It was wonderful place to live at. Though it was adventurous reaching at the resort but it's highly recommended place for calmness and nature. The owner and the staff were at the door step for any kind of service.

Just a two day stay in this charming boutique property nestled in nature can completely detox your mind and reboot a stressed system. Wilderness is a simply gorgeous property that wins on all accounts: it’s location -bang on Tannijubar lake, in the heart of pine forests and apple orchards, away from hustle bustle. Its hospitality- The owners Zoya and her dad Rajesh Mukhyan ensure all guests are catered to with utmost care and concern. The food is delicious- tasty, wholesome and fresh. The decor the property will make you want to stop and click at every turn. It’s pretty, tastefully done, with a fairy tale old world touch. Service is attentive and professional.
The owners friendly dogs Maggie and Tanana add a special touch for dog lovers. Take walks around the lake, eat at the food van, and hop across to the Eco park for rejuvenating walks in the pine forest.
Wilderness was a memorable pleasurable stay, made all the more wonderful by Zoya’s personal touch and company.

Amazing place to detox yourself from daily hustle bustle of life. Superb view of snow covered mountains and apple orchids.

This is an exquisite property tucked in the vicinity of Tannijubbar lake. The wilderness resort is tastefully constructed to provide a wonderful ambience and comfort. It enjoys cosy sitting places be it facing the mountains, a well stocked library room, a meeting room on the way to the dinner hall. Rooms are well designed, fitted with all necessary gadgets. The bathroom is very spacious and spotlessly clean. On the whole wilderness resort offers a very good weekend gateway!

The wilderness is heaven on earth. Very tastefully designed, stunning views of the icecap mountains. Peaceful and serine. Best place to unwind for people looking to get way from the hustle bustle of a city life. This location has less people and more nature to experience. This place is worth every superlative word you can think off.

I have just been touched with the bench mark of the service and comfort provided at wilderness towards my recent stay in Sep 2022. I can guarantee even the 5 star resort or hotel cannot provide. So. So.humble and courteous staff. From booking to the check out it was just the awesome experience I had. Such a blissful place surrounded by beautiful lake and devdar trees.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the owner & staff Members. All of the people are incredibly helpful.

Nice place to visit with family, friends and colleagues. If you want peace and want to see natural beauty visit this place. Services and food is best here in wilderness and staff is very supportive specially Mr. Mukesh, during our visit he supported us in everything we need.

The place is a little piece of heaven.whether it is the open starry skies or the fruit laden trees playing hide and seek with the passing clouds. The Tanu Jubbar lake is beautiful all year round and the peace and quiet alone are breathtaking. The staff is all smiles and always at your service and the owners have hearts of gold. True Himachali spirit in every sense. Take long walks around orchards, meditate next to the lake, lounge with a book or simply watch the clouds pass by. It is a place where spending a day or two makes no sense and you will find yourself coming back. The only hope is that the guests honour this naturally quiet place and do not pollute it with loud music and noise.

Just Amazing! One of the best experiences i ever had. Beautiful landscape, pretty location, food: just out of this world, the variety, the taste! Never had anything like this before. Also the staff is sooo efficient and friendly. Worth visting. Will come back for sure!

I stayed there for 2 days.there is no room service even their food is very tasteless.zero maintenance.please don't waste u r Money.

Awesome place to spend some relaxing time with your loved ones. I have been here recently for my Anniversary, location is great, Views from the resort are great. There is nothing i can suggest to improve.also not to mention the Staff, which is very supportive and polite, they Greet you well and make you feel welcomed with their warm wishes.

Wonderful property in Baghi with beautiful view to die for.family rooms are super king size with oil heater, electric blankets and everything you require in a hill station.we get a nice breakfast with Himachali dishes including Sidhu.staff is really good and professional.overall 4star for this wonderful property.

Wow, An amazing boutique property. Would say a hidden gem, Complete tranquility and deep in woods. Kudos to property owners.

1. Best staff. Special mention to Mr Umesh, Abhijeet for their help throughout the stay

2. Very beautiful layout. Has plenty of breathtaking views, small plantation and trekking paths within the compound.

3. Very good food. Very good options for breakfast and dinner if you are staying here. For those who are not there is a small cafe that has basic snacks

4. This is a place to sit back, relax and rejuvenate yourself. A simple request to the guests who are planning to stay here is to maintain the neatness and discipline the place deserves. Believe me the staff here spends every minute of their day to keep their customers happy. This is the least that can be done.

