They are positioned amazingly other than that there is nothing you would find worth while.

Waste of money. The location was good but the service, the rooms, the treatment that we got was trash this hotel is the worst place We paid so much but we got the worst rooms the worst certains, TV was not cleaned everything was in the worst condition the toilet wasn't clean. The room was not clean it had a lot of dust. They don't have most of the facilities they show and they charge heavily for things they said we're complementary. Wonderful location for a Sunday outing near chandigarh. Lovely scenery and serene surroundings.

Awesome place. Can enjoy as a whole if you can book a resort there. We visited as a visitor. Costs Rs 1050 per head for ropeway. Can enjoy the hill view and nature. All resorts are luxury type and restaurants are too costly. Can stay upto 2hrs. Beyond that they charge extra.

I felt the essence of natural purity and beauty, when I visited these Shivalik ranges of Himalayas.a peaceful place in the district Solan of Himachal Pradesh. A breathtaking cable car ride across the valley, trekkig through the forest ranges, mouthwatering dinner at Timber Trail Heights and Terraces.an eventful day I had here.

Worthless if your are not staying in the hotel. No much scenic spots. Don't waste your money. Only the cable car is a different experience.

Not worth the money if one is not staying up. Because most of the places are not open for tourists except the restaurant which is quite the expensive one.

It was just ok! The rooms are not worth it, cheap quality curtains, doors etc, which can be overlooked if you get satisfactory things. There is no activity there, just a good view. Also, they do not let you explore their property fully. (which never happens in other hotels as far I have experienced till now).
The main attraction is of cable car service which is provided by them once a day.

I felt it would have been a great experience for us if they would have some activities over there for passing time. Few activities were there which were paid and costly if anyone wants to use it.

I would suggest to the authorised people that they should include some activities in the package so that the visitors do not feel bored and lonely.

I booked the wrong property in error (timber trail resort), and the staff at heights offered to get me an upgrade since both are sister concern. I was ready to pay the difference, but when I made up my mind, the people at front desk refused to upgrade and rather asked me to pay the full price. Have been to a lot of good properties, but then, you can't expect honestly and customer service of high end properties from such resorts. Avoid.

Awesome retreat in the Mountains.must visit for clean green and beautiful environment.caution- it's costly so check out the budget beforehand.but in the end it's worth it.one star deducted for slippery tiles in the washroom!

Very expensive cable car ride, which doesnt have A. C, its suffocating inside the cable car. The hotel at the end of the ride is excellent but extremely expensive.

A short yet mesmirising journey uphill on the cable car- in and out of clouds during the monsoons- lands you on top of the hill. Do not confuse this place with its lower cousin situated on the highway- the base station of the cable car. The whole place is peaceful and inviting you to relax. The view of the valley below and lush green hills during the monsoons is enchanting. The open area, the bar and restaurant all offer these magnificent view. After sunset, hope for clear weather and immerse yourself in star gazing with exceptional views of the sky above and city lights below. The night view of the valley from the rooms is surreal so sleep with curtains open. Food is good, service is unobtrusive and unhurried. Get up early and take a walk on the road going down to base to get rewarded with sights and experience of tiny villages on the way. Overall, an experience with great value for money.

Nice and quiet place to relax. Stayed in Jr deluxe rooms. Only drawback is that people from upper rooms keep on throwing garbages in your terrace which is otherwise very beautifully placed. The problem is with the room that is supposed to be for kids. Otherwise very nice food and prompt service not to mention the ropeway ride.

Experience serenity in midst of clouds. You need to be here to experience the same. True heaven - Timbertrail Parwanoo. Himachal you rock!

Loved it. Food is great. Property is huge to roam around, enjoyed badminton cricket and indoor pool carrom. Cable car is lifetime experience.

Reception staff was very rude
They even charged for baby food which is not chargeable in any good hotels and resort
They were outright rude abt it.
Even Miss Priya at reception said if we want we can post this review she was hardly bothered.

The food and hospitality is not upto the mark. They are charging really high from the guest by they are not giving the services like that

It's a luxury place and u have to experience it at least once in a lifetime with your loved ones. Everything about this place is just perfect and cant be described in words, you have to be there to experience it!

Megnificent and memrising experience!

The property is well build on the top of the hill and rooms are available with all super-managed amenities. This place is perfect to cherish the nature with your loved ones. Breakfast buffet is one of the awesome thing.

View from the top in night is magical and you will surely love. Whether is chilled as compared to main National Highway. There is open tarrace bar available which is a bit costly could put a hole in your pocket.

Every single penny send over here is worth.

Hi guys. I wish I could give negative star its is the worst property yaar they just make you mad I ordered 9 eggs n they have charged me 897 rs for those egg.their sandwich will cast you 600 rupees.guys agar apne c bana hai toh visit this place other wise don't worst experience

Pathetic service, was raining cats and dogs, the hotel staff is not even considerate to provide umbrellas or golf car to guest coming to dine in citing reasons they are reserved for guests only.

It was nice one day trip over there. Captivating with beautiful landscapes. Mountains and the view from terrace was breathtaking.

We came here to celebrate our daughters birthday. Our children were so excited for the celebration.but on reaching here, we were highly disappointed. It was raining here and no one actually was there to guide the guests and we had to look for our rooms ourselves and carry our own luggage with any provision of umbrellas We all got drenched.and the receptionists clarified that we are busy in other wedding functions. If that was the case, why did they book the rooms in the first place? The bar terrace attendants paid no heed to the needs of the private guests.very gloomy environment.there’s no point coming here with the children.pathetic room service. Not worth the extravagant amount they charge! Will never recommend to anyone in future.

Nice getaway for one day visit from delhi or neighbour states. If you are visit for ropeway only then Try hotels in parwanoo city which is 1 km from there. They are much cheaper. Around 1000 rupees.

