Tara Homestay was the BEST part of the trip. From the warm and welcoming owners who happily catered to all our demands to the most delicious and homely food and clean hygienic rooms, Tara Homestay was a complete package. The location of the homestay near the river bed was its highlight. Although some 20km from Jalori pass, I would choose Tara Homestay if I ever visit Tirthan valley again!

Wonderful Experience, Worth of visit, once you reach at this site, your tiredness will fly away and you will be amazed to see view. The host family is very humble, supportive, Caring.

Tara Homestay is a riverside, authentic homestay, where you live with Himachali local family, in a very homely environment. I booked this place for 1 night but stayed 3 nights and cancelled another itinerary from our list due to its beautiful surroundings.
Most of the homestays in Tirthan Valley work like1-star hotels now. You will find 4-5 degrees Celcius lower temperatures than Banjar, and Nagini-Gushaini because Green deodar trees surround them.
Cleanliness of Linen: Very Good

Courtyard - enough for family activities
Food - Very Good and homely
They have their own trout fish Farm and you can have it on order.

Good place nice stay, hot water and power are there, good food, staff was helpful, river is within one minute and u get river view from mostly all rooms and balcony. U cn ask them for troutfishing also. Over all good. Thankyou bhaiya and reena

I had a great experience while staying at Tara Homestay. This is just next to Tirthan river and we can see the beautiful view of the river flowing. The food served is very delicious. Last-minute bookings are a mess! You generally reach your destination with the least amount of expectation. We did the same to the Tara homestay in the Tirthan valley. Little did we know that this last-minute booking would become an everlasting memory. This homestay is about 10 km ahead of Jibhi, but it was all worth the extra drive. Built at just the right altitude, we got the best view of the mountains, the river Sainj, and lush greenery. But, the most amazing part of the homestay was the warmth and hospitality of the people attending to us. They are a family of 6 and all are equally warm and caring. They took care of all our needs and even wants. The lady cooked simple yet so satisfying and delicious homely meals. The rooms were decently clean. All in all, indeed a comfortable "home"stay. That's the thing about simplicity. Sometimes the simplest of things make for the best stays and memories. I will always remember the Tara homestay and it's owners because it was them who made my stay comfortable so I could explore the valley. Highly recommended.

Tara Homestay is a very nice and quiet place to be for people who enjoy to have Nature all around. The room and bathroom were clean and offered a stunning view over the landscape.
When it came to food it was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. What has to be mentioned is the trout farm of Tara Homestay for anyone who likes fresh fish. The prices were reasonable and the family running the place were very friendly and helpful.
I can absolutely recommend a stay there and I am looking forward to spend time there again on my next Trip to India.

It was perfect. Riverside homestay with a beautiful garden. We used to go near the river every morning just to be there.

Very delicious. Food was one of the reasons to book the homestay. We wanted to experience the homely food in beautiful surroundings.

Pahadi people are known for their hospitality. We stayed here for 10 days. We ate together, gossiped together.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay. We stayed and worked from there for all 10 days. Jio has very good mobile and internet connectivity there.

It was a wonderful and pleasant stay. The people taking care of you, are so caring and cheering. Food is delicious. The homestay is surrounded with sooo many trees, there is also a river. Perfect place for family as well as friends. Must visit.

We had a great experience at Tara Homestay. Property is located at serene and beautiful riverside. Rooms and bathrooms were well cleaned. Host (Mahendra bhaiya) was very polite and welcoming and the food served was delicious and sumptuous. They have their own trout fish farming beside the river. We had a bonfire at night and the host even arranged the speakers for us. It's a wonderful place to unwind and relax.
