The Red Capsicum Dhaba

Just another dhaba on the way to Shimla,
as you stop there for quick breaks but get annoyed because Washrooms are not clean.

The place is just after Salon going to Shimla. I Enjoyed tandori Paratha, with tea. Different sandwiches also available.

It's a one time good to go place.

Positive Aspect:
1. Pure Vegetarian.
2. Toilets Available.
3. Staff Good / And Limited to Work.
4. Locations is very good, on the main road.

Negative Aspect:
1. Not much food choice's are available, at the time of my visit on Parathas were available.

Excellent tasty food, good location, if u start from Delhi in the morning, u will stop at karnal first for breakfast and second stoppage can be this restaurant, will come at lunch time.second time we stopped here in 3 months, same good tasty food served and very good nature of PAHAJI and people working here.

One of the best places to eat local foods. Delightful taste, awesome mushroom masala and butter naan, roti, shikanji and everything else that we ordered

This place is located on Himalayan expressway between Solan and Shimla. Location is very picturesque. It is a very small restaurant with around 6 to 8 tables. Food is average, but they do not have staff to manage the orders or cater to the clients. Cost of food is quite reasonable.

Very very tasty food hot & fresh, wash room Clean & neat, quality and quantity good, service good 1 star less because they don't serve tea i think on this places tea is must

Stop here only if you want to waste your time

Don't offer paranthas whole day (we reached at 2 pm)
Don't have Chai - Only coffee that too machine made (This is what we were told)
Washrooms condition was pathetic

Quality of food is not up to the mark, I ordered Vegetable Maggi, its taste was not good. I suggest suggest to not order maggi there.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. If you are going to Shimla then you can take a halt and enjoy the yummy food.

You will get to have good veg Maggi and noodles and special tea after Solan this is the best dhaba on the way to shimla

Although costly compared to other Dhabas around but food quality is good. Two males with good diet can pacify their hunger in Rs 500.

Didn't got the Tea here.service is very slow.have to wait for long to get my order. You will get tea only till 12 PM. Food quality was OK OK not as per the charges they are applying.

We loved eating there. We went there twice during our tour to Shimla. Taste is awesome and staff is very nice.

Fact that after a stretch in the hills this one has a little parking space goes in its favour. Otherwise an average small place.
It has a washroom. Where on wall is pasted a banner with good educative 5-6 points about judicious use of water and proper one of washroom. Must read and act on.

Rude owner, we stopped by to get fresh have coffer. First thing we asked for was way to washroom and he said that they don't have washroom.

Useless washroom, pathetic good. Not clean or hygienic. We ended up paying, not eating anything.

A good restaurant located on Chandigarh Simla highway after Solan. The restaurant is operated by a gentle and awesome Sikh. The food quality and rates both are good. Hygiene and cleanliness is maintained.

Good option for simple and good food.
It has good variety in Indian food, Chinese snacks and dishes.
Also burgers, fries and pizzas.
Hot and cold beverages
They are strictly against outside food.
It was crowded on 26th January but seating is huge.
Service is prompt and fast
Coffee was very good

We had stopped at this restaurant for having our evening snacks and cup of hot tea/coffee. The restaurant is located just after Solan while going towards Shimla on the highway. The place also has a parking area which is just adequate to accommodate a few cars at a time. The first thing that we noticed about the place is its cleanliness and the owners ensure that the place is kept clean at all times. The staff members are also polite an courteous. The menu offers a range of cuisines/ dishes and beverages to choose from, though, tea was not available during our visit.
Our order of coffee and pakoras was delivered to us within appropriate time. The pakoras, especially the chilli pakoras, were delicious and the hot coffee complemented them.

Overall a nice place to take rest and have snacks

Average place, good people but there are no arrangements of heater, we used to shiver in cold while sitting inside

This is a dhaba cum restaurant located enroute Chandigarh-Shimla highway. Most of the taxi drivers will stop here for food because they earn a commission from the restaurant. Coming to the service, it is ok and not so highly professional. Food is good and the pricing is competitive. The decor and the atmosphere is dull. The lighting is equally bad. The food was good but amazed that being in hill station and on highway they did not have Tea. We were shocked.

All things are nice, typical indian food was warm and tasty, staff courteous, rates reasonable. Only difficulty was they serve only coffee and no tea. Washroom was reasonably clean
