Best cafe at Manali. We tried chicken momos, fish, cocktails and mocktails. Taste is really nice but Atmosphere is medium and rate is little higher. If you have good company then visit once. Staff is very friendly.

Definitely must place to go, fast service, tasty cuisine, extremly friendly staff, they have also perfect alc drinks.

Great time at your place, came once for the gig, out of curiosity. Ended up coming every following day! The man is sweet and warm, the food is great. Small details go a long way in a café. Suny has definitely that business fiber. He takes the time to talk to his customers and he's very genuine as a person. I'm recommending a 100%

Over priced & hyped place. Chicken Schnitzel was pathetic, Hummus was bitter & the veg sizzler was ok.

Place is so chill, manager is super friendly and helped us find all the sweet spots to hang out, highly recommend

Overrated.
The waiter gave us the wrong order after making us wait for ~40 minutes, even though we were the only people in the cafe. When we pointed out the error, he took the order back and made us wait another 20 or so minutes for our correct order. When we finally did get our food, it was cold and bland.
10/10 would not revisit, and definitely would only recommend to people I dislike in order to waste their time and money.

Well the place might be pretty fun when there are people inside it. But when I visited it was almost empty,
There was live music and that was the only good thing about it (apart from the temprature, which was comfortable and there was heating inside)
Ordered tomato soup, which was average, and a sandwich which was below average.
Tea was okay and lemon tea had lemon in it.
Everything cost at least 1.5 times what it cost in a non-touristic place, but i guess that's because manali is a tourist place.
Seating is plastic chairs, which is okay, but was squeaky, for me.
All in all i can summerise, the best thing about the cafe was live music, where singer sounded like James blunt.

Each place in Manali is one of its kind but the places like sunshine cafe are good to go for breakfast sit and enjoy your meal.

An amazing cozy cafe in Old Manali with an extensive menu of food and beverages. The food is good and the service is fast. The host is warm & welcoming.
They have plenty of seating inside as well as outside (on the porch as well as overlooking the river) and the vibe is lit!
Various artists perform here thus making it a great place to hangout, enjoy good food and listen to all kinds of music! (They have open mics here as well.)
Must visit when in Old Manali!

Not a clean place, also the staff were not clean. Had stomach pain after having food here. Worst place to visit.

Wow, wow, wow, i been sunshine cafe by accidentally, the vibes @ sunshine cafe is really good, than expected, the live music was really good, food was perfect, the owner suny is the best guy for host goodvibes, cafe looks very simple and nice decoration with picture, i recoment this cafe highly for everybody for good fun and amazing food,

Overpriced place. Disappointed with their service. Inspite of charging highly, the service was pathetic and food was very average. The waiters were busy chatting and roaming instead of serving us. Bad experience. I will suggest avoiding this place if you are in Manali.

This sunshine cafe have one of best food in oldmanali, as wail as live music is best in town, try there milkybarchapati and chicken cordon blue, the guy called suny is best for recoment food, and taking order, sunshine staff looks pro than other cafe

Super nice Cafe, you can sit outside, good vibe, and good food! And the people who work are Sooo nice, I can truly recommend it:)

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

had a really bad experience here, Owner got stoned/drunk and started babbling things to us. We tried to send him away respectfully by saying and I quote, "Thankyou so much bhaiya, we will let you know if we would need anything. "
We kept saying this to him and also requested waiters around to settle him down inside, they tried but he did not go inside. At last one of us boldly said that please go in under a minute or all of us would leave your restaurant immediately, but as he was drunk he could not maybe understand or ignored all our concerns. We had to leave after that, but one of us went inside to pay the bill and he took his good 10-15 minutes to bother him till he actually let him out. Ofcourse there were waiters who apologised to all of us but surely could not do anything as they were employed to him.
I went in after reading lots of good reviews of this place but had an awful experience and till the owner changes, PLEASEEEE DONOTTTT go there.

Very beautiful place. I had the schnitzel there and it was so tasty. I don't remember the name of the live singer there but his voice was just amazing. Doesn't really have any river views but the place itself is very pretty.

Amazing it is, the order does take sometimes, because everything is freshly cooked, you can see that attention to. Detail in pizza and lasagna. 5/5 for the food and the vibe:)

I went there with my husband we ordered falafel platter and there was hair in hummus and also we ordered chicken tikka masala and they prepared paneer tikka masala.we informed one of the staff who actually took our order said mujhe nai pata. Moreover they charged us entire amount of falafel platter that had hair in it. So experience was not good for me

We had trout (olive oil-garlic) and a sunshine burger.together with a pina colada and mai tai

i would give 4 stars but compared to the area its 5!

service is super motivated and in a good mood! Atmosphere is also a plus!

the trout was super delicious, melting in the mouth but a bit more difficult than usual to eat because of the marinade on top.the sides of the fish were also super great, way above the average!
the Burger: fries were okay, the ketchup too.the burger was very tasty, the source also.the bun was soft but tasty.portions were big enough for us.the cocktails:
the mai tai was fruity and (quote of my wife: made me happy)
the pina colada was not the same as you would expect.more boring.

I’ve been traveling all around India and Sunshine is by far my favorite restaurant/cafe/venue. The food is so delicious (I’ve ordered a lot of things) and there’s always the best crowd and entertainment playing. You have to go here if you come to Manali!

Sunshine cafe Manali is one of the best cafés in Old Manali with beautiful live music, a perfect cozy atmosphere and wonderful hosts who will try every mean to make you feel at home. The environment is amazing and you will not regret going there.

The food here is great. The prices are on the upper side and the quantity can be deceiving at times, but it is sufficient for solo travellers. Good place to sit by yourself in the afternoons. The staff are welcoming and polite.
Overall good experience and I love the name.

Great place for an easy hangout with friends and family.
They have live music everyday and one can sit till wee hours in the morning.
