Tungeshvalley homestay

Its a beautiful place with very warm people at your service. You would be away from the hustle of main Shimla city.

Visited in Sept, 2021. Property wasn't cleaned up properly after guests (before us) left.

Being open property, rainy insects can be an issue. Attic's glass was a bit dirty so it was hard to see through it at starry sky.

Wood smell could be a discomfort for allergic person

Yeah, owners (Kalyan ji & his son Ankit) were very helpful & they also own Apple orchard at around 3kms (drivable or can do trek)

View was great so do interiors & lighting at property

The property was exactly how it was expected to be. Attic was the place we found us most of the time in. Staff was really polite. Food quality and taste was good. We went to their apple farm and also trekked around there which was a treat.

One of the best home stay I have ever stayed. Warm hospitality, super tasty food and most scenic view. The room has view of snow cladded mountains and apple orchids. In the night you will feel like sleeping under the sky with thousands of star and in the morning you will find yourself surrounded by hundreds of birds.
Do ensure to have your each meal with them in case if u get the chance to stay with them. Their food is pure and super super tasty. X factor is their love and warmth

Great place to spend a few days. We had planned for a few days off the grid and were delighted by the warmth of the hosts. It's also very well placed for visits to Kufri, Shimla or Narkand. I would prefer staying here for the whole trip next time round, rather than battling the crowded lanes in Shimla.

Nice homestay with homely food. Food is bit much expensive. Don't stay in summer time unless it's snowfall. Little far from town

A perfect get away destination easily accessible by a motorable road. Situated amidst the dense forest range of village "Cheog", it's nothing less than a treat. The personal affection rendered by Mr Kalyan Jagta was simply an icing on cake. In a nutshell, it's a must visit.
