Besides location everything else was amazing
Staff was helpful and polite even though we were noisy

A very nice hostel, visited in 2023 and the stay was very good. The only issue is we requested iron and was not provided. The time we were in manali it rained and most of our clothes were wet so on request iron was not available. Still other than that the service was good. Also the food there on the terrace cafe is a little expensive. But my experience in the hostel was very nice overall.

Basic hostel with good value private rooms as dorm rooms. The rooftop is a lovely area, they hand out quilted blankets to keep warm in the winter and there is a constant stream of travellers. The chicken thali was excellent and very good value. Beds were comfortable, and the dorms have excellent lockers. Very good

No Staff to help for luggage, Music not allowed in rooms too, Its feeeling like living in a hostel with Too much restrictions, no facility for Parking!
Overall its not for tourist people who came to enjoy!

I have been to this hostel in 2021 and came back after almost 2 years only to find that it still holds the same cleanliness, top notch hospitality and food is something that is par excellence. I have been to few other hostels too where they have a dorm system but not as clean and well kept as culture Nation. I have always felt at home being here. Perfectly located and a beautiful property to enjoy your time. Apart from dorms they do have personal rooms as well which is pocket friendly.

The staff is great, the food is tasty af, and the crowd is warm-hearted.
Vishvesh has been very accommodating. From a 1-day stay, we ended up staying staying 4 nights.

The location of the hostel is perfect if you are staying in Old Manali. The prices are cheap compared to other hostels. The rooms are good too. But the major issue is with the staff especially the manager. They least bothered about the guest and instead are busy playing cards and sitting inside the rooms. Had asked for the menu and the manager is like take it from the counter since he was playing cards. Now this is the kind of hospitality they provide.

I was there for 2 days.the place is very amazing.just self service due to being a hostel.food & breakfast is amazing.

Nitin bhai keeps you really feel like home throught your time there.

We stayed twice in 5 days of trip in two other room and every time the facilities ware upto the expectations and staff was very nice and humble.
Manager bhaiya was the nicest person I met in Manali.
We expected to meet with Pluto but because of winter season he wasn't there at the moment but next time I'll look forward.

One of the best hostels in Manali extremely safe for Girls and Groups of Friends. The dorms are spacious and Wooden in structure. The common are is the main USP of the Hostel which makes it a Huge plus point to enjoy the mountain view along with the High Speed Airtel 5G wifi which makes work from mountain an amazing experience altogether the facilities in this hostel is amazing along with the Fitness area and equipments they have available at the property

Amazing place, run by amazing people. It was our very first trip to manali and we really enjoyed our stay here. The food prepared by Baldev sir is also amazing. The rooms have all the required facilities and are maintained regularly. All in all, its a great place. Location is also quiet good.

The owners of this property are just pathetic.

Good place for stay, clean dorms -cheap, missing common area - they will close it by 11 pm. Food good but expensive. Single rooms are spacious

I just had a trip to Manali and culture nation provided the best service I could ask for. Firstly, the booking process was super easy and quick. Owners are great with their reservation process.
We really enjoyed the view from rooftop. The Staff is very friendly and kind, chill environment.
Everything was so amazing.
Special thanks to Baldev Sir (chef) for giving us quality service. He served us with everything which was required.
We reached super early at the destination still he welcomed us on rooftop (before opening time) and gave us blankets as it was cold early morning.
Also, The Food was very tasty + hygienic.
We got stomach infection when we had dinner outside, So we decided to stick with hostel's food only as it was light on our stomachs.
Must try in cafe - Veg Club sandwich, Rajma and rice, Cheese omlette, Tea, Veg thali and Pranthas. It was too good.
Had a great experience there, Would love to visit again ️

First planned to stay a few nights and ended up staying over a week. Really loved this place and the staff feels like family and is super kind and helpful. The beds are super confi, staff does clean every day, nice rooftop and perfect location. Can’t recommend this place highly enough

Actually I can straight press tge book button and confirm, but due to bad service, I decided not to do so. But confirmed that dormitories are available at that tine of my arrival.

Good location, at the centre of old manali street. Rooms are really good and spacious. Nitin and Baldev are great hosts. Awesome food cooked by Baldev and team, the tea here is one of the best I've ever had. Had some issues with WiFi initially but the hosts were really proactive in solving all the issues. We stayed here for 6 nights, worked from here and left with wide smiles on our faces. Loved the queen room.

Excellent facilities and excellent location of the property along with amazing food (The best in Manali) The dorm Bunk beds are clean and Furnished along with great mountain views of Old manali. The Wifi is high speed which is perfect for work from mountains along with the best food in Manali. Thanks a lot to Nitin Sir for the great service.
The best thing I found about the hostel is the Fitness area gym which which is amazing witb dumbells and yoga mat

They have such friendly staff and the best food by Baldev bhaiya and the rooms are clean and the best part is the cutest Pluto he is the heart of culture nation

Convenient and comfortable
+ Clean dorm rooms, polite crowd of people, conveniently located and amazing hosts. Always accomodating, and making sure I had a smooth experience. Has a great fun!

The owners were so friendly, we just sat at the cafe and joked and laughed all night long, together. Besides that, the vibe at the hotel was unique. Recommend going with your friends there.

