Kind staff, beautiful enviroment, amazing food, amazing dog who is very well trained and kind.

We spent 2 great nights in the Wah lodge, and it was one of the best experiences in our trip to India. The lodge is bringing like a tiny heaven. The hosts and the stuff are so welcoming and gave us the feeling that we are at home. The meals were reached with flavors and so tasty. The rooms were comfortable and the calm. I wish I could spend some more time.

I had a wonderful stay at Wah. Thank you so much Upasana, Surya, Saloni and Gaurav for your warmth and hospitality. The whole staff could not have been more warm and attentive. And it was a pleasure to connect with the other guests. The lodge wah itself is a beautiful retreat. Such a special experience. I can't wait to be back!

We had a lovely and memorable stay although only for one night. Surya and Upasana and their team offered us great hospitality and we loved the 'family ' atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the added bonus of the tea estate tour.

It was also great to meet Mr Prakash and hear his interesting stories.

This is the place if you are looking for a unique experience, a luxurious stay, warm hospitality and delicious meals. In Palampur, I picked this place for its earthy architecture and its proximity to the tea estate & Andretta Pottery studio. But there was more to the offering. Deepak, Niru, Surya, Upasana, Saloni and the whole Wah team were exceptional, always available to assist and make the stay comfortable. The beautiful garden in the front, the bird life, dinner around the bonfire, meeting the local community, the tea garden tour, meeting like-minded people at the dining room, and the list goes on. I can't wait to return; I look forward to my next visit in April 2024.

I can’t remember the last time I fell so in love with a property. The Lodge at Wah is a beautiful place that from the get go feels like a home away from home. From the hospitality of the hosts, to the delicious food, experiences, lovely staff and comfortable rooms - everything was perfect! I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to experience and explore Himachal! Bonus points for the Chief Happiness Officer - Lily, the most beautiful dog!

Our stay at the Lodge at Wah was beyond perfect! From the moment we walked in, the courteous service had us floored! Such incredible warmth!
The rooms were spacious, clean, warm (thanks to the all weather ACs, bed warmers and the very thoughtful heater in the washroom) …

I actually slept for 14 hours the first night I got there- which is a testament to how comfortable I was!

And the best is yet to come— the food is homely and lovely… just what I wanted! Not greasy, not too spicy and just perfect! The staff at lodge are always ready to please! They made us the most amazing eggs Kejriwal and Alu poori for breakfast.and their coffee is top notch!

Mr Surya and Ms Upasana, who own the lodge, are always around to show us the ropes.and their tea estate across the street is something out of a fairy tale, especially with the stunning views of the mountains as a most serene backdrop!

We loved each moment of our stay- from the picnic ro the bonfire… everything was TOP!

It's a beautiful garden lodge surrounded by Tea Gaden n near by a tea factory own by the owner of The Lodge at Wah. This lodge is located at village Patti and 6 kms far away from Palampur Town. Sardar Shobha Singh (Famous Indian Painter) Art Gallery n Pottery is 4 kms distance

Where do I start? As soon as you enter Lodge at Wah, you feel instant happiness. The family that runs the lodge treats you like their own, the staff is always willing to help and go the extra mile, and lily the dog is the best addition

Rooms: rooms are great, very comfortable and spacious. They have an AC incase it gets hot and provide you with everything - enough water, daily cleaning, soaps and linens.

Food: I could write a whole review on this, the food is AMAZING. Try the thali, the wood fired pizza, eggs Kejriwal, the kebabs, the Upma, and more. They love to feed you ️

Experiences: Upasana is super helpful and helped us plan many experiences. There’s a lot to do around the area and you also have a tea garden in your backyard

Location: the location is great, there’s many spots to unwind, they organized a bonfire for us as we stargazed. They have beautiful flowers and fruits on the property as well!

On Reaching Palampur And Lodge At Wah Homestay We Were Welcomed By Cloudy Weather And Very Very Heavy Rains.

We Were Alloted Cedar Cottage On Ground Floor.

All The Cottages Have Been Designed In Traditional Himachal Pradesh Himalayan Style.

All The Cottages Provide Excellent Arrangements.

Then There Are Also Electronic Blankets, Warm AC To Keep Onself Warm In Winter Season.

Cottages Also Provide All The Modern Facalities Like Safe, Cupboards, Small Reading Area.

In Cottages Small Pouches Of Wah Teas Are Provied Along With Kettle.

Drinking Wah Tea In The Morning Is Definately Very Very Refreshing And Provides Best Start To The Day.

All The Services Provided Here Are Very Excellent.

One Can Have Breakfast In Dinning Area Or Just Outside Dinning Area.

Daily Vide Variety Of Tasty Dishes Are Served Along With Wah Tea Which Made Us Overeat.

We Always Took Wah Masala Tea Without Milk And Sugar By Adding Honey That Was Very Very Refreshing.

In Dinner Also One Is Served Wide Variety Of Tasty Dishes.

Twice We Were Also Served Very Very Tasty Local Food Of Himachal Pradesh In Dining Area.

Surya Sir And Upasana Madam Stay At The Lodge At Wah And Look Into Every Little Details And Try To Make Stay Of Each And Every Family Comfortable At Lodge At Wah.

Everyday we were provided with amazing tasty JAIN food too.

I have been coming to The Lodge at Wah for the last 5 years and it’s one of my favourite places in India. Surrounded by tea estates, The Lodge and surrounding areas provide a majestic view the Himalaya Range.

Rooms are super comfy and food is delicious. They have added a private dinning under the stars for couples recently and it was just amazing! A must try for any couple staying at The Lodge.

Staff was kind and polite so were the hosts food was delicious everything about this hotel is perfect it felt like one big family if you were to ask me if you should stay there I would say yes there is nothing I hate about this hotel in he experience and the hotel itself was extravagant 10/10

Run by the "Wah Tea Estate" family, this 9 room boutique property which is nestled at the foothills of the Dhauladhar range in Palampur (HP) ticks off all the boxes when it comes to a great stay. The hosts Upasana, Surya and the Prakash family went to great lengths to ensure a truly personalised experience for guests, from curated Himachali food to a tour of the Tea estate, 'The Lodge At Wah' is really a hidden gem.
