The rooms are old. The location is also far from the main Shimla. The service is okay. The rooms are not properly maintained.

The stay was very good and the view from there was very beautiful and is in a super peaceful setting! The host Sunil is super kind and helpful and he helped us to find cabs at 9 pm as well to visit Mall road. Very accommodating host! Food is home-made but I feel like it should have been boiled a little more but apart from that, it was good! Rooms are clean and beds are huge, the bed sheets were a little short and did not cover the legs. But overall, would recommend to check this home stay! Perfect for a group of friends!

I stayed there for 02 nights with my family and we really enjoyed our stay. Ambience of the property was perfect, staff was very cooperative. Really recommended to others.

This newly and passionately built, neat and clean homestay is run by Mr Sunil Thakur and family, the location is picturesque and accessible by Sankat mochan road, parking facility is also available. Aloo pyaj parathas are a must have for breakfast. The valley view rooms have captivating scenery. The owners are humble and amiable. Overall a value for money BnB.

It was a mesmerizing experience over there. Yes the distance is bit far from the main road still it was worth staying there. If you are looking for a peaceful place and want to stay at a heavenly place this place is the one. And not the least, the host was very welcoming and well behaved. Also the food tasted like home and so fresh.

I visited Shimla last week. With the pleasant weather, Thakur homestay is a good place to stay. The rooms and surroundings are clean, nice view from the property. Mr Deepak Thakur is a nice person and gave good service to us.

We were a group of friends and stayed at the second floor. The view from the balcony or the rooms cannot be described in words, you get to see almost whole of Shimla directly from your rooms + some otger places as well. The cleaninless was top notch. The kitchen already has a lot of utensils to make use of.

Special thanks to Deepak g, the host of this beautiful building. He is a very friendly and easy going person. We did not face any troubles from his side. He also did some chores for us without any charges.

There's no fan/AC but nobody would feel the need for it. Shimla never gets warm enough for these kind of things.

The road to this place is a bit rough so that needs to be taken into consideration. But apart from that everything was great. You will enjoy every moment if you are a person who loves nature, peace and tranquility.
