The Sojourn, Adharshila & Gulmohar Cottages

This is the 4th time we stayed at The Sojourn and like always we had a wonderful stay.

From the moment we arrive, the greetings, warmth and hospitality always sets the tone for the rest of our stay.

The service apartment's location is simply beautiful. The serene atmosphere provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing us to unwind and reconnect with nature.

All the rooms are smartly done, spacious and very well maintained. We always prefer to stay at the duplex apartment which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. It is very spacious, nicely decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

What truly sets Sojourn apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. They are very hard-working, well trained, warm and hospitable.

In addition to the wonderful accommodation, their food is homely, delicious and very reasonably priced.

Karan, our host is friendly, super responsive and accommodating. Although, he is based in Delhi, he has done a remarkable job of running the show impeccably.

Overall, our stay at Sojourn always rejuvenates us.

The Aadhar Shila property at Dharsmshala is one of the best experiences I have had at a home stay. Neat, well organized rooms with all the amenities. Hospitality and food quality no less than what you could expect at your home. We were total 8 persons and everyone was appreciative of the property. Would suggest anyone could go for having a stay there without a second thought.

Stayed in Adharashila. Nice spacious rooms. Well furnished. Clean washrooms. Ample sitting areas. Gym and play area is also there. Suite is well designed. Has a foot massage machine as well. We had the entire property for our group and we are glad we went for it.

The good part is the staff. Very helpful and sweet. We booked two cottages, the lower one was awful and certainly not worth 12000/- a night for 3 bedrooms. The rooms were basic, old fashioned, not maintained well, TV not working and washrooms were also not up to the basic comfort level required these days. The second cottage we booked was much better. It was modern, new and had basic amenities and had sit outs. It was clean and the washrooms were decent. The dhauladhar view from the back side was lovely but it was marred by dirty accommodation, shanties and construction. The entrance to the cottage is extremely narrow and it was a nightmare reversing and parking two SUVs in the tiny spot.
My suggestion: totally avoid their adharshila cottage.

Very cozy rooms. Kitchens to make food for yourselves if you wish to. Nice Gym to play TT and Carrom, weights and Treadmil.

Beautiful property and fast free Wifi!

Careless staff at Pratiksha, didn't bother to check the water supply and ruined an entire day.the owner didn't bother to show any gesture towards the loss we incurred due to the incompetence of his staff.everyone kept on passing the buck and nobody took the ownership.very unprofessional.booked basis the reviews but the experience turned out to be a nightmare. Won't recommend it to anyone to be honest! Thanks.

We stayed for 2 days at The Sojurn Cottages - Prateeksha apartment. The care takers are very friendly and made our stay pleasant throughout. The place is setup outside the bustling town and had a peaceful vibe and great view of the Dhauladhar mountain range in the background. The suites were neat and clean. Overall, we had a great time and might visit again on our next trip.

Good sized rooms ideal for 3 adults, 1 kid can also get easily adjusted. Good seating area outside and a huge living room. If you are a group of 8+ this is the place for you

These are family cottages. Very neat and clean rooms. Staff is very co operative. Very peaceful environment. No city rush. Surroundings are very peaceful. Just feel and enjoy.

Loved the stay at Soujorun. Stayed for 4 days with a group of friends. The place is located in a quiet place away from the crowds of McLeodganj. The property is well made and is quite spacious.
Wifi was great which was a + since we were working from there.

The best part is the hospitality of the caretakers and the yum food they serve you at real economical prices.
Don't miss to stay here when you visit Dharamshala/mcleodganj

The manager of this guest House is very polite and friendly.
These people treat you as their family.
The family room here is very big having 2 beds in a particular room with a balcony with a nice view.
These people have also set up a small gym on the terrace.
The food is also very tasty, healthy as well as delicious.
We also got to know about the pahari kulfi which is brought in a wooden box by the seller.
You all can book the full guesthouse and enjoy your stay with a large group or a large family

Its a beautiful cottage. The staff is cooperative. Lot of greenery around and a well maintained small garden with beautiful flowers.

Very nice accommodation. Nice rooms and neat bathrooms. Balconies are nice, you can enjoy the weather from balconies and there's a common space where there's a TV so the entire family can sit together and enjoy. Moreover, there is everything required in the kitchen and the cook is also helpful.

We had the whole Villa to ourselves and the housekeeping was amazing. Their food was tasty and reasonably priced. Overall a great experience.

Housekeeping was not up to the mark, in 6 nights and 7 days stay they just changed the bedsheets and towels of my room just once. Also, the food was not good and we decided to cook our own food which was probably not liked by the manager so he was quite rude with us.
