Tirthan View Homestay

Friendly host, great home cooked food, spacious rooms with amenities, owner accompanies for sightseeing, picturesque view from room. Would definitely recommend, welcome change from staying in hotels with non-personalized service. Our family of 3 visited in July '23

We were a group 6 friends visited around mid June this year, I would like to share following things
Pros
-home and its construction quality was very nice, wooden furniture and balcony sitting was also good.

Cons
-owner and his son was humble but here is a catch, they were purely dishonest while charging for food and stuff,
While negotiating the per person price for stay we agreed for 1200/person which included breakfast and dinner adding 1 non veg meal

- stay alert while asking for anything extra because they might charge you 5 times of the normal price
In our case they charged 250/plate for 6 piece of small veg pakodas which we we have thought could be around 100-150 max in any ultra luxury restraunt or any off location, regretted later because we didn't asked for price before ordering.

-on second day evening we told owner's son for non -veg he said chicken is not available but egg is, so we said we'll have egg bhurji instead, but in night when we were served dinner which was also cold there was no egg bhurji,
And that not about a dish is not served, it's about honesty which was absent

-Check for the bill very carefully,
We have paid 1000 rs. Advance when we booked out stay via phone
They didn't deduct it from the final bill and we forgot about it when we paid the final bill when after returning we were accounting our expenses we remembered giving 1000 rs. Advance, I called both father and son and explained first they agreed but later for they kept ignoring calls till we gave up asking for money back.

-owner's son was only instrested in selling home made hash which he have asked me multiple times, but I refused.

Both father and Son are ignorant and dishonest, they are sweet thieves location was nice but our stay turned bitter when we were looted in the name of homestay

This homestay has very peaceful, clean, green & homely environment with delicious homemade food. Raju Bhai & all the other family members are very generous. Must visit the place.

This was my first trip to Tirthan Valley, Raju ji was the best host and this homestay has the bestest of the view, the whole family was very sweet and welcoming, Looking forward for the next trip very soon, I will suggest you to try this awesome place

A perfect homestay in the heart of Tirthan Valley. Host Raju bhai and his whole family will make every effort to make your stay comfortable. The location is very good with views of snow capped peaks, the river is 15 mins walk from the property. A special shout out to Kaku bhai for making delicious home style food. A must try experience.

Property is well maintained, walkable, well connected to road and have car parking facility.
Rooms are spacious, wooden Hut type structure. Has window and big washroom.
Rooms and washroom are very clean.

It is a wonderful place for vacation. The view of the valley is superb! The home stay itself is highly recommended. Raju bhaiya is a welcoming host and a very nice and helpful person. It is a safe and confortable environment!

A week-long sojourn in the Tirthan view homestay in the lap of the Himalayas was altogether a unique experience. Rajdev, Kuldeep and all the members of the family made our stay in the natural serene setting all the more memorable by their ever cordial attention to our comforts. Their delicious lips-smacking preparation of both veg and non-veg items were a real-treat. The scenic beauty of snow clad mountain peaks from the homestay will forever linger in our memories. Thanks that we chose the homestay.

My solo trip to Tirthan and stay at Tirthan view homestay are most wonderful days of my life. From the day of my enquiry, booking to the day I reached there, through out the stay I was looked after and taken care of like a family. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. All family members are loving and I used to look forward for meals, food cooked by Kuldeep. He is an excellent cook. I had delicious Rajma, Parathe, green veggies and Siddu was out of the world. I am touched by their care and warmth.

Beautiful place to stay. Host is very nice and the food made by his brother is also very tasty. Sarchi village is near to this location and we got heavy snowfall during our new year visit

This Homestay is just amazing, it has great views from rooms. Interior designs of rooms are so pretty. The Owner of the homestay, Raju Bhaiya is very welcoming & friendly, even baccha parties ️. It's a pet friendly homestay. I had yummy foods those were made by them only & the interesting part you can tell them your food preferences. I went there for the first time but it was giving me homely vibes.
I will visit again soon.