The Wilderness- Narkanda- 'a little paradise' tucked away in the mountains. From the time we entered the premises, we couldn't help taking pictures. It is so pretty!
The rooms are large and airy, sheets and towels were clean, there was hot water available at all times.
The staff are extremely polite & the food is simple but lovely. We, especially loved the himachali delicacies like- siddu and channa madra. A word about the owners- they were extremely helpful and assisted us whenever we called.

This boutique resort is a getaway worth remembering. Right from the experience with the perfect hostess to the staff who make you feel at home.

The rooms have a beautiful, unaltered view of valleys, a lake and nearby orchards.

Breathtaking view and comfortable beds. This place offers the best of stays one can expect in wilderness.

We were served hot and fresh food straight from kitchen. As we were walk-in guest, the cook prepared a quick wholesome dinner for us prior discussing our preference. Every chapati came fresh out of kitchen to our plates. No delays.

While we enjoyed Bonfire, we were offered speakers if we wanted to play some light music. Kudos to the caretaker. He made sure we enjoy our stay at this beautiful place. Extra star only for him.

We had an amazing experience staying at Wilderness, Narkanda for 2 nights. The location is exceptional because of its proximity to the lake and it is a little offbeat so perfect if you wish to spend some quality time with nature in tranquility. The service here was simply heart warming and food was great too. I will definitely go back there again in summers to witness the beautiful blooming apple and cherry orchards. A must visit place for nature lovers.

Over priced.lunch was order at 2 pm Nd was served at 4 pm that too without chapati.inspite of regular follow up tata sky was not charged.badly maintained property.please don't waste your money.

The staff is very young, polite and offer great hospitality! We had two friends who were jain and they prepared food as per their restrictions! The food was very tasty and yummy! Me and my wife had our engagement anniversary on the day we were visiting and I informed them to do a small decoration in the room which they did without any extra cost! The hotel is isolated from Narkhanda so avoid reaching there after sunset. The view from from our room in the morning was just mesmerizing!

One of the best stay I had in my life. Went to the place with my wife. Our mai goal was to enjoy the nature and we were not at all dissappointed. The resort is at the best possible place it could be in the hills. Close to a lake where you can walk and sit and nourish nature to the fullest. The staff is so friendly and polite. Kumesh gave us the best hospitality. Owners are wonderful. Food is amazing. The most amazing part are the dogs. Heidi, Tanana and Maggi are just the cutest. All in all we had an amazing time. It is the exactly the place one would imagine before coming. Setup in midst of lush green hills, lake in front, followed by a safe forest trail, its nothing short of heaven.
The host, zoya and the entire staff especially Mukesh are extremely courteous.
Big appreciation for such an outstanding hospitality.

Location, views, staff, service, cleanliness and food all were 5* The reasons why I've given it a 3/5 rating are 1) I didn't appreciate that they charge Rs 500/- for an hour at the bonfire. Of all my visits in the mountains of India this is only the 2nd time I've faced this. One travels to the mountains to enjoy the cold, the views, the peace and the warm hospitality of the people there. When a lodge/homestay/hotel charges for bonfire it just seems to me that it has lost its mountain soul to capitalism. A room rate of 6000/- per night should include a bonfire. In all the other places on this trip (Shimla/Tirthan/Gushaini) the bonfire was kept running for as long as we liked and no extra charge. 2) The view from balcony of the room is amazing. However.we were given a room just below dining/kitchen area.it was rather noisy, before/during/just after meal times. Also, please don't play bhangra music at dinner time in a closed dining area.

This beautiful property is nestled among fruit orchards along a sloping mountainside. The location itself is off the beaten track but accessible from the road. Once you reach, its another world. Truly one of the best places to stay for a while in solitude.
The food was well made and felt like home. The dinning and lounge area are tastefully done and infuses warmth the moment you enter. Lovely spaces outside to lounge and take in the sun or just while away your time reading a book or just do nothing.at peace.

