Worst property ever…. Don’t ever visit here…. Rude staff…. They were just arguing with us…. Very bad behaviour…. Intolerable…. Highly not recommended

The Himalayan village is like a paradise and paradise is an experience had a great time with my family!

One of the best property in kasol, Parvati valley, rates are too high and restaurant price is also too high.
But property is upto the mark, lifetime experience

Not recommended to go. No AC or cooler in the fan. No water activity inside the property. Not recommended to go. Staff behaviour is not acceptable as well.

After 13 years I was there again to have lunch break. Same peace, great hosting, nice food. Although the lawns infornt of the property is much lesser in size, but we'll maintained with several trees and flowers.

They have wooden tree houses along with other rooms. This place is some real definition of #Peace in #Kasol.

Love the space.

Very graceful ambience and delicious vegetarian food. The homemade pickles and specially plain curd were amazing.

Nice cozy resort. Had very good experience staying there except couple of points. But, considering 45k for 2 nights is little too costly. Not exactly value for money. Overall good services!

Super expensive and really not worth it!

The bathroom flooded everytime we took a shower and was very small.
The bed had a heated mattress but there was no mattress topper so I may as well have been sleeping on cables.

The menu and food is not ayurvedic or even healthy! They pretend they are but they're not! There is too much on the menu and the set breakfast didn't offer any real healthy options other than some pre chopped fruit and yoghurt, the rest was heavy unhealthy badly cooked and they didn't even have or know what ghee was!

There were rabbits kept captive in a cage in the parking entrance and exposed to the hot sun. They were all huddled into one corner of shade! When I reported it nothing was done.

The spa is not a spa, whilst it is very beautiful and I had a great massage, there is no toilet or shower in the "spa" The nearest toilet is through the restaurant next door. Luckily nobody was dining so I snuck through without anyone knowing!

When I submitted my honest and polite feedback to the owner, I was met with poor excuses and defenses trying to educate me on ayurveda. He said that they are working on it and weren't operating as they intend to. I think it fair then that their prices should reflect this. No offer of compensation was made and not even an apology or thanks for the feedback. Another example of pompous rich money doing what they want and not taking care and intention in their actions. If they are charging such high end prices, it is expected and fair that their service and environment should reflect this. It did not.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel. This is the best hotel. Crafted with love, intricate details, graceful decor. Special mention to Mr. Sood, the owner, thanks for the memories.

This place was great and I loved it. Location and food was very good, I had an amazing experience with my friends.

The hotel room were very comfortable, however the only problem was that they over crowded the room making it very cramped, the location however was perfect you could hear the river nearby and enjoy the nature and peace, the service is also very good, however sometimes it is a little slow. Overall however the hotel is very good, and a comfortable place to spend your holidays in

Stayed here for 2 days, property is amazing. You couldn't ask more when it comes to room and food. What was missing was hospitality. I found staff little rude and slow. Like it took me 45 mins for check out dispute of paying everything in advance.
It's a luxurious property but if the staff could have been polite and more engaging it would have been one of the best experience.

Review
The place has good architecture and location. Other than this the whole place is just a money looting scam. The food was extremely average, the service extremely slow, lack of amenities was shocking. The only thing high were the prices. The fried rice was 800, fish 1200 plus taxes with extremely poor taste. The place had no heater only bed warmers. The so called complimentary breakfast was limited with burnt toasts and slow service yet again.
The staff was cordial with all their namaste and thank you's BUT AT THE TIME OF CHECKING OUT THEY ASKED US ABOUT A BED RUNNER GONE MISSING WHICH THEY FOUND IT IN BETWEEN THE SHEETS WHEN THEY ACTUALLY SEARCHED FOR IT.
The manager/owner Mr. Sood has a habit of calling and harassing u by engaging in constant verbal duel when he doesn't like the review.
Apparently according to the manager we were supposed to ASK for the heater after being told that bed warmers are available when we questioned about it to the staff during our stay.
Apparently there were a lot of guests who stole stuff so according to him he feels it justified Dat the staff at the reception can question us without checking properly
Apparently the phrase 'Athiti devo bhava' according to Mr Sood means harassing the customer by constantly messaging with no intention of addressing our issue.
**I really wonder how he has 4.5 review and also our previous review has gone missing which had screenshots of him messaging ND harassing us. So now we really wonder the reviews on tripadvisor is as trustworthy as we thought it to be**

Worst experience. Order your food (dinner) and sleep you will get food in the morning. Pathetic taste. Not at all recommended.

