Vrinda's Mud House

It's a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. As well as Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner (Bhaiya) and Staffs were extremely friendly. Moreover, Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience.
I would highly recommend this place (Vrinda's Mud House) and I would definitely want to come back to this place again? ️

This rustic property is located at an elevation and involves a climb from the Panchpula falls, so make sure you're travelling light. However, once you reach the property, the climb feels worth it as the views are stunning! We were treated to a gorgeous sunset, dinner and bonfire under the starlit sky.

Its a mud house with rooms having 4 bed dorms and a cafe beside. It takes 20 to 30min to hike upto this point from panchpulla waterfall. It is midway in the Ganji pahar trail.

The host and staff will give you best stay ever with breathtaking view and the offbeat location of the property makes it a must visit.

Rahul bhai is awesome person.if you are in Dalhousie and coming for trekk.you have to go for this mud house.staff, view, stay everything is awesome?

It was awesum experience, the host of mud house is Rahul he is such a amazing guy.he is very friendly guy.we had a trek to ganji pahari only because of rahul.he is always ready to help u at any time moreover no words for location it's middle of the mountains with eye-catching view.

We have stayed here for two days. Truly excellent and worth staying in mud house. If you stay here, you don’t need to go anywhere! We enjoyed every moment of our stay peacefully. It feels like home. Will be visiting here again for sure!

The ambience was great, it was a completely different experience from what we had earlier loved the place. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was completely amazing. And the best part was the trek we felt really secure and were guided perfectly by them. Its a must visit.

Everything was great at Vrinda's Mud House. Perfect vibe, mind-blowing view, crazy location, & amazing food. The trek was really amazing and view from the top of Ganji Pahari is out of the world. I have no words to describe that view.

The ONLY place in Dalhousie everyone should book. We miss our stay there dearly. Travelled with our 3 indie dogs. The BEST pet-friendly experience for me so far.

The genuine care and warmth of the host, Rakshit was incredible and is the USP of this venture. It was a memorable experience for my teen aged sons and elderly parents alike. The mountains and the mist are breathtaking from the top which make the one km trip up till Mud House totally worth it. The simple food and bonfire were icing on the cake. Rakshit and his motivated team are a true example of sustainable tourism. It was a once in a lifetime trip. Highly recommended for all ages … and for people looking for a break from the hectic city lifestyle. Even a day is enough to rejuvenate you!

The Ultimate location
When I was reaching to this destination it was about to dusk, after trekking we reached to the location and when I saw, it was creating art of nature spread around and with hospitality of staff it made our journey amazing, so nice to all of them, they work like a team, they became my friend, I felt I m at home.

Beautiful mud house surrounded by nature. Food is very good (Organic).
You can go for trek to Ganji Pahadi from this place. Perfect place for sun rise.

Next day I booked cab for Saach Pass from the same place and Aakash who is also owner of this place picked me in his swift dezire and trust me he is perfect driver for hilly areas, really impressed with his driving skills.

We didn’t stay at Vrinda’s Mud House however during our Ganji Pahari trek we stopped by for lunch. They cooked us fresh local vegetable called karsod. It was heavenly with the garam rotis. Also the people who run the place seem to be really passionate about responsible tourism

I visited this place with my wifey and the experience was way beyond my expectations. Initially we had to trek around 1.5 km up the mountain to reach the mud house. As beginner it was quite a painful thing for us but when we finally reached the mud house, we forgot all our pains. Describing the beauty of the nature there is beyond my abilities. All I can say, it was a WOW! Moment for us. Initially we planned to stay only for two days there but after experiencing the purity of nature along with a warm welcome by the Hosts, we extended our stay there to four days which was worth doing. Keeping in view the difficult conditions of mountains, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was hygienic and tasty, the hosts including all the staffs were not only polite and modest but also were very entertaining and fun. On our special request they also took us along to the jungles to collect woods for the bonfire which was in itself a great experience. Our cook on way grabbed some fresh mountain veggies called Kasroth. He cooked it into a delicious finger licking dish which he served us during dinner with bonfire. They also escorted us to the top of the mountain called Ganji-Pahadi trek where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view. And if you are as lucky as we were then you might spot a giant but very cute Bear walking in the woods minding his own business. Last but not the least, we also were lucky to attend a mountain wedding there on our last day of stay. Not just the wedding family but even other residents of the mountain invited us to attend the wedding which was a strange but a beautiful thing to see. Overall I can say that if you want a break from maddening life of cities and explore the nature in its true virginity then this is the place. Good luck!