The cable car ride is good, five star for the ride. However the restaurant and the staff aren't customer friendly. When I visited, there was an ongoing marriage party and we were not being allowed to visit most of the areas in the premise.

If you go by road they charge you Rs one thousand per head as cover charges.
I had gone there to book 10 rooms and wanted to talk to the manager but surprisingly no one turned up. It seems they don't want business. Very rude of them.
They didn't let me enter the gate without paying Rs 1000.

Booked the cottage, spacious rooms, well maintained, with a great view of the sunset. Breakfast spread is good with options in North and South Indian, Fruits, Eggs and Cereals, limited menu for Lunch and Dinner. Food quality is good. Overall worth the experience

The trail is beautiful and the resort on top of the hill is beautiful too. The vibes the place and the experience is just breathtaking.

I have been to many hotel and resorts in my life but this is a first for me in an alleged 4 star hotel
Even 3 star give free wifi not to mention other 4 star and 5 star hotels

This place is good for views and photography. To ride cable car it cost 1100rs per person and kids above 3 year 900rs. A cable car take 15 ppl to the heights at once. If you willing to eat let me tell you a plate of manchurian cost 550rs excl tax and plz don't order non-veg platter costed me 1200rs excl tax. Both items are over priced and waste of money. Not a worthy place for enjoyment. Too expensive, rating only for views.

It was great to see scenic beauty from top and team building activities along with cool and clean environment is fantastic.

Far more costly than the quality of suites here. Food quality was good and staff was courteous but everything is costlier than it should be.

Nice place to be at peace with nature. Private rooms like cabins. Nice service though a bit slow. Only downfall is the trolley service is only available during check in and check out for free. Remaining times you have to pay an exorbitant amount to go out!

OVERPRICED. Cable car ride costs Rs1180 and the experience was just okay.

There are adventure activities and restaurants but none of the staff is really interested in serving you.
Special mention is the person who runs the adventure activities -he is more interested in the phone than giving you information about the activities.

Go there if you have nothing else to do or want to experience I would say the most expensive cable car ride in India.

I just recently visited the Timber Trail Heights with a couple of my friends for taking a break off from the hustle bustle of life in Delhi. I had vacated at their Moksha Spa Resort with my family earlier and since we found it to be expensive, we friends booked the Timber Trail Heights this time, hoping it to be a cheaper option this time. But to my utter dismay, it wasn't.
As we were three people, we thought of booking the Junior Suite room (they have only this option for suite) for the stay purpose, since we considered the definition as quoted by Oxford dictionary as 'A SET Of ROOMS'. And the pictures posted on their official website also gave the impression that it was large enough to cater to the needs of three people.
But reaching the hotel and entering our room, we were in for a rude shock. The 'suite' was just a small SINGLE room with an attached balcony and a tiny extension of it, serving as the so called living room. The room was so small, that they had a problem adjusting the extra bed for the third person as well. The bathroom wasn't great either and it was the size of a bathroom which you would find in a lower ranked guest house with even the facilities similar to that! And all this for 15K for one night! I mean you can get a fabulous room in any five star hotel, for a lesser price!
Since I had been to Moksha before, and hence, assumed the management to be courteous enough to listen to our grievances, we approached the reception and contacted the manager. But to the greatest shock of this whole experience, the manager was so rude and arrogant, that he almost made us feel like ' I don't care a bit about how our guests feel like, and just go f*** yourself'.
To expect this kind of a behaviour from a well reputed chain like 'Asia Resorts' was discouraging and happened to tell us how money minded this all is, and all this, despite being their guests before.

Truly Pathetic & Cringe worthy.

The lone one star is for their restaurant and the indoor and outdoor games which we happened to play and enjoy.

Just two words ' DON'T VISIT'. It is a much better option to find a room in Chandigarh or Kasauli and enjoy your stay at a far better hotel than this. Just visit this place for the cable car thing if you want that experience.

If u are looking for an escapade from Delhi/NCR or nearby Punjab/Haryana areas, this place can be of great help, where the crowd is minimal and weather is wonderful. It’s like weekend getting cozy and comfortable in nature’s lap. The food is just awesome and place is literally green and quiet.

Booked the TERRACE hotel.
Property is very nice. But the staff recently has become stringent and grumpy, bordering on rude.
Have been here before, but since me, wife nd kids Checked in the hotel yesterday, all we r hearing is.don't do this, you're not allowed to go there, nd.to top it all, at the breakfast today.a manager had the audacity to ask my wife "WHY HAVE YOU WASTED THE HALF A PLUM BY LEAVING IT IN THE PLATE", when we had already told them that the plum had gone bad. Nd then the rude reminder call for checkout at 11: 00 am. When you pay premium price thinking that the so called resort property is premium, this is certainly not the kind of behaviour that is expected in the hotel industry. Very Dissapointed with the visit.

It is around 25 kms from Chandigarh. Easily reachable through bus/car/bike. The ticket for 2 way trolley ride is 1180 per adult and the ticket is valid for 2 hours. There is an open terrace restaurant at the top with mesmerizing view though the food is much more expensive. There is also a small cafe that offers snacks which fits the budget very well. Not the entire property at the top is open for tourist. Maximum portion is restricted to the guest of the Moksha Hotel only. The total experience is worth spending 1250

This is the best visiting place for a couple. As the place is at height, there is no phone signal. So the place kinda provide a privacy. And the breakfast, lunch and dinner was just super duper awsm. The food quality is just beyond level. The breakfast is just above everything. And quality of food was very good. The service was very good. And the rooms are quite clean and spacious. Room service is also very good.

Good experience. Enjoyable ride but overpriced. ₹1200 for each adult and ₹1000 for each child seems not worth. If you can afford you must go at least once.
