The staff is very sweet here. When it was almost closing, they still welcomed us very politely. The food is also so damn tasty. You can order anything on menu and you will find it tasty.

Must visit cafe to visit if you're in Kaza.

They have a wide variety of food that also tastes really good. Outdoor seating in the morning when the weather is bearable and indoor seating when the weather is cold.

They have a cozy setup at night with heating, which is really a crowd puller.

Visited this place in 2022, October end. Mainly at offseason. Had great dinner here, varities of options available. Atmosphere and decoration is great in these remote area of spiti. Must visit cafe if you wanna have breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner.

This place is the only place in Kaza to eat or drink. Ramesh and all of his staff were very friendly and delivered 1st class service and food. Stay Hard.

Came back to this cafe multiple times during our stay in Kaza. We really enjoy the Sampa cake, sea buckthorn tea, pizza, poha and thukpa. They played chill music and the view outside is amazing. But the best thing about this cafe was the interaction with the staff and owner. Especially Rocky and Lotey they were charming, helpful and all together good hosts. Lotey served us his homemade sampa soup for breackfast, a real treat. We also rented a motorbike for two days at a very good price. All and all amazing experience which really made our trip to Kaza. Definitely coming back. Thanks to everyone at The Himalayan Cafe!

Tried the seabuckthorn tea and veggie delight pizza. Both were good. Has indoor and outdoor seating and a few merchandise for sale. Seabuckthorn tea is a must try.

This cafe is known to be the best cafe in Kaza market area. The food served here is authentic and reasonably priced. Don’t forget to try their veg.momos served with authentic momos sauce. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting. The outdoor sitting offers mesmerising views of the mountains which no other cafe offers in this area. They also sell Spiti souvenirs which to me looked a bit pricey compared to the ones available in local stores.

After spending two days on road landing at this café was pure bliss. The place is located in the main market of Kaza and its worth the visit if you are staying in the city. The menu is huge and the food is delicious! Customer service is great. The place is packed and busy still the servers are super friendly, super attentive, and really take care of their customers. The lovely owner Vishaka personally take care of every table and ensure customer happiness. She is truly an inspiration. The aura of this place is splendid. Chattering of people, clinking of dishes, guitar, books, decorated walls, live music, karaoke and the view of those lovely mountains. Definitely recommended. I would love to go back there. It is just my kind of place.

This cafe is one of the best cafes in Kaza which is very famous too.
Unfortunately, I couldn't eat here anything as it was fully crowded and was in a hurry but next time whenever I’m visiting Kaza visiting here will be my priority.

This place serves great food. I was unable to decide about what to order for breakfast, since I didn't want to eat anything conventional.but the owner was around the server taking the order and he kinda overheard my conversation. He suggested me to try the Barley soup (posted in the pictures) which the locals and he himself enjoys very regularly. It was his supposed to be breakfast too on that day. The servers here are really polite and helpful which is a plus. I look forward to chasing such experiences which was made possible this instance by their kindness.

It is the most affordable place where you can get the taste of Spiti Valley. Although my favourite breakfast was tea and veg sandwich. Local dishes are also available.

You can joy delicious cuisine of the tribal area like momo, siddu and sebuckthorn tea.

And the kettle in this picture is to kept tea, it is good vessel to maintain the temprature of tea as it is.

Butter tea is one of the best tea, If you are in kaza must taste this tea it having unique kind of taste and it is good for digestion.

As I told I would love to come to this place if I am coming back to Kaza … and again in Sep 2022 I am back and all my Breakfast lunch & dinner I have done at this place … and food is as always amazing… but one thing I didn’t like after paying so much for the the food & I don’t mind also paying for but after having such lovely food … when I have to wash my hands I have to use soap? What’s used by other which isn’t good why will I use soap? What’s used by someone after he has gone to potty in fact told also to one of the staff they should have proper dispenser for soap … Just small small things makes a big difference pls do the need full … and I would for sure come back when I am coming to kaza … for time being I have changed rating form 5 to 3 just for this looks simple but a person like me who don’t use papper napkins is big issue for him

Most happening place in Kaza and I would have been there for more then 3 to 4 times when I was in kaza and there food is really good … if I will go back kaza will for sure go there place

