The Attic Library

I stayed at Jyotsna's beautiful cottage for 5 nights and it was the most dreamy and inspiring residency/vacation. I loved the attic and the selection of books, from art books on typography to novels and zines with little notes between the pages. The balcony-kitchen overlooks a lovely villager's home and a view of the fields and mountains, and we loved hearing the daily chatter and mooing of the cows from the shed below. Coming to the room, it was super comfy + the wardrobe helped to feel more at home for our stay. I also loved all the bath supplies, that Jyotsna carefully selected from sustainable brands. But the most amazing part was the wheat fields right outside the house, with snow-capped peaks in the distance. I ended up staying in mostly, writing, drawing and taking photographs of the space and its gorgeous surroundings. Can't wait to go back someday soon.
A home away from home.

The perfect place to unwind in the mountains. Looks and feels like a dream. Had a great experience staying at The attic. The host has stocked the cottage with all basic amenities, super clean beddings and amazing book collection. Highly recommend staying here when in Bir.
