Sunnymead Estate

Sunnymead is the ideal homestay. It is the host, Madhavi’s, residence and has many homely touches. It is beautifully decorated with lots of family archives scattered around. The hordes of books scattered around the property make it a heaven for any bibliophile. Madhavi is a superbly gracious host who offers a superb menu for the meals, courtesy the chef Madhu. Madhavi is a fount of local knowledge and it was a delight to spend time with her. Highly, highly recommended!

Was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. The food was amazing and the hospitality was extraordinary. Madhavi was very friendly and we had a blast with the dogs the rooms were wonderful as well. Would definitely recommend this place to other people

In each and every manner, be it the convenient location, the stunning beauty of the cottage, the lovely garden outside or the most elegant decor inside!
Never knew such well maintained properties exist in India.

Nicest place in Shimla. Superb Bungalow with heritage articles, gorgeous history & charming decorations. Simple yet delicious food made by Madhu.
Great Hospitality by Madhavi. She is an amazing, intelligent, fun loving person.
Do think about staying at Sunnymead if you are going to Shimla.
Would definitely visit again if happen to go Shimla.
