Trek with Tek- Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP)

The Great Himalayan National park trek with Mr. Tek Singh was really amazing. It was a 4D-3N trek and we as a group of 4 reached the Rakhundi peak successfully during 1st week of this October. The weather was so good at that time and it really helped us. The trek crew took very good care of us during the entire journey and special mention to Tek singh ji who guided us throughout the 4 days and took special care making sure we reach the peak and return safely. The food was good and served on timely manners. The entire trek was awesome. Thanks to Tek singh ji and team.

Absolutely loved the services provided by Trek with Tek. Great organisation and communication. Such a great and carying attitude. During the hike the team has been treating us like royalty, such a feast of great food and always meeting all our needs and requests. Highly recommend to anyone and I believe I will be using their services again next year.

We opted for rakhundi trek post monsoon and had a wonderful time. It was a raw and unfiltered trek. Non mainstream too. Rakhundi is one of the best trails in GHNP and we witnessed it in person. They say it’s not the destination, but the journey that makes things beautiful, but I would like to say it’s the company in that journey which makes things beautiful. Tek jiii and his team made sure that we have utmost experience and convenience throughout the trip. Warm and welcoming team. Would recommend to my friends and will travel again soon.

I did the rolla trek in one day with Tek. He's a lovely man. The trail was easy. The scenery is beautiful and it's very peaceful, we didn't see many other hikers. The best thing about connecting with this company was the help I got from Eknath for example finding taxis and suggesting other things for me to do while I was in the area. His advice was invaluable

Trek with Tek is Much much much better than the other treks given by other companies. In Trek with Tek, the guides, Tek Singh and Eknath Singh are very very genuine and helpful. They take care of their guides and people who work.
Trek with Tek provide you with super quality food and tents and everything. Whereas other companies or trek organisers wont give you a quality service. I have trekked with both so i can asure you that.
Eknath will give you every detail properly in a very organised way.
They will treat you with so much warmth that you won't feel like an outsider. ️ Go for it!

Excellent experience. We were on a two-day trek and were extremely well taken care of. We were trekked the entire route at our own pace and there was always a guide or two present with us. The trek itself was very enjoyable, with beautiful sights.

Very good arrangements were made by the staff once we reached the destination, with tents being set up on time and refreshments and fresh food being made available. The people associated with Trek with Tek are very professional, cordial and helpful.

A big shout out to Eknath Singh and Tek Singh for their co-ordination and execution of this trek, which was easily the highlight of our trip.

Trekking with Tek Singh and his team from Ropa to Rola and to Chalocha and back was a great experience. Tek is an amazing trek guide. A seasoned professional with an infectious smile and energy. His arrangements were fantastic and one couldn’t have expected anything better. We have just came back after a 2 day “Trek with (‘the Modest’) Tek” Singh. First of all, due to some unprecedented event, we had to curtail our trek of 3 days to fit into 2 days, which Eknath-ji generously accommodated.
Food served in our camp was so much in quantity and variety in dishes, we were humbled to find such marvellous arrangement so wonderfully managed as if we were no strangers and there can be some professional relationship only when we were making final payments. Other times they were the best of hosts, so helpful in unmanageable circumstances during the trek, we are indeed humbled by Tek & Eknath-Ji’s hospitality.

Before we started our trek we punctured one tyre of our hired car, thanks to the senseless choice of car by our agent, Tek Singh was even helpful out of his way by putting one driver in to task to repair the tyre from Goshaini even before we reached back to the car after the trek.

Great experience with a super team. Eknath Singh ji was polite and professional throughout. Tek Singh ji was a wonderful guide, experienced and amicable. All the boys of the group - the porters, cooks etc. - were all efficient and super helpful. The food was outstanding, one of the best I've had across all treks.

Our trek dates had to be shifted at the last minute because of bad weather. Not only did the team adjust, we were also charged less because one day had to be cut short.

All in all, I'd heartily recommend this wonderful bunch at trek with tek. And would love to trek with them again.

We recently did the Chalocha Trek in Great Himalayan National Park with Trek with Tek team and really loved the whole experience. The place and trek is beautiful itself but the hospitality of Team trek with tek made our trek more memorable. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for treka in and around the Great Himalayan National Park.