Raju Bhai and his complete family is taking care of guests and a very homely environment.
They have a cow, two dogs, and a beautiful Apple orchard.
Wooden rooms, well maintained.
Fire place for bonfires.
This place service is excellent.
Raju bhai takes you to near by attractions.
Great authentic Himachali food is prepared by his brother Kuldeep who is a great cook and does cooking as a hobby. Very professional cooking.
He offered me the best Siddu I ever had.
Raju bhai is not at all money minded he serves you whatever you need without counting which was the best thing.
However, after getting this kind of service you will not mind paying extra.
On day one I described the kind of Tea I drink and he got my taste and for the next 5 days I got exactly the same taste. I never felt I was away from home.
He also invited me into is home common area and made me have dinner with his family.
This is a perfect homestay, A real homestay.

There services were outstanding Raju sir has served with all his efforts and food cooked by his wife was very delicious we enjoyed a lot everything was very nice place, services, food, and etc.

It is a beautiful home stay at Tirthan valley. The location is excellent, you get a great view from the home stay of green mountains, snow clad mountains and stream flowing below it. It’s a bit higher up from the river but the view from there is amazing.
The place is very neat clean and hygienic and the washroom there is one of the best even better than the ones in good star rated hotels. The rooms have carpeted flooring and the bed and blankets are warm. The room is pretty spacious and they tables outside where you can sit and see the valley, mountains and streams. The food they cook is homely and tasty and they go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. They also make local dishes, so we get a taste of the local cuisine. They have good vegetarian and Jain cuisine too. Rajuji, his brother Kuldeep and their family make sure your stay is very comfortable. They also recommend places to see around, treks to do and activities to do.
The homestay is at a height and you have to walk up, but they are making a road till the place which should be ready soon.
Rajuji is a very enterprising and it’s a pleasure talking to him and knowing about life there and his journey about starting the homestay.
If anyone is visiting Tirthan valley I would definitely recommend this place to stay,

It was Our second day in the Valley of Tirthan, infact First Morning after having worst experience of stay at reputed Resort, we checked out from N were almost ready to move for search of next place to stay.
Then we met this magical person named Raju, passing through by our car while we inquiring from local people about the best place to stay. He was on his way to drop his children to school in his Car, it was God connection we met him otherwise would have deprived of this unforgettable experience.
It was beyond expectations, and something can not be described in words. It was home like experience, in such a short period of One Night n 2 days, I don’t think I could explain it more openly. The delicious Food Prepared by younger brother Mr. Kuldip with magical hands (Hats off bro), Tea (unforgettable, any time) with Evening Snacks (tempting, limitless), Dinner with family under the roof of ancient creature, warmth gesture of family members what else one can expect for such an economical stay.
I wish we could have stayed for longer.

Best stay in Tirthan. Hospitality from host Raju and family is superb. View is best from this homestay you will get view of snowcapped mountains along with river. Its like staying in home and Raju the host himself goes along with guest for beautiful sight visits. It was really a memorable stay in Tirthan view homestay.

Had a wonderful stay with my friends. Stayed for a week in 2 rooms. Raju and Kuldeep Ji were super hospitable and made our stay a delight. The location is great since it has a great view of the valley. A nearby drive and trek to Sharchi and Jamala village was our favourite. Food and drinks were good too. We had a bunch of dishes from pakodas to tawa fish. Would 100% recommend it to anyone coming to Tirthan.

Breath takingly beautiful. The food tastes awesome and feels homely. Had to travel almost to the end of Gushaini to get this place.

