I stayed hare with my family. Caretaker of this property is a female who is humble and professional. I would suggest if you are going to manali with your own vehicle then it is place for you.

This apple and tree lodge situated at rohtang road manali this is the place where you see the highest mountain over your rooms waterfall and you see in winters havey snowfall the best of the part of this lodge the views that's awesome yummy foods fresh food and many more things which you have to your journey. I recommend everybody one time visit at this place for better experience from mall road manali its times better than mall road there is best experience to live in hill station.
I am very thankful to this lodge to happy my journey and sweet memories.

One of the best Place to stay in Manali at kothi Valley on the way to Old Rohtang pass road. Mountain View form balcony is very Beautiful. Staff was halpful and food was Delicious

If you want to go trekking this is the top choice for you in Kothi! The Apple Tree Lodge is quite near to the trekking route, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, tasty and big portion of foods, and the guys work here are very polite and nice.

I wanted to see and experience snowfall fall. It was my very first visiting this place. The hotel is located in a very beautiful place called kothi. With snow covered mountains and a river. I stay there for 3 days. The nights were cold but the staff helped us a lot they provided us with heater and hot water bottle. Even the cafe had heating system available. The food was amazing which made my stay even better. I will definitely visit again very soon and also recommend this hotel.

Located in the midst of Pine trees and crisp blue sky, we had a wonderful stay at the Apple Tree. The balcony overlooks the beautiful apple orchard with occasional view of the livestock to remind of the country life. The staff and management were helpful, welcoming and swift with our requests. The room and linens were clean and the food was good too, given the limited supplies at the time of the year. Definitely a highly recommended establishment to avoid the rush of Manali.

I really liked my stay here. The view from the balcony is mind-blowing. If you also want to avoid the rush at manali, this is one of the best place for staycation. Stuffs are well behaved and food is also nice. I would like to visit again for sure.

Everything was very good during stay. The reception lady should be more polite and staff should be more efficient in communication and service delivery. Rest Everything was perfect.

Great location, beautiful snow covered mountain View from balcony, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff.

One of the few places to stay in serene Kothi village. Advantage of staying in Kothi - you can get to Marhi and Rohtang pass pretty quickly.
The hotel is right on the Old Road to Rohtang Pass. Very quiet place, with river nearby.
Kothi also has a nature park – Swarnim Vatika (just 1 km from this hotel).
The Rooms are good, clean and bedding provided is also good. Hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating.
We went when there was no snow, but it was cold and staff arranged for Bonfire (Rs. 500).
Would recommend this place for families and friends.

I loved the Apple tree Lodge - the location can't be beat! We had a spacious room with beautiful rohtang pass views from balcony and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff.my wife loved the breakfast service every day! We will definitely plan a return stay on our next visit!

There are a lot of pests inside the room.there are Cockroaches, kankhajura, big spider. When we called owner about the insects in the room, he doesn't do anything to remove the insects. There is no telephone inside the room for orders. We have to call on owners mobile to order food. Overall room was not good for living. Location of hotel was good and view is also nice. It's on rohtang road. So think twice before coming to this hotel.

Great place to stay our group went to stay there for few days and the staff was so nice and this place gave us great vibes and made our visit to kothi valley memorable, we also enjoyed the night with bonfire and the surrounding were covered with snow, the food was also delicious and steaming hot also during cold night, this place can do anything to make your visit easy and fun.

This is the last place to see local people and civilisation before Khoksar (which is after Rohtang)! Pick anything that you want, from here so that you are not stuck in limbo in the journey ahead.

Visited kothi for the first time, amazing place beautiful and raw. We ate at the apple tree, the food was warm and fresh. My kids liked the food. All in all good food and fast service, nice tableware.

The host of apple tree are very warm and jovial. It was an amazing stay, big windows, fresh air, beautiful skies and amazing service. Kothi village is blessed with beauty of mother nature. One of my best stay in manali, surely visiting this place again.

We stayed there for 6 days.and it was an awesome stay. View from the room is best in manali, actually it is kothi, a beautiful small village before Gulaba. There were few beautiful treks around the village. The food was awesome, special thanks to Nishu, for prompt and humble service. He arranged bonfire and candle light dinners only for us.
Personal vehicle or bike rent is advised, as it is 14 km from manali and 4 km from palchan. I would highly recommend this place for a quite and beautiful holiday in highly touristy place like Manali.

Best place to visit. I felt relaxed and comfortable there. Staff was friendly and hygienic. Everything was tidy. A great family lodge!

Fabulous place if you looking for a get away from the hustle bustle of Manali. Make sure you are stocked with your alcohol before you get here however rest is available. It's just 2 minutes walk from Gulaba point or the snow point. They have started paragliding here too. This point gives you all access to view, physical activities, food (we made it a point to have atleast one meal at the hotel) the food here is just great. As a non vegetarian i was really really happy!
The hotel has the best access and service is fabulous. Manish was the point person here for us and had a fabulous host feel. I will be coming back and would suggest people to come here too.