This place has been in my bucketlist since long, finally this time I got to visit the nameworthy, The Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). I went for a 4-Day trek to Shilt Hut-Rakhundi Top, which I was told is at an altitude of 3,660 metres. The Trek with Tek team was amazing, Tek Singh & Eknath Singh and the entire team was really helpful throughout the trek. Tek Singh, being a local had great experience and knowledge about the place and it's flora and fauna. It was a perfect place to be in, lush green views, great bird watching, good food, good people made it an overwhelming experience for me. I will definitely visit this heavenly and offbeat place again.

I and my 3 and half year old did a Ranthar trek with Trek with Tek on May 23rd.
To say the least these guys are excellent. Their service: safety provided, tent setup, quality of food provided, consideration any special needs (like you have small child etc with yourself) ; all of it was just excellent. Total value for money.
We got good day one but next day in the morning it was rani good heavily and around noon we just had to make a decision if we are going down at all. They were so nice about it, I didn’t feel pressured that I had yo go down else I will not be taken care of. At the same time I had complete faith in their ability to make me and my 3 year old down safely.
Will definitely book with them again in my next visit.

My son and I did the Shilt Hut trek last week. The trek guides Neel and Ranjit were extremely supportive. It was interesting to learn about local culture and habits from them.
We were very well looked after at the campsite as well. The food provided was delicious.
Overall a wonderful experience.

We were a group of 8 travellers. We did 2 day trek in GHNP for 2 days to Rolls and further up. Tek Singh team took care of everything. The courteous team ensured everyone is able to complete the trek without any difficulty. The food was superb. Dinner was followed by local dance and songs.

The equipment was of best quality. We left the place with many many happy memories.

I am a 12 year old and this was my first ever trek experience. It was a wonderful experience along with Tek Singh ji. He guided us every step of the way from tindar village to shilt hut and back. He shared his knowledge about GHNP with us and also answered all our questions. The first day of the trek was quite easy and fun. It was also a bit tiring but when we reached the camp in Rohla it was worth it. The sound of the river, the views of forest were very nice. The tent we stayed in was very comfortable and the food was also very tasty and homely. We had a campfire at night and enjoyed ourselves. The next day the trek to shilt hut was a bit challenging as it was quite steep, but the views from the top were simply breathtaking. We were lucky to see goral running down the mountain slopes and lots of langoors and monkeys. The trip ended with a brisk hike back to tindar village. Thanks to Tek Singh ji and his team for all the efforts in making this, my first trek, a memory that I will cherish for my whole life. Lastly our interaction with Eknath was also very good, who guided us on all our pre trek queries. Whatever we discussed was delivered.and it was much more than what we expected. A big thumbs up to all the team members.

Mr Eknath singh and Tek Singh were a great team. Mr Eknath asked for all my preferences before hand equipment-wise (whether I need extra mat, chairs or a personal porter) and food-wise (for all 4 meals, breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner), everything was managed smoothly and perfectly. During the trek, Mr Tek was very polite and humble, he guided me well throughout the way (this being my first trek, I needed it a lot). He was also very well versed with knowledge of locally found flora and fauna which added a very nice flavor to my trek, he kept us entertained with all the stories of his past experiences and treks at GHNP. Supporting staff was very helpful and went out their way many times to take care of our requests and needs during the trek.
All in all it was great experience, GHNP in itself is breathtaking with its raw natural beauty and serenity. TrekwithTek just made this experience a lot better with their service and quality. I would definitely recommend TrekwithTek to anyone who is looking to experience GHNP in all its glory.

Tek Singh is providing employment to many local youth at the grassroot level in Tirthan Valley and these youths come from the same family who had given up all their rights for GHNP (Great Himalayan National Park) and who want to get employment through tourism.

Had a lovely experience. Loved the bamboo kit! We were accompanied by Neelchand, Tek Ji's younger brother, who was really sweet and tried his best to cater to all our needs. However, there is a scope of improvement in food options. Including locally grown/cooked food would be amazing. Additionally, it would be great if the team accompanying us had more knowledge about local food and culture, the flora and fauna found in the forest, and traditional medicine.

Eknath and Tekji did a great job trying to make the trip as comfortable as possible for us. The team went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. It was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend 'Trek with Tek ' to all those who want a raw trekking experience in the Greater Himalayan National Park.
