Living on the river side surrounded by almost no commercialisation, its one of the best places if you just want to go there to take a pause from the hectic city life. Its blissful. The sound of the river flowing against the silence of the forest, its like sitting in in the middle of a dense forest, you just got food and essentials to survive and live.

It's one of the wonder in Himachal Pradesh as you can live in a peaceful place with snow peaks and a beautiful river. Muc better than crowded Manali or Shimla however be careful while going there as the locals there are mostly not honest rather addicted to loot tourist. I had a very poor experience with a home stay #Tirthan_Valley_Homestay at Gusyani. So my suggestion will be to stay in hotel run by professional so that you can enjoy the plece in peace of mind

There is something about Tirthan Valley. It is quaint, quiet and peaceful. It’s just known to be beautiful.
Tirthan Valley has the charm of old school town filled with tenderness in every corner.

Tirthan Valley is the National Park of Himachal Pradesh which Includes Sainj, Banjar, Jibhi, Shoja Valleys in it and this is the best Valley where you can truly connect to the people's of valleys and know their rituals.

Loved the place. Stayed at All view cottage alongside of the river. Crossing this river was so fun, I really enjoyed. I'll have to go over there again.

Away from the chaos of crowd & gatherings. This is a peaceful place, so just get your homestay sorted & definitely you would love to spend few weeks here. Also, the valley has amazing attractions (via treks) like- Chhoie Waterfall (Sharchi), Meadows at Barasadi, Jamala in Sharchi village are breathtaking. The chhoie waterfall is a good experience, stretched over 4 kms (walking trails + roads) from Gushaini Market. It opens up into the Great Himalyan National Park (GHNP) which has like a wide variety of Flaura & Fauna. So the greenery surrounding this waterfall trek will amaze you.
Pekhri road has an amazing view from the top too. It takes around 9 kms from Gushaini Market to reach to Pekhri. I visited in (July'21) monsoon & witnessed lovely weather. Got to try amazing fruits like- Plums (aloo- bokhara), Apple, Pears.
Overall the beauty around is amazing & people are so welcoming too! If you are planning to WFH from this location just get your jio topped-up, the speed here is above 30 mbps.
One thing to make sure is you have sufficient cash with you, as there are no ATM with only a SBI bank with withdrawal facility. You won't be needing cash to make payments for homestays & shops coz they accept Gpay & other merchant apps. But again having sufficient cash would be surely comforting for longer stays & any such emergencies.

It's a beautiful location in himachal. Not so crowded. Beautiful cottages are available here. To enjoy the nature one should visit this place.

Well it's a beautiful place. River flowing by your side and if your guide is good he will take you riverside as he will know his way down. Also, their is organic machine there which works with water flow and crushes the wheat to form the flour. I am sharing few of my images. Some have sunset views, this point come on your way towards the valley. You can easily find as it is a cliff which helps you to view sunset very clearly.

For those who chose to camp for the first time, fear not. Most of the resorts have option of riverside camping within their limits where you are safe and in a certain comfort zone. The staff can help with the arrangements and food and everything. Just sit back and relax and enjoy your time in Tirthan.

Wonderful place for the vacations. Its beauty is the peace and silence. You will not get the good markets here but if you want to enjoy the time in the lap of nature than it's a perfect place.

Best place to visit if you want to stay in woods into deep forest. Must try is trekking and staying atleast a night in camp.

Best kept secret of himachal.go only if u love trekking.choiee waterfall was 2 km trek but very very beautiful. GNHP is not very special but the trek is better.lake trek is tiring ant not difficult as well so u get bored along the way.but lake is beautiful

A small town in Himachal Pradesh, away from City hustle and bustle. Calm and cool temperature, breath fresh. River side view, mountains. Around 13-14 hour drive from Delhi, must stay for 3-4 days.

If you wants to spend some days with nature in a peaceful environment then I strongly recommend this place.

Just Raw nature and you will fall in love with this place. This place is not over crowded peaceful place only sound you can hear is of great river. This sound is magical. Sounds of birds are also too good. This place is close to The Great Himalayan National park. There are nice trekking places too where the trackers can enjoy.

Tirthan valley is known as the valley of God. There are many treks in tirthan valley. Great himalayan national park is also in tirthan valley.

This place is awesome, less crowded place in Himachal called gushaini, we enjoyed a lot in front of river and a beautiful waterfall near gushaini called 'chhoi'.

One of the finest and purest and uncommercialised area. I would request Traveller to stay here atleata 4-5 days to enjoy nature and peace serenity,
Also avoid using plastic, if u want to enjoy do take care of alcoholic beverages don't just throw it on road or in valley, put in garbage only to make this valley pure and clean

Awesome place for adventure junkies and ones in search of peaceful offbeat cool place. Definitely not a party place.

Thats some magical place for self time and a cool vacation if you are looking for a gateway for friends and family both. Not much commercialized and more on the silent side. Must visit place.

It's a good place to visit in Himachal Pradesh. There is National Wildlife Sanctuary Park. You need to take a permission from local office and you need to take an Guide along with You. It's very good place

तीर्थन नदी के अग़ल-बग़ल चलना, पानी का कलरव, नेशनल बोटैनिकल के लिये समय निकाल कर आयें।

The valley is a beautiful place to
visit and take a restful break. There is only below average fishing as they have messed up the river with unplanned construction right upto the riverbanks all over the place. There is a soil conservation problem due to this and half the mountain on the opposite side under the Great Himalayan National Park is just slipping into the river causing the river to get silted. Rainbow trout and local brown trout are bred and stocked in the same river which is not feasible as rainbow trout are cannibalistic and end up depleting the entire indegenious brown trout population.
The river is prone to flash floods which again washes out all the fish population. Land slips and unplanned construction adds to woes.
The valley is beautiful but tourism is unregulated and undisciplined with mushrooming guest houses offering substandard accommodation and food. Crowding is the common effect and spoils the beautiful valley.
