The wow place to be if you are going for a hike nearby or even if you're just staying in Dharamkot.
It's on the way to the Gallu waterfall you just can't miss it, and 5 min away from the Gallu temple. One of the best halti-falti ("pizza") of the area, I just had to wait a bit for the oven to get hot. Let's be honest, you come for the view! A few levels to sit and chill and enjoy a unique sunset

Overall experience is too good foods and all kinds of snacks are very tasty but a bit costly however get these kind of stuff uphill is very rare thats why worth every single peny you spent.

The place to visit after a hike to the Galu waterfall (or on the way, or both). What a view! Very friendly host.

Nice tea shop to stop off at to and from the waterfall. The owner is a nice guy, been running the place for quite a few years. Beautiful views of naddi and the whole valley.

I recently stayed in Dharamkot for a week and Sunset Café quickly became my favorite spot. I visited almost daily to watch the beautiful sunsets from the café and I must say, it was a magical experience every time. The café offers a wide range of food options and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. The pizza was delicious, and I highly recommend it. The chai and orange juice were also fantastic and offered a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring.
I would definitely recommend Sunset Café to anyone visiting Dharamkot and looking for a great place to enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful place at the end of a short walk from Gallu Temple. They have also started serving REALLY delicious pizzas and it makes the walk worth even more! Reach an hour/half before the sunset and enjoy a chai/GLH as you watch the day retreat into peaceful rest.

It's a nice place for spending time with love ones or even a solo, view is mind-blowing, you can enjoy sunset or sunrise also. I reached there after completed my meditation course so I'm feeling amaze the view was just like i don't have words guys

After a long trek at Triund valley, the locals suggested this point - The Sunset Cafe, Dharamkot, which is apparently the only place in Upper Dharamkot, where you can catch the sunset with the clearest view!

We decided to take a chance and trek!
The mountains were quite slippery but we finally reached.

I was expecting something fancy but all we found was a hut! Raw and peaceful.
3 beautiful dogs, lo-fi music, tea and Maggi!

An awesome place nestled somewhere amidst the hills. A kind of place you hope you'd discover but keep on getting disappointed by the commercialisation around!

Here are few tips if you’re planning to visit this beauty!
1. Keep the cash handy, they don't accept online payments
2. Best timing would be between 3 PM and 7 pm. I would highly advice to leave before 6 pm though as it's difficult to trek after the sunset!

Peaceful place with amazing sunset view. Even great place for morning coffee. Surrounded with oak and rhododendron forest.

This Cafe offers you pizza and coffee (rear at that height)
you have to trek to reach at this point, you can also hire a taxi till a certain point

Nice location. You can their pizza and nice coffee. Adam is nice and jolly guy. You can have one of best sun set view in entire area. Very comfortable and cozy sitting arrangements.

I did not take any food from there but view from sunset cafe was very good. You can enjoy sunset from there. It's between trek to Galli waterfall.

The tranquility of this place is best enjoyed in the evening watching the sun set on the horizon, listening to good music and feeling the serene nature around

You have to trek from upper dharamkot till this place, it serves great tea and it will be a snow trek if you visit anytime between late december to mid february.

A cafe with an apt name. Best place in Dharamkot to catch the sunset and definitely worth the hike.

Most days I would show up at this place, grab a seat with the best sunset view and sip on my GLHT (Ginger lemon honey tea).

Other than that I have tried their Maggi and like most places in the hills, it tastes amazing.

I had a really huge expectations from the place. But in all its just a spot on the road with a popular name.

A small cafe with good maggi and tea on the menu, the cafe faces the valley and the sunset view through its window stays etched forever. The cafe owner is too warm and welcoming.

Beautiful view of the sunset. I'd recommend the Ginger Lemon Honey Tea. Great place to end a long day of communing with nature.

Perfect place to witness sunset with breathtaking views of the mountains. You can chill out here for hours together.

Best sceneries from the cafe, with delicious tea (must try), very welcoming and kind responces from the cafe people. A must visit

This cafe has a distinguished vibe, to rest here after the trek. They just don't have normal prices for the food and edibles. Though you can rest here and chill up with some sandwiches, omelette, watermelon juice etc etc.

What a stunning place this cafe is located at. The sunsets here are very cool as is the food & the whole ambience. It is in the middle of nowhere & hence less touristy. Located about 10 minutes from Gallu Devi temple will recommend this place highly.

Also known as Gallu Cafe, it can be pretty empty on odd days and hence peaceful. Hike to the place came be but tiring, however there is road way to reach thru bike & car till certain point. Try going in evening to view sunset.

You can witness the most magnificent sunset from here if in Dharamsala. Try their noodles. It's best. Cheers (:

The Best Sunset of the Valley! The owner is one of the most wonderful locals in this valley. You must try the local thali here.

Sunset Cafe is a beautiful place in the lapse of dhauladhar it is situated on the way to upper galu waterfall. If you want to enjoy the sunset visit this place and enjoy sunset with a cup of tea.

Great food and incredible view. Make sure to take a taxi back to McLeod Ganj if heading back at night as the road is very dark and the locals noted a risk of bears!