Easy to hop in, but very difficult to leave Lots of people coming in from all sorts of places, so if you're feeling social it's kind of the place to be. The food is great, so was the room. Owner and personnel were very helpful. If ever I come back to Kaza, this is where I'll stay

This restaurant maintains the European and Indian culture with a little bit presence of Tibetan food habits. You can find lots of European cuisine here because lota of European and people from other countries stays here for several days and they mostly used to come here.
We tasted mainly Tibetan foods and drinks, food was awesome. The way they connect with the customer is in beautiful manner. We love the food, service and the time with satisfaction.

The Himalayan Cafe serves good food. For breakfast we tried different omelettes (served with toast), momos (delicious but expensive), parathas (tasted good), seabuckthorn tea (best i could find in my week's stay in Spiti valley), butter tea (a good start if you haven't tasted one, but can be better).

Ambience: The seating outside looks better but can get windy and cold. We sat outside with our jackets on most of our visits.

All in all give this one a try, its clean, has a restroom, and servers good food.

The food is okay for the location and a refreshing break from the regular food that can be found in the region.

This is much hyped cafe. Food is not worthy as per pricing. Tried momos and taste is one of worst that i have ever tasted so far.
People just come here because this is among one of old cafe of Kaza.owner is lady which remains in hurry, although keeps smiling but lacks in hospitality.pls try other cafe like spiti, alpinist etc.if you do not bother about taste and money but wants music only, you can go. Owner seriously lacks basic ethichs of hospitality, she clearly can be seen as money minded lady.don't like his behaviour at all. This is hospitality industry where money is motto but can't be sole motto only.

I visited this place today and let me share a practical experience than overhyping things. Firstly, the coffee that we ordered was served cold and the pita bread we ordered was stiff and chewy. Veg n cheese Momos was below average and served cold as other items. People/ customers were also smoking (not the usual one) in open in the cafe and the lady owner seems perfectly ok about it. Lastly, the prices of food items don't justify quality and taste

Its the best place for foodies and chai lovers.
Beside it its rolls are also finger licking. Highly recommended

Totally overrated.
My friends visited in Sept 21. The momo soup we ordered had a couple of pieces of wire from those scrotch brush use to wash the dish. We didn't get a proper appolgy forget refund.

One of the best cafe to dine in, in kaza with amazing view of mountains and river. It has open plus house in space, I will say prefer outside as being in such place, you should feel the vibes of amazing atomsphere. Loved the place and food is amazing except thupka, I really did not enjoy that, so wont recommend but must try the pizza and non vegetarian dishes. I went thrice during my stay in lovely place. One pro tip - always carry cash in such places as network is big problem and they dnt have wifi as well. Very colourful and vibrant, I am sure that whosever visit it, will surely love coming back.

We were in Kaza for 2 nights. We had planned to check out all eat out places during our stay. Himalayan cafe was next to our stay so we popped in first dinner and that was end of exploring all eat out places. We had all our meals at Himalayan cafe, because that’s how awesome the food is. The service, food, ambience are just perfect. You don’t need to explore anything else I guess. All items on their menu are just perfect taste.

Taste of the food is not that great.kadhai chicken is below average, the kulchas are pathetic.had a very bad experience regarding the food.staff behaviour is good though.for the food i will rate 1 star and for other criteria 4 stars.

Have been there on multiple occasions and love their food. This time had a chicken pizza and grilled chicken in black pepper n butter sauce and loved both the things. Their thukpa n momos is also very good. I will recommend it to anyone visiting kaza. One meal here is a must.

Went for evening snack, breakfast and dinner. Really loved the lemon tea, strawberry milkshake and chicken fried rice. The lady in stuff was really nice.

This was the worst ever dining experience in my life. The staff of that cafe was very very arrogant. We took a table and they didn't even gave us water for next 20 minutes. Then we asked for water then they also took 5 more min to serve it. The waiter didn't took the order correctly and served us the wrong item, that to after 45 minutes of ordering. At the end the abused us and were very rude to us and even used bad words for woman. The review u see in the net are mostly of the staff members. So please guys save ur money, time and most important respect. Rest depends on you i u still want to visit the place u can. At the end it's worst WORST WORST WORST WORST
You can visit cafe piti it's a beautiful cafe and the owner is so cool and respectful to us the ambience was way too cool of cafe piti.

