Just stayed for 1 night as there was no room available in the booked No Society Homestay which is just below it, We were so touched by the owner/workers that everyday morning we used to climb up to enjoy the tea and view up there! Getting Hot water in winter is the only problem there neither everything else is so beautiful. Thanks for the beautiful memories!

The rooms are pretty nice. The view is serene and most importantly the hospitality of the host is more than 5 star. This is one of the best homestays i have been to in terms of hospitality. The owner and his family is super super nice. A must recommendation for everyone planning to stay at Jibhi.

I came to shoja for a very peaceful and wholesome trip and I got exactly that at Venky's Place cafe And Homestay. The cutest, most homely place. From the decor, to the cutlery, to the food, to the people everything felt like it was made and curated specifically for me to feel comfortable. The person who runs the place, Gaurav is also super super cozy and sweet, along with great conversations I got great back massages from him that straight up sent me to sleep. After a day of trekking and exploring, their Hot chocolate is to die for, specially the sea salt or the walnut one. They are also very helpful, providing you with various numbers of cab drivers and updated bus timings. I also was amazed with their mad Depostar skills, I’m definitely taking lessons the next time I come. See you again Venky's Place, I shall be finding my home away from home here again.

Recently I went on a girls trip to Jibhi with my two bestfriends and we decided to stay at Venky's Place. It was the best decision we took, I had my best experience atVenky's Place. Host Gaurav and venkii bhai both are humble and amazing human.  They made us feel safe and there for help. This property has awesome views of mountains on one side and feels like home away from home. Everyone there is so kind. The food was good and if anyone is a coffee lover like me, then you should try their coffee, it was the best. At night they all come together and entertained us with the jamming session. It was icing on the cake. Rooms are cozy and the place has its himachali vibe and authenticity. If you are going to Jibhi, I would recommend staying there.

I wrote you a postcard on my first day here. On my last day (for now) just three days later, I regretted not waiting to write it better, because I had so much more to cherish with each game of Yanif, each walk under the stars and each cosy hug because you know how to offer love to strangers and friends alike.

Gaurav started his career helping people with their sight as a doctor. What I love most about venky's place is that he continued to pursue the very same dream when he built this gorgeous home- expressing how he views himself, others and the world, and helping other people see this too.

I visited this place with my best friend- who needed to feel seen, encouraged, cared for and loved. She also needed a fresh perspective to things she couldn't control or influence, and Venky's Place helped me get her back to feeling okay and empowered. This is a place which opens your eyes to views that blow your mind everyday, where you feel dwarfed by the mountains, the trees, the clouds and the stars. Venky's is a slow morning where you bask in the sun, an evening that creeps up on you because you're not ready for time to pass you by, and a night so quiet and introspective that you can't help but be your most authentic self. The delicious homemade style menu is pyaar, the insane amount of support a guest receives even before you earn that love is exceptional, and I cannot thank you enough Gaurav, for building a home for yourself in the hills that takes in strays of all kinds and improves their sight.

This trip will stay close to my heart, because most of all, it was some wonderfully generous people allowing me and all of my being into their lives even if it meant having less space and privacy, answering a lot of questions, making space for my rambling rants, laughing at my really bad jokes and opening up to me about things personal and important to them, allowing me to see and appreciate them.

Gaurav, you gave me my biggest smiles at venky's because I haven't met a more gracious host. Naman, my loudest laugh, the most beautiful shared silence and conversations I can't and won't ever forget. Gaurav, being around you is always calming- you ground those around you, but go on to inspire them and surprise them. You are also my favourite storyteller and protagonist- venky's place is a living embodiment of a story that called out to me. I'm humbled to be the tiniest fragment of this story, and would love to help you continue to shape this. Thank you, for how you go above and beyond expectations for people to feel good while they take pause from their everyday lives.

I'll be back home again as soon as I can, and my heart lies with all of you- the hosts, the guests, the dogs and the mountains, until next time. ️

I had the BEST experience at Venky's place and Homestay during my recent trip to Shangarh. The place has the perfect location with panoramic views of the mountains, and the staff made us feel at home 24/7. The best experience I've had so far. Absolutely loved it. The management makes sure to make you feel home. The food is delicious and comfy rooms. Best part was the common room where we can meet & greet with others and enjoy good conversations, games, music and loads of things. Also, it's location is very convenient, you can visit Jibhi as well as Jalori and return back within a day

This was my first visit to Jibhi and I am really impressed with the location and hospitality this place offers.
The staff is so polite and helpful, and treats you like family.
The food is pretty decent.
Above all you are in the middle of the mountains waking up to a view of the foothills of the Himalayas just outside your window.
