Beautiful temple at the top of tarna hill, has a park to it in the premises, the temple has great historic significance

One of the mind-relieving and serene place on this planet. I always re-energize myself and feel blessed whenever I visit this religious place.

Tarna mata mandir, or Shyamakali mata mandir holds a history that atleast some 200 300 years ago the Sen king of Mandi won a war and on that occasion build this temple. This is at some height from Mandi town and from here you can see the whole town. The temple is very well maintained, clean and basic washroom facilities available at a nearby park outside temple. From the bus stand or Indira market area one can easily find a rikshaw at 50-60 to reach there but may find difficulty to find one while coming down. There are steps to directly come down through lanes and houses but a first timer may find the route confusing and get lost. A Peaceful place.

Beautiful location and have positive wives surrounding the temple.also called as bheema kaali temple.

This is a very old Temple on Top of a hill. Car parking is available for those who want to drive others can use stairs.

Perfect place for visit. Must go for make your body refresh. The temple is just less than 3 km away from main market. Just chill & make your life amazing by practice a lot of journey.

My experience was good when I visit Tarna Mata Temple.
Only one point which i must have to mention a park situated near temple is very good condition but the cleanliness of park and temple surrounding is not healthy.
Overall is was a great time.

A Goddess temple situated on top of a hill between Mandi town. Have a beautiful garden around it. A very peaceful place good for whole family. A place must for weekend.

This temple is situated at a distance of 2km from Mandi, himachal pradesh main market (Indira market). There are steep stairs that lead you to this very simple and peaceful temple. This has its own scenic beauty and whole of mandi can be viewed from this temple. It is a good place to rejuvenate your soul and mind.

The Tarna Devi temple is a divine shrine dedicated to Goddess Shyama Kali –incarnation of Goddess Parvati. Temple is perched at an elevation 300 feet above the sea level in the middle of the dense forest. Spectacular view of snow-capped mountains is one reason to be there.
The temple is also known by the name of the Shyama Kali Temple and was constructed way back in the 17th century. It is said that whatever is wished at the temple gets fulfilled. This temple also has many beautiful paintings of Gods, Goddesses and Gurus.
Inside the temple, there is a 3 faced statue of the goddess Kali and Mahishasuramardini People from around the world visit this place to seek the blessings of Shyama Kali from faraway places. Tourists will have to climb 305 stairs to reach the temple. Located on top of a hill, the temple provides a brilliant scenic view

The temple is devoted to Goddess Shyamakali (Tarana Mata). Devi is aradhya Devi of king of Mandi. Place is divine. There you can reach by a taxi or auto. Also there is shortcut by stairs. But as I visited temple on a hot sunny day. So I preferred auto. But while returning from temple I used stairs. Charges of auto will be approx 70 to 80

The temple of mata tarna devi is at top and the place is very nice I like to go to this place at evening.

Good temple located heigh in Mandi city. The view is great. The public or private transportation is not available. Go by personal vehicle or hire it. We hired auto in budget spending. The surrounding is not maintained.

Good place to visit full of positivity. Here a garden where we can spend our free time with family and friends
