A typical Hptdc hotel delivers good food and large spacious rooms. Bedding was not done properly but still i would recommend it considering the value it offers.
You will find great deal of stay in the nearby camps for rs. 1500 per day apart from the their is long track to be explored of chansal hills. There is also popular pandav mandir. Once can visit their also.
Well located hotel. Ample and safe parking. Rooms linen and towels okish. Can be better. Washrooms need maintenance. Food simple and good. Bar good. Staff friendly. Garden needs attention and upkeep.
Unable to enter hotel due to late night as booking was done on phone but on arrival at their entry gate no one was there also premises was locked from inside, as this is a govt property so visitor may consider the timing before coming
Good rooms but lack of cleanliness. Bathroom lights r temporary.poor cleanliness. No privacy. You can easily disturbed by other rooms noise. TV sounds and even person snoring in those rooms. My first worst experience in Hptdc hotels. I always prefer them.
Visited Rohru last week and decided to stay at the hotel Chanshal. The hotel is run by HPTDC. The rooms are big, comfortable and with all the basic comforts. The inhouse kitchen serves good food and the staff is very humble and polite. I am sure on my next visit, again i m going to stay at the same place.
Last week we (me and my friend) were returning from pooh (after completing our winter spiti bike ride) and decided to go for chansal pass, so we headed towards rohru. At rohru we found this hotel. The property was clean, room charges were normal, staff were friendly. They also have lawn atached to room.