Best resort in kasol, you get real feeling of staying in Himalayan village, all the cottages and Machan are build by stone walls and stone roof, machan view is the best and the food is also good

Property is good.
But otherwise nothing great that you would miss out on.
The breakfast is very very ok. They dont take orders properly. Theres not taste in the food that they provide. And on top of that they say we use organic stuff? Whats organic in a coffee? Whats organic in a Gobi Paratha?
How do you justify it by saying Organic! Im glad we didnot have lunches and dinners we would have repented a lot! The rooms are okaying the heaters arent upto the mark.
The lock and key system is so annoying that everytime u need to open the door u need to climb on a stool and open!
Nobody would want to do that after long treks!
The bathroom is old fashioned they can upgrade it to a little better atleast. When it comes to providing basic bathroom fittings.
For the cost we paid we don’t appreciate the quality of the hotel and services. A big No!

The place is well maintained but the service is very bad, equally the quality of food is not good at all. Very disappointed.

Spaces are beautifully designed. Dishes are a bit costly! If you are from Delhi then the prices would be fine for you!

My second visit here was even better than the first one 5 years ago. First the cons, because there aren’t many so that’s easy.
1) Service is slow, but I kind of understand that. They make food fresh when you order. And the overall theme is a bit laid back, so we didn’t mind the slowness after first couple of times
2) Very expensive (both stay and food)
3) Biryani

Now the pros:
1) If you want to just sit back and enjoy the nature and food, I would say it’s worth every penny
2) Staff is nice and professional. No complaints really. But if you want nothing short of a 5 star treatment, this place is not for you. I found the staff to be warm local people, who are trained to treat you like guests not pamper you like masters. They do grow on you after the first day or so
3) Food is very good (As long as you don’t think too much about shelling extra bucks on a vacation). Loved the breakfast
4) Special shout out to their hot coffee. It’s heavenly. No coffee in the world comes close
5) The best part is the ambience and location. We took a machan, and we could see (and hear out loud) the wild Parvati river. And beyond that are 3 massive steep perfectly cut out hills staring at you. Not to mention the 80 feet trees spread out all around the property. If you happen to get a cloudy night during your stay and you are sitting in the machan balcony, I really can’t describe in words how amazing everything looks. Probably the best I can say is it’s unbelievably beautiful and I have never seen anything like it
6) Villas are well spread so you get total privacy
7) Spacious rooms

Wonderful place, if you are not a kasol person but visiting kasol. Heritage feeling, delicious food.

We took a halt over why returning from Manikaran it's just like 20 -25 from Manikaran. We ordered aloo mutter, dal rice and 4 glass of butter milk. The place is super duper expensive.

Local food is good. And the place is also better than average. What's excellent is new year party here. Loved it.

Took spa service her nails scratched me and she didn't knew the technique she agreed I don't know pressure points and sprain my leg v bad spa service and wastage of money unhappy

Didn’t stayed, but beautiful place, and amazing food. Missed the sidu as we were late to arrive, but its dope.

Would like to start with the positive part of the review the ambience is very nice and the staff courteous.
Well the food is another story we ordered pasta which was ok and some chicken sizzler which was good.
The veg Biryani was not good and the kurma mentioned was not served along with it.
The worst dish was garlic butter trout which looked terrible and tasted very bad.

Good place with nice ambience and polite staff. Food is also good. Traditional himachali touch gives another plus point.

The hospitality is unmatched. Built like an actual himalayan village, the rooms are beautiful and authentic. The best part are the private gardens that come with each room, with a majestic view of the mountains. A luxurious stay made extra special with the warm and prompt service. Best possible experience in Kasol! Also just a 7 km walk alongside the Parvati river will take you to the town, so it's super accessible.

Me and my wife had an amazing 3days at this place. Thanks to the wonderful and caring staff of the resort, they made our stay memorable. Anything we ordered from their menu was fresh and tasted really fantastic hats off to their culinary skills.the ambience and landscaping of the property has been painstakingly carved to perfection. If anyone has to look for a peaceful and relaxing holidays please visit this place. You won't regret spending money in this resort. Excellent.thanks thv for an amazing memory

Nothing to complain. All pros and no cons. 100% satisfaction on all. Food, Menu, Cafe, Sit-out, Room, (one thing off was the cottage flooring, needs attention) But real hats off to the gardening & greenery they maintain. Flowers, roses everywhere not to forget the lovely dogs! Loaded mini-bar. Proper Himalayan style and mesmerizing view 360.

This was my second visit to the resort. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the room that i got was also really good, had all the amenities like a bed heater as well as an oil heater. The bathroom seemed to be a bit traditional but clean and nice smelling. I expected the bathroom to have a Bidet shower (jet)

The food was also really good, EXCEPT the dal Makhni that I ordered wasn’t cooked people despite me waiting for more than 30 mins at the restaurant. The food portions were really big, good enough for 2-3 people. I had all 3 meals in the resort and can say that all of them were of high standards except the dal. The entire place had a really relaxing and calming smell of woodish oil, really enhanced my experience.

If anyone from THV is reading this, I want to say that walker and dylan really made my stay more pleasant.

A really great over all experience.