I was travelling with my family (Mom and younger brother), we called Rajesh to check about road conditions etc.as we din wanted to drive or walk on snow filled roads as we were travelling with family.he was 100% sure roads are clear and car will reach the hotel parking without any issue.anyways it was a misinformation the roads were filled with snow but anyway when we saw the hotel board we again called him to check how to proceed as it seemed like car wont go but he was 100% sure that even non localites can easily take the car to hotel.we asked if walking will be better he said no, car will go easily, anyways hardly 100 m and we got stuck as the road was slippery due to ice so we called him again and thats when he told he s not at property and is travelling to otehr location so he dont know teh live condition, we were like u just said 5 mins before u know, anyways we requested him to send someone for help, Sunny and Mukesh (these two saved the stay) came after 40 mins and helped us to park car and reach the hotel.also there is no hot or cold water as most of times pipes are freezed, they supply water in buckets for all stuff
but still worst part was being humiliated at for no reason and then being stuck there with no where to go in that weather

We simply loved your place. It was very comfortable cozy and airy at the same time. All the arrangements you made regarding our stay and activities were excellent. At a height of 9000 ft, when getting even the basic necessities can be a task, you managed to spoil the 30 of us with great hospitality and a wide variety of food. The pahadi food which we had twice was delicious. Our rooms beds and blankets were very comfortable. The view outside each room is breathtaking. We have filled our lungs up to the brim with pure Himalayan air.the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Special mention of Sunny who took care of our small needs and who was always running for the entire duration of our stay. Yoga at various locations was a highlight. From eco park, to the terrace, to the front and back, we practiced everywhere without any disturbance.

The place narkanda is a must visit and the wilderness a must stay.

It was great interacting with both Zoya and Rajeshji and the last dance that you all performed for us will stay in our hearts for a long long time.

Suffice to say that we'll be back, may be in a different season, may be with some different company but at this same place.

It's a beautiful property in the lap of nature surrounded by apple and cherry orchards. You will be enthralled by the vivid roses grown at every nook and corner of the resort. A quite place to relax and meditate for nature lovers. We stayed in a family room which was quite big with perfect view from all sides. The view of apple trees from the room was treat to eyes and an experience to remember. They provide freshly prepared tasty home style food and also look after if there is any specific request from the guest. The staff is courteous and helping. The caretaker sunny has been very helping, a very soft spoken staff and gives personalized touch by his warm hospitality which enhanced my experience of wilderness and felt 'At home'. I found it worth and carrying wonderful memories to cherish.

It's not that, place is bad, but, few people over there does not know. We are Indians. We know that guest is equal to God. We booked like entire resort. You people doesn't understand that in a group of 30 people with 12 children in it. You what do you expect. There is very big problem with you people. YOUR EGO IS BIG ENOUGH YOU CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO SAY. YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THEN, AND YOU will not understand now. You lack hospitality and it is not my fault that i thought that people will be good who has good place. In the end I can only say place is good but to be frank some of people over there are worst people in industry. So I can give my review to people who are planning to go to wilderness resort. Place is good but owners lack hospitality. They are bad.

The sole purpose of summer vacation is to eradicate the brooding melancholy. Our motives were to stay away from the Scorching heat in company of our besties (cousins' gang).
Our enthusiasm was at its pinnacle and surely the verberations of hymns sung by us in the hired luxury bus were echoing the soothing atmosphere. We were ready for a mesmerizing experience.
Alas! All were expectations were ruined by a bad choice. Very much true to its name, The Wilderness offered us the worst nightmare.
Our room was very much in vicinity of Kitchen. The tympanic membrane protruding sounds welcomed us. Our bottle feeding baby was as restless by this Relentless sound. We tried to pacify our mood by staying in the room of our family member but at that juncture when we were to forget our bad experience, another horrendous thing happened. Now it was the chef who was disturbed by our gossiping. What the hell we were doing there?
Were we in a hostel or in a prison, where warden behaves arbitrarily.
The pride of being a guest was ruined at every moment by them. The most unprofessional staff was mercilessly ruining our every moment. Moreover, they are not even in the category of homosapiens for the ruthless behavior they showed with kids. Resorts are booked for unfettered movement of kids, they restricted the natural process of joy.
At this point the poignant note is that we have been devastated by this unprofessionally managed wilderness. And we do not suggest it even when offered for free.

Its a lovely quiet place tucked away near a lake. We discovered it by chance and loved it. Besides some minor glitches in the stay, It was overall a nice place. The daughter of the owner was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable.