Around 40 minutes of trek and o Vrinda’s Mud House. Such a great experience. Top view is so great. Naturally made MUD HOUSE has great coordinators. Great food with Bon fire too. Must try for new experiences.

A totally different experience. Peaceful Mud houses amidst beautiful hills. 1.5km of beginners trek to the houses. Bonfire and fun activities in the evening. Amazing hospitality by Rakshit and team. Highly recommend if you don't want to stay in a crowded commercialized hotel.

Below are experiences which touched my heart and made my holiday unforgettable:
1. We need to trek for 1.5 km from the parking. As it was our first trek experiences, it was difficult to us but they helped us a lot through out the trek. They guided us how to climb and provided every possible support.
2. We forget to take ours jackets so they provided their own jackets to make us comfortable.
3. We went one day before full moon night. The sceneric view from mud house of watching moon is incredible.

In short, We loved this place so much that we extended our stay one day (earlier it was 2D/1N plan)

The best place to stay in Dalhousie. Vaibhav and Rakshit, you guys are doing a great job. Excellent service and the perfect sunset point. Everything was super amazing. Highly recommend to visit once at least

A hidden treasure, remote location and surrounded by the lush green dark forest and after trekking 2 km through this adventurous voyage we reached to a place where tranquility and solitude embrace you and the breeze coming from rock climbing Christmas trees is ready to enlighten you. Wonderful location, wonderful people. Very delicious food and great memories. If you love adventure, you must visit.

This place is near the top of Ganji pahadi. It's a mudhouse and rooms are purposefully basic. However, considering its location, it's still impressive they have western toilets and good beds.

But what's really amazing is service of the hosts. They are warm, friendly, and absolutely committed to providing best service possible. If you're staying for a few days, they will make sure to involve you in activities. The food was AMAZING. Simple food made really well.

The place is located just below Airtel Tower so Internet isn't a problem at all.

I would definitely visit again and recommend the place to others.

Our journey to mud house and stay was blissful and glorious. My 69 yr old mum completed the steep track. Awaited up were our young warm hearted hosts. Hosting was superb and the place sublime. It was a very special journey and stay.

Hospitality was amazing the staff members Rahul & Ankush took good care of us they even carried my eight year son on thier back while trekking. You can enjoy the scenic beauty from here.

We had a nice 3D/2N holiday at Vrinda’s. This mud house is amidst nature, a good hike from the place where you can take your car. On a clear sky you can star gaze at night. Absolute peace, food was served by the host and was better than average. We also trekked to Ganji pahari top which was a 3 hours uphill hike.
The host - these guys are very friendly, passionate about their work. Service was great, they arranged bonfire everyday and we had some great moments.

I would recommend every backpacker to go visit this place, an paradise in lower Himachal

Amazing place to stay with amazing views. Most importantly the service here very good which was not actually expected as the location is at high altitude and taking Food here is difficult. Ankush, who manages all the stuff is very kind hearted and good at his work. Would recommend everyone!

If you want to wake up to a beautiful scenic view Mud house is the place to be in. The hosts Rakshit and Vaibhav have been really helpful throughout the stay, it almost felt like we had two additions to our group of 6. They organised bon fire for us in the night and trek to ganji pahado. Overall we had a great chill time with the best hosts.