I had the best experience of my life during my stay in Tirthan View Homestay. The host (Raju Bhai), his brother (Kuldeep Bhai), and their entire family were so warm, generous that I did not realize even for a minute that I was almost 2000 kms away from my home. The food cooked was delicious and every day we got new variety (e.g. Parathas, egg bhurji, momos) (* Kuldeep Bhai [host's brother] personally cooks the food and he is very good at his job). I was on a workcation so I basically needed the place to have very good internet and I was surprised with the speeds that I got while working. Airtel is fantastic (almost around 30 mbps) and jio is good (around 6 mbps). Not to forget the stunning view of the snow capped himalayan range which you get from the balcony of the room as well as from the terrace of the house. So this is a paradise for people who love to work while travelling. The host and his family were also kind enough to invite me to their brothers wedding which they had hosted near the homestay so that I could get a feel of their pahadi culture which was amazing. I again thank Raju Bhai, Kuldeep Bhai and his family for hosting me and making me feel as part of their family. I look forward to visiting this place again:)

We stayed for 2 months at this property and we must say the experience was amazing! The hospitality was very good by Raju & Kuldeep bhai along with their family. The food was very homely. The view was amazing. The rooms & bathroom are so well maintained. The internet speed is very good for wfh. We had a jio modem. Will definitely visit this stay again. Highly recommended!

No questions asked one of the best places in the valley to stay with an amazing view of both tartan river and valley, right from your balcony. Easily reachable, amazing hosts with great homemade food cooked on demand by Kaku bhai everyday. As it was the harvest season I got fresh pears and apples from the farm on same property on a daily basis. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a peaceful and comfortable stay. A perfect place to work out of with Airtel cellular working throughout the valley.

For me, it's been a complete homestay experience. I visited Tirthan for a week and the stay was super homely and comfortable. This place is amazing, the views are breathtaking, the food is pure delight, just like home made with pure cow ghee and butter. We enjoyed pure cow milk twice daily. The owner Raju Bhai is such a lovely person. Highly recommended. You can stay as long as you wish.

Children are also available, we can bring our children, they will play will them.
Also they will come with us for sightseeing.
We can also work from here. Internet is good for Jio and Airtel.

We were two girls working from mountains and we had a great stay at Tirthan view homestay with Raju bhaiya, Kuldeep bhaiya and their family. They really made us feel comfortable and made us feel one of their own. Delicious food, extraordinary views from room, always smiling and helping people, beautiful and comfortable rooms with all aminities, beautiful interiors. Had a memorable experience. Dog lovers will be entertained too as they have two cute dogs too. If you want a proper homestay experience living with a himachali family with delicious food and awesome hospitality, Tirthan view is the place to be. Let the slow & natural pace of life in the mountains rejuvenate you while you enjoy the changing shade of the mountains throughout the day - right from your balcony (in fact the corridor)! From the homestay, take a short trek uphill to the apple orchard or snake your way down to the beautiful rivers. Doesn't matter who you are and from which location or what's your age you'll definitely notice the 180 degree shift in your lifestyle.

The food served is hot & yummy. Kuldeep & Vijay are wonderful chefs. Raju Bhai and family will make you fill at home - your home away from home! My kids are still missing the homestay and the basic outdoor games they use to play with Raju bhai's kids.

Ohhhh did I forget to mention the two furry K9 hosts of this homestay - Mago and Bhagmati - kids favourate) Don't forget to ask the family members about the various K9 & leopard stories of the area. We miss it! This Homestay is highly recommended.

It's an excellent homestay, if you want to experience the local himachali life then you should consider this place. The host raju bhai, his brother kaku and their families are super friendly and very hospitable. You will miss their hospitality once you leave this homestay. The views from this homestay are majestic, food is super tasty and home cooked. Will come again to this place. Tirthan view homestay is a beautiful homestay.

The host and the hospitality of the family is just amazing. It’s a home away from home. Raju bhai is an amazing host, he showed us entire valley, drove our vehicle, took us to the unexplored places where no one else will take you. I worked from this place for 15 days and experience was amazing. I would love to visit again and again.

Stayed at Tirthan View resort for a month and had a very pleasant stay. Both Raju and Kuldeep are very friendly and they make sure to make it feel like home. Internet speed in the area is also great and you can easily expect around 40 Mbps for both Jio and Airtel, so remote working is also easily possible.
