A very silent place with a beautiful nature and boating there you can click pictures there, it's opposite of the mall road u can relax yourself there.

Peaceful. Do the circuit trek which is for 2 Km within the park. The entire trek is quite peaceful and makes one close to the nature. You cans spend an hour here ad feel close to the nature

Awesome place to enjoy with your family and also you can spend time with your partner it's a very beautiful place.

This park is not maintained. They charge ₹50 per head. It's not even peaceful inside, these hawkers selling their Kesar everywhere. Just gets annoying at times. This place can definitely improve and maintain hygienic restrooms.

Excellent walking train which can keep you occupied for a couple of hours. Very beautiful views of both the Beas river and the Manali mountains from here.
There is also a pedal-boating lake which is also an attraction. You can spend a nice casual after lunch walk here and build an appetite for evening snacks back at the Manali market which is right adjacent. They also let you hold the furry rabbits at certain points.
Multiple public restrooms available. Average hygiene.
Pet dog friendly hikes. Please clean after your pets.

Timings: 8 am - 7 pm in summer and 8 am - 5 pm in winter.

The main attraction of the park is the beautiful man-made lake situated in the middle of the woods. Tourists can enjoy boating in the lake.

It's a good place to spend time with family and children. It's like a children's park with long and beautiful pine trees. You can also do boating in the small pond here.

There are many things inside van vihar like you can click photos wearing Himachali dress, holding rabbit, holding big snake. A peaceful place to visit and click photos.

It is a city park with big trees and a pool.it has music system installed in the park. It is not a national park.

Van Vihar is a go to go place for tree lovers. The calmness and peaceful you will feel there cannot be described in words.

This place is located near Mall road. You can visit this place for evening walk or morning walk.

Beautiful conserved place to enjoy your walk. One can go there with family and kids as there are swings for the kids. You can see the deodhar trees here. Neat and hygienic place to visit. Provision of washrooms is also there. Entry fees is INR 50 for adults and 20 for kids below 8 years. Fresh air and good for your health to take a walk here

As i booked in package and pls dont visit this place. Totally waste of time and money. Nothing in this place to see only big bamboos and kids playing items. Its good to click pics but how much u will click. So pls dnt visit this place if visit also soend only 30 min max and plan for other places like manikaran and all

Spread over an area of just 31.80 square kilometres, the sanctuary, nevertheless, has everything that you would expect from a typical shelter. It is home to all kinds of species of flora and fauna: rare, endangered as well as common; such as the Himalayan Black Bear, Kashmir flying Squirrel, Himalayan Palm Civet, Himalayan Yellow-throated Marten, Barking Deer, Flying Fox, etc.

What the Manali Wildlife Sanctuary provides in addition to the usual biological diversity and adventure sports is its breathtaking scenic beauty. Please don't waste time while you are making a trip to Manali. This place just big beutiful trees and small man made lake for boating.

I didn't visit from inside yet, but one of couple has visited before a week from inside too and their pics are Really good. I would like to visit from inside so I shall definitely visit after two weeks. Thanks

If you love nature and don't want to spend on taxies or time yet be in the lap of nature Van vihar is the place for you.

Manali is an ideal honeymoon destination. Surrounded by snow covered peaks round the year, it offers a scenic view. River Beas that flows through Manali adds to the beauty.

Rohtang pass/Rohtang and Solang Valley are worth going. These places have good adventure sports like skiing, rafting, paragliding, snow scooters etc.

The best way to reach Manali is by taking a flight to Kullu. Alternatively, overnight Volvo busses from Delhi are a good option too. I would not suggest a car journey from Delhi as it takes around 14+ hours, though this can be split into two by halting for a day at Shimla or Chandigarh or Parwanoo.

A word of caution: The adventure sports may not be 100% safe and it is better to keep personal safety in mind. Also, all services like adventure sports, cabs etc are offered at a very highly inflated rate and can be bargained heavily.

Quite good but there is nothing to see if you want to see sceneries then you can see in hidimba then why you waste you 50rs per head there is nothing that's why you are wasting your money it is a general park

This park is an absolute bliss and it has tall tress, which is very good for photoshoots. They also have a boating area which is very small. The cafeteria inside this park is small and it provides some decent snacks. The entry ticket is Rs. 100, it also has children park. Again keep in mind that it doesn't have any monument or sculptures to look at, it's just a park

Van vihar is just like a children park, we can go inside for photoshoot purpose or if have kids. Otherwise not so interesting

The place is awesome. Situated in outskirts of manali. Surrounded by hills. The services are good too. Only problem is the cook, he charges way too much for making the food and the taste is also just average. If the charges of the cook can be reduced and taste can be improved, it's the best place to stay!

Not worth to go, u won't see anything, instead of this u can have a trek to chalaal and have brownie and also can score. It's a 30 minute trek walk from this place.

Van Vihar National Park located near Mall Road Manali Park is very beautiful and amazing views nature. Best location for photography and spending your time with friends.

Amazing place. Raw nature at its best in the mighty Himalayas. The beauty is breathtaking and atmosphere is clean and rejuvenating. The place requires more attention and maintenance.

At a distance of 750 m from Manali Bus Stand, The Van Vihar is a municipal garden situated in front of the Tibetan market on the Mall Road, Manali.

Really van vihar is best place for time spend with nature. Here we can come with our family, friend, lover etc. Here is the best place to spend time with someone special. Really I love this.

Good place to visit in manali. A small park situated in the city of manali. Artificial animals placed inside the park for kids. For kids purpose

Beautiful calm place to for a very long time. People come here to enjoy a calm exoerience. Tha place is very vast and can easily find a place where we cam sit comfortably with our families. The place is in mall road itself and has entry fees. Parking is available near and just opposite but is very limited. Has a small coffer shop where we cam get snacks and coffees inside.

Real beauty cannot be seen during snow time. I am glad that I visited off season and saw such a beautiful and magnificent land scape.

Right next to Hadimba temple. Clean park, just to roam around and chill out. Kids can enjoy exploring. Cafe in the park is very very bad, nothing tastes good.

Horrible maintenance. Donno who's great idea was it to play 80' bollywood music throughout the main park area. You are better off talking a stroll through the Nehru park.

So close to hadimba devi temple. Felt so peaceful in here. Also, some scenes of ye jawani hai deewani were shot here. One can recreate them.

Park me ghumne ke charge RS. 30/- per person aisa bhi khi hota h. Normal jangal h aise jungal her jagah h Himachal me. Bekar ki chijo k pese le rhe h.

The hidden trail is good if you are looking for photos or if you wish to sit alone with the trees. You can have great spicy Maggi at the food point. There is a ₹10 entry fee and the area closes in the evening around 6.30

Very wonderful place for enjoying with family and friends at this place, specially the beas river along with the van vihar. Facility inside the van vihar was quiet good and cleanliness was at the peak in the place. A very nice place and you can spend your whole day at this place because of the nature beauty there.

Nature lover? Then this place one of the finest for you. This National park in Manali, Himachal Pradesh is lovely on its serene surroundings and you can just relax and walk through the woods enjoying lush green nature. There are well laid paths to go inside and when want to rest there are benches available to sit. Tall Deodar trees greet you on your visit and you can spot animals like deer too. There is a pond in which you can go for a boat ride. People come on picnic and enjoy. The famous Hidimba temple is also part of this Van Vihar.
