Two stars only for the good hotels they provided otherwise they never delivered the tour they promised
My personal advice is never arrange your tour to shimla kullu Manali between 15th December to 15th January because tour operators never tell you the facts that during this period of snowfall all the roads get blocked and giving this reason they won't do the promised sightseeing and rather demand more money for arranging vehicles like Gipsy or Thar which can travel in snow clad roads so if you pay you can go to solang Valley and other places otherwise stay at hotel
Coming to the point we got totally unprofessional treatment, change in itinerary, lack of providing alternative vehicles for sightseeing, third class driver who was never ready for sightseeing giving reason of snowfall.
I also contacted them by seeing the good reviews but after tour we realized that either the reviews are fake or we were unlucky

This was my very first outdoor adventure trip where we were suppose to stay in different camp sites in the remotest and most beautiful areas of Himachal. The whole camping was taken care by La Himalayas from finding out the best camping sites to setting up the camps before we arrive to the destination and serving us the best quality food everyday. Special mention to Punnet who was leading the La Himalayas team; he is such an efficient leader and organiser and takes personal care of everyone travelling with them. Not to forget he SINGS very well so next time whenever you are planning a trip to Himalyas go with La Himalayas and request Puneet to sing while enjoying the bonfire and delicious food made by their very talented chefs. Being confined to our homes due to COVID travel restrictions, expedition was the last thing on our minds! With just a days notice, I headed to take this snow expedition.
The whole expedition was very well planned and organized. Right from the check-in into various hotels to keeping us warm by providing electric blankets in the chilling -11 C. Even the youngest member, a 3 year old kid enjoyed every moment. They had thought to the minutest level.
The location we drove to were amazing. The tips shared on how best to drive thru the snow safely, were very helpful.

It’s been a month and we are still reeling in the after effects and hangover from the Spiti snow drive expedition!

We had the most remarkable trip with Puneet and his team. Not only was everything perfect, but we felt in every instance, that the team truly cared about us, both the kids and adults and did their best to make this trip memorable.

Did the snow drive expedition Jan 2021, with Team La Himalaya. A great team with loads of experience of the hills. Highly recommend if you want to do something off beat and unique. We were part of a 5 day drive, starting 28th January, 2021. It was a wonderful experience, lots of fun and family time. Puneet, Goldie and Varun, were really hosts at their best. The food was excellent and so was the drive. We were given all

Till we meet again

Myself and my wife Manjusha, have been doing road trips, for the last 15+ years. We were initially hesitant to do an organised, group road trip, on the first hand. But winters and himalayas made us take the decision of using an expert guidance. Referred by a friend, we opted to do the winter drive, with La Himalaya. What must I say? I have never seen some one manage something, in such a professional way and that too, with pure passion, rather than a business motive. The core team of Puneet, Goldie and Varun, were more like friend’s, being part of a trip, than some one, who was doing this as a business. Be it any of the 5 nights where we stayed, or any of the road side meals that we had, it was all superb. I was really astonished with the way the other members of the group, became part of this trip. All were like minded, from all age groups and simply, like, one large family. The day was well planned, with enough drive and adventure and the nights were set in cozy, party atmosphere. From snacks that were served, to packed lunches, everything was well thought of. I didn’t take my kids along, cos they had exams. It was really a big miss for them. The place was pristine and serene. The icing on the cake was the snow fall on the last day, at Narkanda. What more to say, thanks Puneet! 3 Cheers to La Himalaya! One thing I forgot to mention, no where was safety compromised, nor privacy intruded. Still, we had a super adventure!

Kudos to the team for making us feel so safe that we miss no element of fun even while we were threading slow with the snow chains on. You kept us so warm with your unmatched hospitality that we decided to call you family in just 10 days! You taught us luxury need not be compromised while seeking adventure. It was your compassionate ways that kept the whole group singing and dancing around the campfire every night like we were family.

It was a pleasure being on the Spiti expedition which started on the 25th of Feb. I have been planning to do this with a friend for the past two years and has been on my bucket list for a while now. The pandemic just showed how unpredictable life can be. My friend messaged and within 2 days we agreed to go on this trip. Flew into CHG from BLR and the adventure started. A very well-organized trip by La Himalaya and great hosts (Puneet, Shibhu, and Gaurrav). Excellent selection on places to eat, stay and DRIVE. It was an adventure of a lifetime and Kunzun La was divine. Every hotel, homestay was perfect. I would really suggest to book your trip through La Himalaya and meet like-minded people and hopefully make friend's for a lifetime. Thanks again La Himalaya for this brilliant trip.

I have been to Spiti a couple of times, but in summers. I always wanted to do Spiti in winters. Finally, in 2019, came my chance to be part of the winter Spiti expedition led by Puneet. Amazing snow drive topped with a perfect arrangement and great team - could not get any better. Attaching some photos to exhibit how it all went, so that you realize what you guys are missing.

My Gypsy broke down on the 3rd day of expedition and punnet ensured sweep vehicle stayed with me to give support. Luckily gypsy was back in game soon.
Would love to go on future expeditions with them and will fully recommend them to anyone wanting to try out any extreme expedition.

Very nice experience. We (family) had a good time with the travel for himalyas. Mr.munish diwan called us everyday twice or thrice to know if everything was all okay (good morning calls too). He also took utmost care whenever we faced any issues. The hotels were having amazing locations and awesome views from rooms. Hospitality was impressive. The car provided was good and driver had experience in driving in hills. Overall, it was so satisfying to book with travel for himalyas. It was our first complete tour with a travel agent so we were bit hesitant at first regarding their services, but with time it all felt like confidence and care of home but unlimited enjoyment.
