Take me to Himalayas - Outdoors, Expeditions and Tours

This snow leopard expedition is by far the most difficult trip I have made. BUT all was made easier with the amazing guide and his team. We managed to sight and photograph the snow leopard on the 2nd day of the expedition.

Not satisfied with just one sighting, the scanners were sent out early in the cold cold morning to find more photography opportunity.

Before coming on this expedition, I was warned by friends that I may not get my shot of the snow leopard and to enjoy this expedition and take it as a journey.
I must say the guide/team made the journey a bearable and enjoyable one.

Happy New Year! Had the most awesome trip year end, being in the picturesque mountains and being able to photograph the Elusive Snow Leopard, the Red Fox, the Ibex, Blue Sheep much thanks to Kamal and his team.
What was heartwarming is the helping hands that is always there whenever we had difficulty coping with the cold n altitude. In short.we were very well taken care of.

The smiles of all when we saw the snow leopard was a very special moment, very thankful for the hardwork of the scanners.

All in all, feel very blessed and safe in the hands of Take me to Himalayas.yes, will be back again!

One of my friend recommended this group for hiking and we went to chandernahan trek with them. It was a completely breathtaking experience with them. They managed everything from stay to transport very well. Both Tarun and Kamal are very friendly and cheerful. We had a great fun with Take me to Himalayas.

I traveled to Spiti in June Month with my Brother and Sister, we talked to Kamal Bhai and he is so full of Spiti, then we decide to took package from TAKE ME TO HIMALAYAS and it was all worth it even more than that. I have done Spiti Winter expedition from 25th Jan, 2019 from 31st Jan, 2019 with “Take me to Himalayas (#takemetohimalayas). This trip was jointly organised by #takemetohimalayas and Highway to Himalayas (#highwaytohimalayas). These person had successfully organised the expedition very beautifully in view of Safety and Security. Kamal who is the owner #takemetohimalayas and Serkong Homestay at Kibber, Kaza, Spiti (@cafe_takemetohimalayas) who accompanied with us during the entire trip for our safety and making the event successful inspite of bad and harsh weather condition. He never lost his patience and always motivate us during the trip. They have arranged excellent accommodation. The cost was very genuine and up to the Benchmark. Really, I had a very amazing experience with them. I strongly recommend them for any expedition. So lets Cheers. ….

Spiti Valley is a must do. They also happen to have an absolutely delightful homestay in Kibber which is in Spiti Valley. Mr Kamal also happens to be an amazing travel partner and will help with all kinds of treks.

Since my stay at serkong has just been a week after kanamo base camp,
We’ve been watching that cave, Shimokabhda,
right from foothills but bang opposite to kibber and planning to climb atop through the trail that goes from Chicham.
High five to our birthdays KD!
Climbing steepness was harsh for but along with the constant consumption Kamals never ending enthusiastic talks and chocolates, made it to the top. The view from the cave and crossing it onto the other side, the view of all the villages can't put it down in words.
One must go and feel it.
And,
Last but the not the least the wedding we attended at chicham was just an icing on the cake.
One beautiful day to be remembered.

I along with my two friends went to Kanamo Peak trek with this agency. And by far that has been the most satisfying thing I have ever done. And a big part of making it as beautiful as it was is Take me to the Himalayas. I mean from the first time I discussed with Kamal that we want to do that to the time we came back It was amazing. From arranging every little aspect required for the same to pushing us at each step that we can do it. Upon that, we were only 3 (along with 2 from the agency and a guide) rather than a usual group of around 15-20 people which makes it rather less serene. And of course the tasty momos we had at the base camp was the most amazing food at the most amazing place. Cheers! To kamal and his team! Will be going for another adventure with them very soon.

Our trip to Spiti exceeded our expectations on every level. Spiti in itself is beautiful but Spiti in combination with Kamal (KD) and Dinesh made it fun filled and exciting. KD kept giving proper suggestions and advice to sustain the extreme climate. His indepth knowledge made us live the place to the fullest.
