My wife and I planned for spiti valley circuit with traveling monk, and traveling monk simply made it a memorable trip with magical experience. The quote given by them and the services offered were worth every penny they charged. The seamless coordination by the team, the human touch and lot of passion could be seen which no one will find with any other tour planner.

All the co-founders Amit, Rajat and Paras were such good guys who at every moment tried their best to introduce us with regional culture, food and mountain stories. They became friends during the journey and i would want them as my tour planner for every Himalayan trip i do.

I will definitely recommend and introduce them to my family and friends.

We did Spiti circuit in July 2022 through Travelling Monk. Will definitely recommend them for their simple approach and patience to deliver the best and take you to places despite the odds and obstacles of the terrain and weather. Emit, Raj & Nikhilesh were very helpful and supportive and rode and drove with us throughout the circuit for a successful expedition. You can definitely opt for them to do Spiti circuit at a competitive price and being a local group, they are one of the best options to be relied on, in any adverse situation that could pop up in a difficult terrain like Spiti Valley.

Alright so I want to give a big shout out to Team Travelling Monk for organising my Spiti trip from the 1st - 10th July 2022. Amit, Raj & Nikhilesh are great guys, the best part is that they are locals. They took us around the entire Spiti valley like how a local would take you around.for examples shortcuts to avoid hours of traffic was the best part.
They are not like other professional tour organisers who are on strict schedules. Amit has a rather laid back style with no strict starting time.being a local helps as they keep travelling up and down every now and then. They have inside information about the weather, food joints & the roads.all in all we had a smooth trip.thanks to Team Travelling Monk.

Winter Spiti is heaven specially when you are travelling with local people. Travellingmonk made everyday memorable. Emit Negi is professional and always try to bring exceptional experience to our journey. With him we had a great eperience of Winter wonderland spiti and Kinnaur and took personal care. If you're looking for Spiti Valley expedition (Winter or otherwise) then look no further. Traveling Monk is one of the best in business. Starting from hotel pick-up in Chandigarh till they drop you at your hotel back in Chandigarh, everything they do is customer centric. Well maintained cars (We booked Fortuner), cozy, comfortable and luxurious homestays and friendly hosts, I must say Emit Negi, has checked all the necessary boxes need to run a successful travel company. Even the drivers are very friendly and add fun to your journey. Special cheer to our driver Raaz Negi. The organizer (Emit Negi) and his team is extremely good and know all the nooks & corners of Spiti Valley.

Booked Spiti Valley through Traveling Monk from Feb 12th to Feb 20th Batch.

We had a fantabulous vacation organised by TravellingMonk. We were 2 girls and safety was their key priority and they took care of all needs and ensured to give us the splendid experience and ambience in regards with accommodation and sightseeing etc.
Nikhilesh did an awesome job by taking us to all sightseeing locations and ensured to give us enough time to spend at the monastery and across all locations. It wasn’t like a school trip!

Let me start by taking Amit’s name. A gem of a person and extraordinary Organiser! He made sure that he delivered what was promised. Comfortable stays, excellent ride (Pajero) and fantastic PILOT (Atul). A good trip becomes great only when you have companion like Amit. I am very thankful to him and his team. An unbiased message to all those who are planning a spiti trip: A small company (Travelling Monk) will always give you the best experience. Do not fall for big names and their high prices for no extra services!

We were a group of 4 friends, joined Winter Spiti Sutra from 12-19th Feb.

We sent inquiry on 8 different groups but the response and warmth we received from Emit, convinced us to join him.

And he 100% stand by his words, as he's a local from kinnaur he knows about the surroundings really well.

Entire team of Emit is very welcoming and experienced. We felt like we were a group of friends travelling togather.

All the homestays he planned were very soothing, we had such an amazing time with locals; hearing their stories, understanding their lifestyles and challanges, having local food was 5/5 experience.

We missed our Pin Vally trip due to avalanche on mentioned day, Emit went out of the way and rescheduled the trip on the way back from Kaza so that we don't miss the spectacular view. That was such an amazing gesture.

In summary, I definitely recommend Traveling Monk for local experience & exposure, personal monitoring on the details, comfortable and peaceful drive, mesmerizing landscapes and lastly memorable trip.

White winter Spiti Sutra along with Traveling Mock, it was spectacular journey.
Enjoyed every second with them! Among all the stays, Kaza stay stood out to be the best @The Fa-ma's home. We had some hiccups in between, Emit Negi handled them all professionally. Raj Negi drove us all safely. Small con we couldn't complete all the places as per itinerary shared and 2 days stay was changed as per the travel needs. The Spiti valley in winter's is heavenly, please have it in your travel list must visit place at least once in a life time.

Got a chance to experience Himalayas.and I feel there isn't better way than traveling with these monks.they will make sure u get the rawness and the culture of himachal.they won't b organizers but they will b ur friends or u can say buddies.enjoyed roadtrip during the day and having parties at night with them is the best part.

Very professional driving skills and communication.don't fall for so called big organizations where u will get only good drone shots and showbaazi.if u really want to experience the real nature and culture connect with these guys

I had an amazing experience with travelling monk for Spiti Winter Expedition.
They provide you the best accommodations in such weather conditions that you'll love it.
Also you will get home cooked meal/breakfast.
All the days were amazingly planned by team captains so that you won't be exhausted but all the points will also be covered.

Went for Spiti motorbiking for 9 days. Emit Bhai and team (Rajat, Anshul, Hitesh and Ustadji) were very helpful and kept coordinating all crucial aspects of the trip right from start to end. Our hotels/stay were of great value given the tour price paid. Would highly recommend going with these guys. Bike rental was great.stay and food was amazing.and given the uncertain monsoon weather, the last minute in unforeseen trip changes were planned very well keeping our safety in mind. Had some great memories from this trip. Would be sure to go back again.

We, group of 9 friends went to Pin Bhaba Pass with Travelling Monk (I should specify the name - Emit Negi). We really had good time with Travelling Monk. Their services were really good and the team was very friendly.

A last minute couples trip to Spiti valley and that too a road trip. Amit curated a personalised trip for 4 of us as per our requirements and even patiently cleared all our doubts and worries as it was our first biking trip and also ensured safety of all of us as we experienced uncertain weather at few places. His team (Anshul, Rajat, Jagdish, Hitesh) were accompanying us in backup vehicle and made sure we are comfortable throughout. All of them are locals and have proper idea of the weather and road conditions and also they know less known beautiful spots throughout the spiti circuit with mesmerising views. Had lots of fun throughout the trip specially bcz Amit Rajat and Anshul. They started as our tour guides but ended the trip as out friends.
