This is a little hidden gem tucked away among the winding temple road at Manali. It's a home away from home, and offers a bunch of relaxing things to do. The host is easily approachable and has an extremely quick turnaround time. The staff is helpful and invisible. There's 24/7 hot water. There's a fireplace and a pool table. There's a fully functional kitchen too.

The property is amazing. It's about 1.5 km from mall road but once here you cannot hear traffic noise. Staff is polite and helpful.

Location is absolutely breathtaking, serene and calming.
Staff let us borrow their umbrella for kids for a few hours when it started raining which was very sweet.
Two things you may need to know before your stay here, the road to reach it is very steep and hence getting in and out is challenging with your own vehicle.
To find an auto you need to walk for some time. Food was prepared fresh and was very tasty, order 1 to 2 hours in advance. The location is worth it.

The location is a bit hard to reach due to the poor condition of the leading road. The service was excellent, the staff and the owner were very friendly, nice and helpful. The view from the cottage was very beautiful. The rooms are also nice and beautiful. It's quite worth it.

A must visit place when you're in MANALI.

Amazing property. I wished to stay some more. Very intelligent things done in the room like sponge in soap case, hand wash liquid kar kept, refillable forest bound toiletries, wiper in washroom, glass on three sides of the room that lets sunrise in. The food cooked by chef was amazing. Will stay again if ever will visit Manali again.

I came to Manali after so long and one of the best decision was to stay here. Staff is very helpful and polite. I spoke to the owner Sahib during my stay and he is gem of a guy. I will try to visit manali more often now.

It was an excellent property. The host and staff both were great! All the facilities available were superb and the view was wow.perfectly neat and clean. Superb property to stay in Manali, Mall Road was 5 mins and everything was around!

We were family of 7 and stayed at this beautiful property surrounded by Apple orchard 2 nights. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was dutiful. They kept catering to our non stop demands of chai, pakode and churned out tasty dishes too. I highly recommend this property

The Forrest bound cottage as the name suggest located in the midst of calm surroundings. The cottage has been maintained home and gives you the feeling of belonging. The host Sahib Singh is very humble and helpful! Well maintained spacious rooms and clean bathrooms. Sahib was of great help when my kids were not feeling well. He drove me to the nearest pharmacy to buy medicines. Best place to stay much better than the star hotels which will cost fortune!

A perfect place to be with your friends and family.

The best stay one could get. We planned to stay for a day ended up staying for three, cause it raises the standards so much. The way to the cottage is somewhat steep and at height, but that wasn’t an issue for us as the view compensates for that. The staff is very nice and the food is awesome too. Will miss the local doggo Sheru.

बहोत ही खुबसुरत घर है. बढिया किचन है. एकदम घर जैसा फिलिंग मिला. हमने दो दिन का स्टे चार दिन के लिये एक्सेंट किया. लास्ट दिन हमारी बस रात नौ बजेट थी. और चेक आऊट दोपहर बारा बजे. हम आठ घंटे के पैसे देने के लिये तयार थे. लेकीन हमे फ्री स्टे मिला. साहिब, अक्षिता दोनो बढिया नेक इंन्सान है. हम सिर्फ तीन बहने थी. लेकिन एकदम सेफ लगा. चेरी से भरे पेंड, खुमानी और ॲपल के ट्री, बर्फिले पहाड और हरी घास में बैठ के
चाय की प्याली उठाने का मजा कुछ और ही था. Worth going. Great location. Really enjoyed a lot. Thank you Sahib, thank you Akshita. Love you.

Forest bound cottage deserves more than 5 stars. It is such a perfect place to stay. Connected yet disconnected from busy streets of Manali providing perfect view. It is a luxurious villa where you will notice attention to details elevating comfort of guests in all sense.
At last, very friendly and supportive staff. From now on whenever we or people in our circle visit Manali, Forest bound will be our go to place.

Really amazing living and dining experience with stunning views all around. The Hadimba temple is also on walking distance.

It is our 1st family trip to Manali, and we wanted something private so as to enjoy to the fullest. And I must say booking the Forest Bound Cottage is the best decision that we took. The property itself is a work of art, located not far away from the Mall road, but still secluded gives us the peace for what we came for. The view from the property is serene with snow clad mountain ready to wake you up in the morning. We were unable to meet owner of this property Mr Sahib, but the stay was really amazing with Akshita as a great host accompanied by Sonu. Always available with warm smile to serve us well and make our stay memorable.

The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this cottage. What a pleasant stay me and my friends had. All amenities are readily available, it's close by to old manali road and Mall road yet in a perfectly secluded location away from the hustle bustle. Truly a peaceful vibe that's resonates with the essence of Manali!

Great great great stay! Always staying here whenever we come to manali. We were group of 8 people. And it was great. Everybody was satisfied our host our caretakers were outstanding. Can’t thank enough to the caretakers always ready to help. Recommending this villa to everyone who is thinking to stay here. The location the view the villa is all worth the money. Also great food here too.

The ForestBound Cottage was everything that we would want for from an airbnb stay. Not top far away from mall road and old manali, yet felt secluded enough for me and my friends to enjoy our privacy. The house was kepy neat and tidy. It had all the amenities and the scenic view from every room was beautiful. Add to that, the house helps (pawan and pawan) were very sweet and made sure that we had a nice experience staying there. Finally, the owner, Mr Sahib was a delightful host. He checked up on us everyday, suggested places to visit near by and also got some local specialty (siddu) for us that we thoroughly enjoyed.

It's definitely a place I am going back to if ever I am in Manali.
