My 2 night stay was awesome at Himtrek mcleodganj property. From the view to food everything was great. Me and my husband had a great time staying there. Highly recommended!

We recently enjoyed a remarkable stay at Himtrak Hotel in October 2023, and I couldn't have shared the extraordinary experience. The hotel service was truly outstanding, with warm and professional staff ensuring the check-in process. For adventure enthusiasts like me, Himtrak Hotel has proved to be a haven, offering easy access to a variety of exciting activities. The accommodations were not only aesthetically pleasing and also incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The culinary experience was a pleasant surprise, with the in-house restaurant serving a varied menu of delicious dishes. The staff's friendliness and local knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay, making us feel well taken care of. The tranquil atmosphere of the hotel, along with thoughtful amenities and well-maintained facilities, creates an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. In summary, Himtrak Hotel exceeded my expectations, offering the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. I highly recommend it for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Awesome place to stay. If you are coming to mcloedganj your one and only stay is Himtrek. Very safe, Friendly staff, amazing view.

Vishal and the crew were very helpful during our 2-week stay.
The low price in relation to services was very fair, and allowed us to stay a lot longer. The location close to the Tushita Buddhist centre allowed us daily meditation practice there. I recommend it!

The rooms were nice, we stayed in dormitory room it was clean and the location is great. Right between the nature.
The service was really great the manager was not there because he was out of town but still the staff was really well behaved and polite. The food and there cafe sitting area was the cherry on cake.

Really recommend to check this stay if you are planning to go to Dharamshala or Dharamkot or Mcleodganj.

And they have budget and premium both options for staying.

I have a wonderful experience. I enjoyed a lot. The hotel team has always been friendly and helpful. Location was too good. We played many games, and also enjoyed the bonfire and the food is too good.

It was an amazing experience being there with the facilities and the environment. The service was excellent along with the delicious food. Must visit there to experience the beauty of the nature and the mesmerising natural scenarios️️

Raman bhardwaj bhaiya is a great guide to have in a camping site and he is a very nice person calm nature funny and enjoyable man. Me and my friends really had a great time over here️️

Rooms could have been better. The best part was trekking. It was tidious but worth it. They take you to real top of mountain.

I stayed with my friends in the dorm room here. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a balcony. The location is peaceful and full of greenary. They set up bonfire and music everynight. I stayed there for two days and mostly ordered local cuisines which again I enjoyed a lot. I would give maximum marks to the staff and there services. A must place to visit.

Raman bhardwaj was very friendly. Service was good and i really enjoyed a lot and felt comfy with the environment and especially raman bhardwaj.

The host of this property is Mawale. He is very helpful. He helped us in planning the further trip as well. The lazy monk cafe vibe is amazing in the night. The place has everything that you are looking for. Dharmkot and Macleodganj is very nearby.

Beautiful vibes affordable price staff here is excellent and humble best place to stay in McLeodganj ️must visit mr.mawla here is a very humble person loved the experience.

Honestly, if I could give 10 stars I would.
These guys are absolute GEMS.
Both Mawla and Rohit took the best care of us. Made our stay there so, so brilliant. So much so that we've already come back twice and we kept extending our stay further and further. (and it's for sure the only place we're going to stay in Mcleod in the future).
The private rooms are big and beautiful, the beds are super comfy, the showers are hot and the balconies provide a wicked view of the stunning campus.
Not to mention the vibes! Bonfires at night and music to match, need I say any more.
The Lazy Monk cafe also does AMAZING food and the milky coffees in the morning are some of the best I've had. Not being biased, just an honest review of my favourite place I've stayed at in the whole of India. And definitely the most hospitable and homely place we've stayed at in Mcleod.
Brilliant location - not too far from central Mcleod - only a 5-10 min walk, but far enough for it to be away from the business and loudness of it.
They even organise day treks (and overnight camping treks) and will take care of it all for you.
Beautiful people, beautiful place, and beautiful vibes. Can not go wrong with staying here. Highly, highly recommend this place. 5 stars all around.

It was great overall. However, the blankets should be more warmer one thin blanket is not enough for 1 deg temp.

This place was beautiful! The food was nice too. The vibes are great! The property is well maintained and beautiful too. Th only think I didn't like was people there. Not a very decent crowd. Except one of my neighbor's in the hotel and the care taker, people weren't decent.

Experience was not good.no one cares about the guests. When we just enter in the camp there was a lady who was complaining and fighting with the host for her family inconvenience. Location was good but maybe this is only for boys and girls. You can have drink dance and smoke. But I should suggest this place is not for gentleman.

In one word, Triund view homestay is just homely. It is truly a home away from home, and this is all possible due to the amazing staff on the premises, Sagar and Akash will take really good care of you and ensure you never skip a meal. Oh, and speaking about the food, it is so delicious and rightly priced. You will definitely not miss home food, I know I didn't.
Apart from that, the rooms are just cozy and almost every room has a balcony. Plus you can hop over to The Lazy Monk cafe which is just besides the property.
I haven't even begun about the view! What a brilliant view, so relaxing and peaceful.
Oh yes, and there is ample parking space.
Do not miss this gem of a place.

Awesome view point. Location is close to Triund Trek begining point. If you are in Dharamshala for a trek to Triund it's the best location to stay put. Service and cleanliness is good. Host Sandeep is friendly and hospitable. Ask him for any recommendations for activites/services/commute. We didn't try much food as we were out on the trek, only the breakfast. It was simple and tasty.

This place has everything that will make one's stay memorable. Perfect view, peacefull surrounding, closeness to nature, friendly and welcoming staff who are ready to assist even at odd hours if required.

The place is nice but it is highly recommended to go the extra mile and trek till the snowline cafe, the views there are worth the extra effort.

The place was excellent, worth the heavy trek. The guide was really helpful. The stay was well settled, it's really cold there, carry all your warmers up there. They would arrange everything for you, you'll get blankets under the tent. You'll find a lot of people there with you, just don't give up. All the best:)

We booked the room but at the time of visited we found that site is not at all for staying with friends, forget about family. Its all aloof in the mid of forest. Also, the site was on construction which they didnt tell us at the time of booking which we booked just 2 days before. However, we get the refund.

While on triund trek we booked this place last minute. The person was well accommodating as we had one extra guest. The entire staff was very hospitable. The food was good. Tents were clean. The bonfire part was fun. 100% recommended. Light on pocket too.

I visited this property with family. There was great rush as few college students suddenly visited that place also on the same day. The sharing washroom was stinking badly. However Mr. Arun, the owner of property, is very good and accommodating guy. He arranged another hotel for us and refund the advance payment and apologies also.

A sweet place to stay, very comfortable and a nice place to meet other travellers and exchange stories.
