The City View

Great location, really pleasant and clean room, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous.

We had a great experience here in the city view. Staff here is really friendly. Must visit with your family and friends

Awesome stay at city view shimla. Owner Ashish ji is very kind person. He helps us a lot. All staff members are good. Food is very delicious just like home. Room is neat and clean & the view from balcony is mesmerizing. In one words I can say: -A home in mountain with stunning view. Beautiful and approachable location near Sankatmochan Temple 6 km before Shimla. Very cooperative staff, Mr. Ashish the owner of this Hotel is very cool and Nice, neat and clean rooms, mini kitchen and delicious food, very normal charges, very good condition rooms and washroom with full facilities, hot and cold water. I like THE CITY VIEW HOTEL

I am so glad we chose to stay at this sweet homely place with a brilliant host and a generous chef/caretaker/provider/everything person, who will always serve you with a smile and tell you nothing but good old stories of the mountains. Thank you for the humbling experience, if we visit, we will be staying at the city view for sure.

The place is very simple and beautiful. My friend & I had such a relaxing time here with the gorgeous views. The owner & cook were very sweet and kind people, so accommodating with our needs & helped us book a taxi when we needed it. Highly recommend it to anyone who just wants a relaxing time, and there's the monkey temple nearby with a nice path through the woods. As women, we felt very welcomed & safe here:)

Super awesome location and view to enjoy from your rooms. Owner is very polite and humble. If you have no issue staying lil far fom main shimla then this place is worth to stay.

Had the most wonderful experience. I'd suggest anyone looking for a place that's pocket friendly and somewhat secluded with a wonderful view, this is the place to go to. The owner is vested and does his best to help you with anything you need. Food's all right too. Value for money is best how I'd describe it.

It was an awesome stay at "The City View". The view from the balcony was mesmerizing.

Stay with family at The city view was memorable. As the name goes the view of Shimla is beautiful from each room. The rooms are spacious and hygienic. And the food had a taste of Home. The tagline "home away from home" is apt for The city view'. Would definately visit again.

I just loved the aesthetic of the property. Rooms were also nicely made. Staffs were very sophisticated and friendly and always on their toes. The charm of the property was the scrumptious food. Accepted our order even at odd hours, that was a delight. Restaurant owner Mr. Aashish was gem of a person.

Absolutely stunning! This is a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy the company of nature and like me, are mesmerized by the seduction of silence.
Excellent home cooked food, helpful and genuinely good people the hosts are, super hygienic. Would highly recommend.
