The Yatri Niwas

Very good stay with in-house restaurant serving fresh, tasty and home like meals. Very approachable from main road. Lovely view of Chamunda ji and nearby flowing stream (khad) along with beautiful snow covered Dhauladhar mountains. Well behaved and helpful staff.

For any place to be desired by any traveller, they need to be at worthy location, should have neat & clean room with amenities and quick/good service. This place has got nearly all of these things. Some things may still be needed in terms of other private hotels but pls remember if you are there in transit or to visit Chamunda Mata ji Temple - stay wise/food wise and location wise it is the best & affordable deal.

Very good place for small functions like birthday, house parties. View from yatri nivas is very beautiful. Chamunda temple is very near from this property.

We arranged lunch for our guests and they enjoyed it to the best, however food was little costly if compared to the similar set up. Overall good hospitality. Thanks Mr. Balbir for all your efforts

It's a hotel which looks beautiful from outside. It's a old stone building with same age furniture and rooms. The maintenance of the place is good. From inside but still the place cannot get more than 3 stars in my rating style. The hotel have it's own parking space and it's only 1 km from chamunda Devi temple. 15 km from dharamshala. The staff is nice though and if I'll stay I would prefer to eat out somewhere instead of this place.

Nice hotel at a very good location n near to Chamunda Devi temple. Rooms are spacious n clean. Bathroom is big n clean. Room service is also available. But only con is that food is too costly there. If you want than they also arrange for sightseeing for you.

Visited first time in June 2016. Great stay. Simple n serene. Kind staff, nice location, good food and decent rooms. And all set to visit again in 2019.

It is a nice place to stay around. Also it has a memserising view of the temple behind and is surrounded by lush green environment.

Stayed at The Yatri Niwas, near Chamunda Devi Temple in January 2019. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and supportive and helpful staff. Had a very comfortable stay. Manager Mr Tek Chand Thakur { if I remember the name correctly} showed great hospitality. Next visit to India, I will be staying in the same hotel. Well done Himachal Tourism.

Small budget hotel with 5 doubles rooms, 1 room for four guests and 1 dormitory. The staff is courteous and homely. Restaurant has a limited menu but all the food is freshly prepared and is delicious. Rooms are spacious and the hotel has a river facing view (which is a delight). The hotel is around 30 minute drive away from Dharamshaala, hence calm and less noisy.

This hotel is under himachal tourism. It's a small hotel but the service and staff behavior is very good. The food in the hotel is heavily overpriced, but their royal service will satisfy the price you paid. I enjoyed here alot

Liked the place the view is awesome can't be expressed in words and to be specific the hotel is not at dharamshala rather downhill close to chamunda devi
