The Leopards Den : In The Pines Homestay

Magnificent property, mesmerizing views, amazing service & a wonderful host. Almost everything that you can ask for while on a vacation. So our stay at Leopard's Den was truly a wonderful experience as it's an offbeat property, a quaint homestay to be accurate, which oozes beauty all around. Pristine cottages are a special feature of this homestay. The amazingly helpful host took care of us so well from the very beginning & the food they cooked for us was so damn good. All in all, highly recommended property if you wish to travel the roads less taken in Himachal. But once you are there, I am sure you won't leave disappointed.

We booked leopards den at 3: 30 pm on the day of reaching Rajgarh due to cancellation of our confirmed MMT booking by owner of Rajgarh hills resort. We were welcomed by owner of Leopards Den property very warmly. They made up our room within 15-20 mins and we were very comfortable there. Kids specially liked the spiral staircase in valley view room. Views from the lawn of room were awesome. Room was decorated with minute details. Food, location and behaviour of staff and owner was next level of hospitality.
We went inside their private accommodation where we were given special attention and it felt like we are there to meet our old relative or friend. Kids also felt like they were at home.
BNB with such a great location and courteous staff is a very rare combination. Although outdoor of the property could be better maintained but May be it’s like part of nature. Owner said that it was earlier meant only for friends and relatives and just recently they have opened this property for guests. I am sure that Rajgarh will pick up as a new tourist destination due to less crowd and serene surroundings and Leopards den will be at top of the list as an option to stay.

This place is a bliss. You can simply forget the outside world. The nature speaks in your ears. Hosts are lovely people and take care of your needs like a family. Home cooked food is good for your mind and soul. Take nature walks, go for a run, have a sound sleep and meditate. Anything else on your mind, kindly do not bother the tranquility of the place.

We took a week long running vacation in June 2022 and stayed at The Leopard’s Den, situated in the gorgeous Rajgarh, Himachal Pradesh. It’s 3.5 hrs drive from Chandigarh. Owners & staff made us feel like family. It did feel like home away from home. The food was amazing. I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle bustle of big cities and rejuvenate & recharge, but if you expect malls, pubs, discos etc.you are at the wrong place. There are amazing running routes too.

While the cottage was beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated, it was the hosts that made it for us. Kind and helpful.
The food was delicious, home-like and the portions were generous.

Leopard’s den was a perfect spot for me to take some time off from work. It’s quaint and peaceful with gorgeous views and doesn’t require a ten hour drive up the mountains. Leena and her mom are fabulous hostesses, and the overall experience is quite personable! Highly recommended.

Very serene surroundings, peaceful and prominently placed right at the top fo the valley. Picturesque view. Highly Recommended destination for weekend to week long chillout. Lots of tracks to go for easy to mid difficulty to tough treks.

The leopards den is one of my favorite places in Himachal Pradesh. This offbeat property is located in the Peach valley of Rajgarh. You will love the stylish decor of this charming place to stay. This is a perfect weekend getaway from Delhi and Chandigarh. The super host is amazing and they will make sure you have a great time. Highly recommended!

We had planned a small get together at this BnB. We school friends decided to stay at a property which is away from the city's hustle and bustle and among the lush green forests. Without a doubt, this place was just as per our expectations, the host was warm and looked after us so well. We were able to get whatever we asked for and moreover the property is just so perfect and serene. It felt like we have rented a cabin amongst the woods which gave us a calm vibe. Will definitely recommend this place and hope to book it again soon!

Went to The Leopard's Den last weekend. I guess, I am still there! It is tucked away from the rest of the world, offers beautiful views and privacy.

We stayed at the View, which was a cozy duplex cottage with a kitchenette, sitting area and a lovely reading room that offered a breathtaking view of the mountains:)

The Leopards Den is just right if you want to catch a break but don't have ten days to spare. You can walk around, meet the many furry friends that roam the property, admire the flowers, sit on the swings and enjoy the delicious home-cooked food and forget the world! I must say food and tea are one of the highlights of the Leopards Den. Tea lovers, you are going to order more than two rounds for sure.

Our host was so friendly, she made sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Though we reached well past their working hours, she ensured that we were well taken care of. I can't wait to return and unwind!

Leopard's Den is a beautiful place, situated a little above Rajgarh town of Himachal Pradesh.

Built with a lot of love, it is home to the owners. And they have opened it up to guests, and make them feel like home. Be it the hospitality, or the food, or the conversations, everything is just wonderful about this place.

It is a pet friendly place. And you or your pet would also have company of dogs and a cat that they have.

If you love stories, aunty would also share lots of them with you. She has a wonderful sense of humor and you would love her company.

Directions:

For Rajgarh, you have to reach Solan, leave the highway towards Shimla, enter the town, and then go on Rajgarh Road.

It will take you roughly 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes for you to reach Rajgarh.

From Rajgarh, keep going straight (always keep right during intersections and Y points). Cross Market, then Petrol Pump, then DAV school, and keep going straight. You would then reach a point, where you would see a building in the right (blue and while railings), from there, there's a road going on your left (down). Take that road. Drive for 3 kilometers (again, keep right on Y points) and the first building you see is Leopards Den.

Excellent stay. Can't expect more other than breath taking views, beautiful sunsets, home cooked food, decent internet connectivity at affordable price. Host was superb and helped us through out stay. Also, recommended us to visit valley which is nearby the property which has mesmerizing views. Food was delicious. Definitely going to visit again. ️

For anyone who wants a break from their 12 hour working shifts and just wants to relax with some soothing sounds of nature. This is the place.
Stayed here for two days and I still don't feel like leaving. The food has this warmth of love and affection which just wants you to eat, eat and eat.
The rooms are really good with amazing picturesque view. The owners are really helpful as well.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful properties I have ever visited. A very warm and cosy place to relax away from the hustle bustle of the towns. Also, the food is really good. The beautiful view of Churhdar also adds up to the beauty.
