The hotel is right on mall road, the most happening but overcrowded road in Shimla. The rooms r neat. Service is good. Mr Vijay, the manager tks good care of all the guests.
However, Shimla by itself is a chaotic place. No cars allowed on important roads. So to reach this hotel, u park ur car in some public parking lot, walk, then tk 1 crowded public lift, then walk, , then anthr public lift to mall rd, walk, climb, then tk this hotel's private lift to reach the hotel. Mall road is not worth all this stress. God help u if u reach the hotel aftr 10 when the public lifts are switched off.

Stairs are a big problem, had booked a deluxe room, too small, stayed in 3017 (try not to stay because it's in an extreme corner) which was in extreme end, needed to climb stairs which was hectic. Monkeys all around which is scary. 3 days stay, after 2 days we were asked to change because that was a better one. But with all the luggage, it was quite a job so preferred to stay there itself. Much hyped hotel, photos were deceptive because the place & rooms looked larger

Beautiful location. Food quality is awesome. Staff behavior is good and hotel rooms are neat and clean. A must visit place to enjoy your trip

Friendly hotel. Little bit walk to reach anywhere bcoz no vehicles allowed in main town. (This is main point to think if you have kids or full of baggage) Super Deluxe rooms are nice. Very polite and helpful staff. No complaints. Nice experience

The staff were very good and helpful. Amenities provided are great. The rooms are clean. And the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Had a lovely stay. The family suite we booked was nice, spacious and clean and staff were really helpful. The hotel is located on the Mall Road, close to the Lift and hence close to all the shops. The Ridge is within the walking distance.

Pros
1. Very conveniently located at mall

2. The staff is amazing specially the front desk manager Mr. Vijay who is extremely polite and courteous. The entire staff is very supportive including kajal, op, chetan, shivam and abhishek.
3. Rooms are spacious, clean and centrally heated! With modern amenities.
4. They have lift to reach the reception after few stairs.
5. The dinner we had was very good and prepared fresh.
6. The terrace had seating area with amazing views.
Cons
1. They need to improve the breakfast menu. One day it was ok but the other day it asked for improvement.
Overall great stay.

Best part about this hotel is location.my kids enjoyed their a lot …staff is very good and cooperative….

Room was clean with good amenties like LED, wi-fi, sofas etc.washroom was also bery good and clean.

The staff was polite n was at work as soon as required. Vijay and Pankaj were quite great at their job. It would be a pleasure for me to stay again here.

I have been staying at this place Everytime I’m in shimla from last 2 years, it’s unfortunate that today would be my last stay here, The staff was very unprofessional and unkind to lend me an adapter to charge my power bank I had given them my power bank in the afternoon to charge and got it back at 8ish with zero battery in it. Upon requesting an Adapter they were too proud to lend me one. I only had my usb with me and it’s a shame that they don’t have USB ports even in their premium room where I’m staying. Customers pay enough for the hotel to afford USB port charging points i mean even the public transport have those. Really a shame because when it comes to basic amenities there are none.
Shame on the staff on duty at the legacy on 31st July evening.

Now come to breakfast, worst service & food taste. No staff & no maintenance
Really, very disappointed with the breakfast & I would suggest if you book this room don’t book breakfast.
Room is absolutely perfect, beautiful & all inclusive aminities but poor breakfast.

Superior rooms are good and spacious. But there is partial view. Staff behaviour specially Sandeep is very nice and humble. Good service & food overall.

Rooms were too small even the height of the room was too short that you can touch the roof while standing on the floor. There was no window in the room.feel so suffocating.i booked online for 3 nights and 4 days in cost of 14000 but i shifted to another hotel (bridge view) next morning without any refunds.lights were too low in the room and bathroom. Not at all recommended for families and couples.

I came with my family, loved the service, rooms environment. Also food was great.
We enjoyed our stay. It was healthy and hygenic.

The room was soo small. Side isolated room was alloted to us. The room was smelling woody nd wet, the blanket was smelling foul. The hotel rooms are soo small and there is huge disturbance outside the room. We cant sleep properly since early morning sounds from adjoining rooms were coming. The hotel charged us rs 6000 per day but no servi e was provided. No mini fridge no hairdryer no wifi connection. Our adjoining rooms were charged less amount nearly 4500 to 4000 per day, we confirmed by many guests, we booked online over call directly to the hotel and in advance but still we were cheated nd charged such huge amount.
Very bad experience. Feel like cheated.

Such a great location, Such a great place to stay, Right on mall road. A bit expensive for a 3 star hotel but the location and views makes it worth it.

They niether provide any type of parking facilities nor they provide luggage pickup facility

And the room size is sooooo small that it’s difficult for two people to adjust

Please do not book the cheapest rooms. The size of the room is just 8x10. This size is literally the size of a prison cell. Not fit for more than 1 person. This information is provided on the hotel official website but not on any booking websites.
The location is good. But the place is not stroller friendly. To reach hotel reception, you have to climb total 3 floors and carry baby stroller.
The staff is polite while talking, but not great service. The breakfast can be skipped while booking.

Wonderful stay. The place is situated at the heart of Mall Road. Views are extremely scenic, both exterior and interior. They've very well behaved and professional staff.
Room aesthetics and size was good. Cleanliness and services were excellent.

One of the best hotels out there in Shimla. The hotel is located at the most happening place, the Mall Road.
We asked for a check-in and reception staff were very helpful and they checked the availablity and provided us the room in a short time.
We booked deluxe rooms and they were clean and spacious. Enjoyed the stay here

Had a wonderful stay at Legacy. The hotel is situated at a prime location with access to the mall road. Hotel staff is extremely humble and cooperative. Loved the food. It’s always my top choice whenever I visit to Shimla. Highly recommend it!

ensuring everything went smoothly. The hotel is well connected to the Mall Road so it was the best advantage. The food was delicious and hotel was very hygienic.

Staff is polite and room was clean. Location right near the lift-exit on mall road. The receptionist gentleman is actually very helpful and tries his best to correct any trouble you faced.

However, it is a big no-no hotel if you are given classic/standard room. The room is smaller than bathroom; you literally cannot even keep 3 suitcases in the room (if you can call it a room). Extremely bad experience.

Location is the only advantage they have. Rooms are not spacious. U have to wait for hours if you ask them to clean your room, bcoz They don't keep proper stock of their linens. Poor services. Different rules for different guests & different prizes for different guests. And if you reach early (early morning) or so for checkin, then the hotel employees will try to fill their pockets by asking you, extra charges as early check-in charges and they will not provide you any receipt of that.

Very disappointed in service. Ordered water multiple times and even after saying that they will deliver I had to call them again multiple times but they did not pick up. Had to complain to a housekeeper only for them to deliver the wrong item. Tandoor is not available at conventional lunch time along with some basic dishes. Other than that the stay was satisfactory. But I would suggest looking somewhere else.

I had a great experience staying here.

Pros:
Location was perfect.
View was beautiful
Rooms were neat and tidy
Staff was helpful and courteous
Service was great
Food was also delicious

Cons:
Small room size for 8k per night.
Ac wasn’t working well in our room despite numerous complaints.
Only 1 complimentary water bottle was given per room per day instead of the usual 2-3.
Lawn area had lights out policy at 11: 30pm despite people sitting there.

*The two things that tipped the scale to the plus side was:
1. Our friend got sick and they were very helpful in getting us the required medical help. Accompanying us to the doctor, getting medicines from the chemist.
2. I forgot something in the hotel during checkout, they couriered it to me to Delhi without any cost and even checked up about it’s delivery and if it was safe and not damaged.