Better you try Cafe Piti.the food and staff member so polite and ambience was so good. It's my genuine review which I experienced.

Ambience is good, food is over rated wrt taste and price. I will recommend to choose other options in the Kaza too. However it's open from 9 Am (that's when I checked in) and around that time not many options are available there.

Visited this place multiple times during spiti stay. Serves good food, tried fried chicken with bed of fries, pizzas which were really good. They serve liquor as well. Did not like indian food much though. Staff was very courteous and the service was prompt.

Great Food, Wonderful Staff and Awesome Experience. Ever imagined you will leave your handbag with cash and many costly belongings at a cafe table and will get it back later. This cafe can do it. Polite honest staff will make sure your kaza visit experience has some added things by their food and great ambiance. Definitely recommend them.

It is my second time in Kaza and this is my absolute favorite restaurant in entire Spiti Valley surrounded by the Great Himalayas.
The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal!
Additionally you can get drinks and amazingly awesome ambience in the evening.
Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Kaza.

Last time I had some minor issue in my breakfast and they replaced my whole meal with freshly made one.

Very nice place popular in travelers and locals. At this peak height this type of shop can boost/ cheer the traveller. This place is very awesome decoration. They have indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. Online is a also a traveller I meet her personally and talked to him. She is a very nice lady. As he is a traveller she know the need of travellers and what they like so this is a very good location for traveller. They have very wide and nice all you can eat menu. Their preparation is very good. Especially they have very nice music collection. Sometime they let customer to play their own choices. In the evening time this is very crowded. If you are in kaza must visit at least one time and you never forget the experience. *️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣

Great food and stay at their property. Owner Ramesh is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and terrain.his travel agency's arrangements are nice & we enjoyed all our stays.

Ambience was good, but given the prices of food and quantity, i would say its exorbitant.
One thing that we all 4 liked was soup.
Rest things - chilly chicken and pasta was ok.
Chilly potato was not at all good.

Restaurants need to work upon taste and qty. Of they want to meet there pricing.

Worst service in whole kaza. The owner thinks he is the king of kaza. Food is good but hospitality of the whole place specially owner is worse. It's just a matter of time a better place open. Suraj was a excellent waiter.

Not recommended at all. They serve the worst food and it is expensive too. I had a chicken manchow soupe which was too spicy. The Chicken fried rice and noodles were blunt without any flavour.

Had been to their Cafe while i was in Kaza, Tried their Momos, Thupka Soup, Noodles and other snacks along with Coffee and Shakes. They all were delicious and recommended by everyone. The sitting area inside and outside is beautiful and the sights from the restaurant is mesmerizing. People must visit their restaurants and listen to the tales of this restaurant setup from their owners as heard on their Instagram and Facebook page.

Good food.vibes are chill nd with a good view. Friendly host nd staff. Games nd guitar nd books to read are available in cafe. I simply love the vibe

Im rating this place on the basis of remoteness of the place and comparative food offered by them.if same menu i get in a Metro city i wouldnt have rated it this way.

A few things i would like to highlight they dont follow any sequence to serve you.for ex.soup will come after your meals, it will be cold, ice cream will be melted and so on.so be careful while placing the order.also since they prepare everything fresh (which is an advantage) they will take time.it took us 2 hours to complete our dinner.

However i would like to compliment the owner to serve us good food in a place like kaza which in itself is commendable.if u visit any local restaurant/hotel in and around kaza (except deyzor and a few cafes) all you get is mix-veg, dal and rice.so loved the food here!

Overall if you are in KAZA do visit this place for sure and dont go there with Metro expectations.

Nice place to have food. Not all items were tasty. Few of them really needs to be improved. The strong reason to like this place is because of the live music. Try visiting on evening time to make the most. Menu is quiet expensive, so be prepared before you visit this place. Place is not that cozy and it's conjusted. That's the reason I am giving as 3 star. It can be modified well and the dates should be relooked one more time.
