Sunset Point

Parking is very far so we have to travel walking and no public transport available and it's very far and just a simple place but the view was awesome bikes are allowed but if you're willing to travel by car you have to cover few km by walking.

It is a very quiet and peaceful place. You can enjoy long tracks with clean air and refreshing environment and also enjoy the beauty of nature. It is a sunset point so you can see a beautiful sunset here. That time you will feel good.

The washroom was not clean and smelled very bad.

Place is worth visiting, half an hour's walk from the Heritage market, beautiful view on the way. Sunset point in itself is very well developed, presenting a Panaromic view of the hills and the valley below and sunset view is breathtaking.
Must watch.

It's a tourist place and the weather is great. This is a place for couples to enjoy with family members and friends but always remember you can reach before 4.30p.m because the sunset starts around 5.30 pm and between parking to sunset around 2km distance.

Its small place, good to visit if you are already in Kasauli, but not worthwhile to plan to visit from other city for just watching the sunset point.

Its a very nice hill station.
I went there on september and it was just mesmerising. The weather was just perfect.
The sunset point is incredibly beautiful.
Because its under army cant its very neat and clean.
There are some monkeys there so beware and dont give them anything to eat.
The side desks are also good to spend aome quality time there.
In just 2 hours the weather changed 10 times.
So its a very beautiful place.

No food item available and your used products don’t throw anywhere! Enjoy with friends and families here…! You must have strength because Walk distance is long…! Just off your phone and enjoy with freash air and new place

One of the best places to visit in weekend. Kasauli is one of best hill station to visit in Himachal Pradesh. Sunset point is to die for. One could get such a great view.

This place is very peaceful and great to look over mountains while listening to the songs of wind. Good place to sit with family.

This point is why I love coming to kasauli again & again.

The vibe of this place is just so serene & sunsets are as usual magical.

That soothing view, seeing the sun go down with your eyes, witnessing the changing shades of the sky, it all seems unreal everytime and nothing less than a beautiful painting of a supremely talented artist.

You can miss anything in kasauli, but not the sunset here.

When it was hard to spend a day at the office, this trip gave me a little bit of freshness. We actually had so much fun and travelled a couple of places and they all were really fresh. I would say "PURE OXYGEN".

Just like other sunset points on the hills, it's a beautiful place.there are some swings and other things for kids therebis a washroom too which is surprisingly tidy.

One of the awesome places i have ever been.so peacefull, away from the city.its really close to Chandigarh and adjoining areas so one can also go for one day trip

It was a very nice experience. But I recommend youngsters to go to Lovers point. Its hardly 1km ahead, short trek from Sunset point. U ll forget everything, the view is that awesome

It's located on a hill.
The monkey point is also very close to it.
You must reach there with sufficient time in hand to enjoy the view and click pictures of it.
While coming back you can also visit the small adjoining market to it.

Good place but due to pollination in lower areas you'll see haze when looking towards horizon. This place has swings, slides for kids and benches for all to rest. There's public toilet here too. This place is kept clean by hard working people.

Must visit point. The view was best but the place was little croded. Also make sure you check the clouds as when we visited clouds blocked the sun but still the view was really great

Location: It is located at the end of the upper mall road. Busses and cabs are available at the place so transportation is very easy.

Quiet and nice place to visit. Maybe due to covid restrictions there were less people around but If you are lucky enough, like we were and there are less people, you'll hear pisthurism.

Beautiful spot to watch the sun set over what is a usually hazy horizon. The bridle path leading to the spot is not always open. We were lucky that it was.
There are many other spots to watch the sun set in Kasauli.

The sunset view is truly amazing from here but during weekends the place gets a bit crowded.
If you want to relax away from noise, pollution and crowd, a weekday will be a better idea.
If you move towards the Gilbert Trail there's a sunset point around 300 metres ahead. A great spot with fewer people.
The atmosphere is awesome and the scenery is quite captivating, don't forget to bring your camera.

When you reach here, you realize you've not seen this daily phenomenon for years, and how you take nature's beauty for granted maybe.

It's a good to walk on Gilbert trail in kasauli.it leads you to the base of monkey point temple.but the army does not allow you to use this approach.in my opinion they should allow

A nice (but crowded) place to watch the sunset in Kasauli. The entire valley is visible from the sun set point.

Basically Kasauli sunset point is under contentment area but free for visitors by a single entry at checkpoint. You have to walk around 500-600 meter after parking your vehicle before checkpoint.

The height is approximately 1800-2000 meter above from sea level. Easily you can see Kalka, parwanoo and Chandigarh city from here.

Magical view of valleys and hills where sun will be going to set is fascinating.there is a small park too.

Plan your visit before sunset usually you can spend 1-2 hours there. Just take some snacks from market before going and enjoy.

Do not forget to bring your camera!

It is a amazing place, you can see a amazing sunset from here I think it is a best sunset ever I seen, you have to visit at least it is one time in life just come with friends family and enjoy the sunset. Just buy some snacks and come there and enjoy sunset with your snacks.not reaching a place it is a easy not too much hard you have to walk around 600 m from the parking area.

Good place to visit.
Premises is very neat and clean.
It was really a good experience to walk through out the premises.

Nothing much wow about this place although the way upto this place is nice. You can sit back and relax and enjoy the view. There is a see saw where you play for while. The view is good but that's it nothing else. If you are into watching the views then it's great although I found nothing special.

Example of swach Bharat is set by this small hill station. The army and air force has maintained it with absolute sincerity.