I booked a bunk bed in Culture Nation in a rush on my to Manali from Ladakh. I went in not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised to eat a really good non veg thali on the night I landed in Manali, exhausted from a lengthy drive. It is a great place to meet young fellow travellers from different parts of India and other parts of the world.

If you are planning to come manali for workation or for solo or group travel then this perfect place to stay. The Hostel is in Old Manali and all the best cafe's are just 100 meter away from the hostel. Hot water is always coming for bath purpose, food is nice. Owner is very polite.

Some points I would like to mention-
Pros -
1) The location of the hostel is exactly the middle of the market
2) The hostel owner is a lady from Delhi she played the Role of Siddarth Malhotra's Mother in the Movie "Sherhshah" she is extremely polite and understanding
3) the family is from delhi - mother daughter - son - father
4) The hostel owners made an entire list of travel locations which me and my group of 10 friends could visit in the span of one week

Cons
None I can mention for sure

In spite of booking in advance for 2 months we got ground floor room. There were hair in washroom. Poor hygiene. At night blanket was itching we got rashes. Nobody answered call at night. Went to housekeeping told no extra blankets. Gave one from owner s room. It was not itching.
We stayed a day prior at vegabond Manali hostel which was so clean. This place is very over hyped. Plus ppl from terrace vomit after alcohol and it falls to ground floor near doorstep. Go at your own risks.

The food was so good and the Hospitality from the owners made it feel like home to me. Definitely a go to place to stay in Manali

TCN is located at an excellent location in old Manali. Most of the tourist places are easily accessible from the hostel.
The hostel dorms are excellently maintained. And the washroom is kept clean regularly. The food at the rooftop cafe is budget friendly and delicious.
Vishves has been most helpful during our entire stay.
Highly recommended to stay. This is a well managed hostel. 10/10

The view from the rooftop cafe was so mesmerising. And TE FRIENDLY DOG PLUTO- most unique services you can get at a hostel. Definitely recommend for solo trips. The bunk bed facility is also feasible

Beautiful space. Amazing location. Friendly management. And yes they have a cute dog named 'Pluto'. Don't think twice before choosing this place to stay.

We stayed in this place in the month of march (just before the pandemic). The way the terrace has been set up is really cool and brings out the vibe that you need. The staff and the owners of the property were awesome. It is run by a young lady (sorry couldn’t remember the name) who is supported by her mother. They also have a labrador named pluto who is the real MVP of the place. The vibe was so good that we ended up extending our stay. Worth the visit, would love to visit again.

The worst I ever had. All the information mentioned jn the app was wrong. No breakfast included, room cost has increased when I tried to pay at guest house. Especially, in winter season, the heater would be happened additional charges.

Located in the heart of Old Manali, makes cafe hopping easier. Private rooms are nice and well maintained. Staff is extremely friendly and their Labrador Pluto is the icing on the cake.

Very friendly staff. In a good location of Old Manali. Has a newer feel compared to other places.
Note the hot water is solar powered (which is great) however if the hostel is busy you might want to take an early shower. We did not have this problem staying in November.

Beautiful place. Very well managed by Kashika (owner and a sweetheart). Amazing food by Baldev bhaiya. And we will miss pluto (Labrador) ️. Clean washrooms. Comfortable beds and the location is also 10 on 10. Definitely will visit again.

Home away from home. Its located in old manali. Roof top cafe is just amazing. Rooms were so cozy and with a beautiful view. We just loved our stay there. Will surely be coming back.:)

We stayed at Culture Nation Hostel for 2 Days. Its a cozy place nestled in old manali.
Had a very pleasant time staying here. Ambience, cleanliness and service was great. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the female dorm. Extremely comfy beds and a big spacious bathroom. Two star less coz of the pricey menu and bad WiFi.

Great place to unwind post a Trek. Very friendly staff and a damn cute Labrador named Pluto.
Good Food, extremely clean environment. Very few places in India with a spick n span sense of hygiene.

I loved the place. It's cozy and warm at an amazing location in Old Manali. Super delicious food.specially the masala tea is the bestest in the entire Manali. Hosts and support staff are very friendly and helpful. It was my first solo trip in India and I had booked a mixed dorm at the hostel. My trip was memorable because of the hosts and the roommates I had at the hostel. Also don't miss meeting the cutest Pluto at the cafe. Would like to recommend it to everyone. My Stay Over here at culture nation was absolutely brilliant I had my Company retreat over here with my Coworkers. The common space on the roof is Spectacular and the Hostel is very clean and tidy.

The best hostel in manali with no doubt.
It has 8 bed dormitories, if you are a backpacker it is best for you. It is safe, hygenic, with rooftop yet affordable. The staff is very good. It has cherry trees in premises. Mall road is nearby from there

It was the most Homely stay ever outside my house and it's one of the best properties in Old Manali.

A really cool family is managing this hostel in old Manali. They are from Delhi and have started this hostel just a year back. They provide clean rooms and cozy quilts. Best part is the rooftop cafe which is a place for ultimate chill. Cherry on the cake is awesome food options at very affordable price.

Stayed at culture nation manali from 11th to 20th it has great vibe thanks kashika and meenu mam and nithin khanna bhai for taking care of me would like to stay again. Would miss this great atmosphere. Thanks baldev bhai and rintu kumar for great food and service.

Me and my friends took the mixed dorm and ended up making new friends. The roof top is probably the best part of the hostel its like the main common area where everyone chills and have food
