There are multiple temples within the temple complex where one can pray, meditate or just observe. The temples shine through their simplicity. Next to the temple rooms it is a place to visit for people interested in stunning views!
On our second visit to Dharamshala, top priority was to re visit this place iin MacLeod gunj. Coincidentally it turned out to be the Tibetan new year Losar. With special offering to the deity and festivities around. The majestic statue of Buddha is magnificent. Also a very quiet and serene place. Very systematic, clean area with helpful and polite staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Love this place in dharamshala mcleodganj. It's very peaceful temple with lot of positive vibes. One can visit it any day of the week. We can find monks doing meditation here and make sure not to disturb them. It has one Tibetan museum as well which is located just after entry into main gate.
It's near the Macleodganj market. It remains pretty crowded in the evening and day. It felt more symbolic and does not have the beauty and tranquility Buddhist monasteries normally have. The museum near by is worth a visit. The main temple complex is mundane.
The place is full of divine energy when you enter this place you feel you are not in some familiar or ordinary place rather it seems this place is outworldly. When hundreds of monks sit together to chant and meditate then the aura is full lof divinely charged vibrations. The basic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" Vibrates in the air.
The place of His Holiness. As spiritual and peaceful, this place is an energy in itself. From the Buddhist traditions to the Indian traditions, this place holds a place. Certainly a must watch if you are in Himalayas.
Very good holy place to visit for the people even who don't want to travel like these places as this place is surrounded with natural beauty and foreigners.
Lot of renovation is going on. So it is not that great as compared to last we visited Hope it would be much better once it is done. Overall this place is good with lots of positive energy.
This is the place where the great Dalai lama lives. This place is located in mcleodganj and is easily accessible with parking. Peaceful place with very good view. If you are lucky then you might see dalai lama in person here.
The decoration of tsuklakhang is very nice it is located next to dalai lamas residence if you are lucky then you can join there prayers and dalai lamas speechs too
Nice views from top. But there are much nicer looking temples than this. This is just from a tourist's point of view and not from a religious person's view.
This is an excellent place to visit if you are near to dharamshala. It is a very ️ peaceful place and the art gallery is amazing. But it's restaurant price a lot. The garden is also beautiful.
Very attractive place! Rooftop of this place, makes it attractive as this is made up with Japanese technique & design. This place is equipped with chairs & it is very pleasant. There is 2-3 temple in this place & its veey old & main attraction of this place. Atmosphere is very cool, as breeze blown here & place is very neat & clean.
Beautiful complex, situated in market place on one hand but as soon as you enter you see greenery, mountains and feel close to nature. Best thing is it's so well covered as there was heavy rain when we reached there we were well protected and the place didn't get crowded as well
The town of Dharamsala is best known internationally as the home of the Dalai Lama of Tibet. His main temple at Tsuglagkhang Complex is a soulful temple of peace and tranquillity which is visited by not only locals but also tourists from all over the globe looking for inner peace. The surrounding atmosphere is blessed with sublime Himalayas. Monks can be observed praying and devoting their meditating hours in the service of God and inner peace. You can also purchase books and ritual items from the shops inside the complex. Also there is a small clinic inside the premise. This temple is the frequent preaching spot of Dalai Lama, even his residence is just opposite to the temple complex. People of all religion and creed can visit this temple. A must go to tourist spot if you're a person who likes to explore different cultures or if you're looking for inner peace.
