shops are available near the hotel area.

The hotel is located right next to Tara Devi Station. Mall road is just 20 minutes by road. Perfect location. Spacious and clean room. Beautiful view from the balcony. Friendly and polite staff. Parking available. Arrangement for drivers available. Their owner arranged everything as he promised - In fact a lot more than what we asked for. Would higly recommend!

Starting with positives-

1. Location is very nice. The rising sun, deodar trees, shimla train is the picture from the room.
2. Plenty of parking available though they have mentioned it is on owners risk.
3. Location is just before the town starts so not crowded.
4. Rooms clean and spacious.

Not so good-

1. The room was spacious but very suffocating. The staff did not tell before hand that the AC is controlled by them including switching it on or off. Could not sleep the whole night and the windows do not open.

2. The toilet seat is very uncomfortable. Small bathroom.

3. Room not worth the price.

Did not have food etc so cannot comment on that.

Hotel is nice and hotel to shimla mall distance almost 8km. Hotel staff is very co-operative. Just food was disappointed for me.

Nice place, close enough to Shimla yet far enough to avoid crowding. Room was good but they do need to replace the mattresses which are worn out with age

The hotel does tick a lot of boxes.i live in and out of hotels and can vouch that this one is a great pic because everything works in harmony. Location, food, staff. Very neat and clean hotel to stay. The hotel is lift equipped and has very courteous staff. Grand reception and seating, spacious rooms and very tidy washrooms. It gives you a very good vibe just as you enter the place. Our booking for the hotel was incidental as we were stuck in a heavy traffic jam to shimla so had to stay there for a night but we really found this place beautiful and very comfortable. Special thanks to the owner Mr. Khaira for being really helpful.

I stayed here for 2N, hotel & rooms were cleaned, facilities were gud, complimntry water bottles, food was tasty, overall experience was quite good, Suggestion: book rooms directly through hotel, dey will provide upgradtion too if available, Remember its far from mall road if you are going to mall road spclly in peak season - dont take it as 20 min.s distance from hotel, this will take approximately 2-3 hrs. Bcoz of traffic.

Very well maintained and developed property in Shimala. Hygienic rooms, toilet and food. The quality of food is best. Room service and staff behaviour is great. Amazing nature view from room. Overall recommended for stay if you can visit to Shimla.

Wao location and serving food is good here but little slow in service otherwise it's ok.heater is not working while I travelled there.food tasty here nashta is good here and having a food here much likely.so goos must go

Rooms are simple and sober. Polite staff. Great view from the rooms and most of all rooms are worth the price you pay for it. Just an improvement suggestion to the hotel, please allow free access to the A/c or Heater whatever it is.
