Waffles were really good! And the service was quite nice too! The staff was very friendly especially the girl who assisted us! She was so kind and helpful

We had the apple cinnamon waffles, the vegetarian wrap, and chai. The waitress was lovely, the music perfectly calm and we worked there for a long while using the free Wi-Fi. Just what I was looking for. The menu had changed a bit, see the new uploads I made. Wait for the food was 20 min because in the morning they usually only do the breakfast menu but were happy to do the other things for a little wait. Great view on the town hall as well.

This is the new best place in the town amidst all the old favorites. Refreshing menu at best prices, this place has a lot to offer.
We ordered their white sauce pasta, it was sumptuous with the best quality taste.

Amazing food with a very nice view. They serve with great hospitality and I must mention their portion size is very good. Worth the money and a must visit if you are at Mall Road. Chef Naresh and host Akshay Dutt are pretty good.

Perfect location and you can enjoy nice view from window while having your meal. Food served was very tasty and quantity was quite good. Staff was very friendly and service was good.

During my visit to Shimla, I tried a bunch of cafes but not even a single one was satisfactory other than this one. This cafe is in Middle bazar Mall road, just opposite to Police station with a good view outside the window.
I tried Mediterranean platter, English Breakfast, ginger lemon tea, toasties, aglio olio and none of them disappointed.
Everything was freshly made including Pita bread and service was good as well.
If you are in Shimla, then this cafe is a must visit for breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Must try: Pita Hummus and ginger lemon honey tea

Amazing food with calm and lovely hospitality, the staff is really good handles the customers great. The view of gaiety theatre and mall road is splendid from the window seat, comfy sitting and beautifully designed cafe which serves tasty food.

If you are in Shimla, they are a must visit place, keep it up wake and bake Shimla.

Amazing and cozy place. Food is very good but a little costly. Staff is really good especially ANISHA, she is very nice and kind. Overall experience was really good.

This is a must visit if you are in mall road, it's just in middle of the Mall road and in front of the most beautiful building at the road.

If you are lucky enough, like I was (see pictures) you will get a beautiful view from window.

It is a bit over priced that any of the cafes around but if you want to spend some time with good food and great view of mall road, this is your place to be.

Food was bad, bland and greasy. As simple as cold coffee tasted worst. High priced and had to wait too long for the order to come in. Only high point was the view from the cafe. Washroom was clean.

Had a beautiful experience at the cafe and enjoyed some yummy toasties and kathi rolls! ️️

This gem of a place is located in the middle bazaar of shimla mall road.

It's a small and cozy place to chill, hangout with friends or some great "me time".

The place clearly makes it to the best hangout place for the localites & the tourists as well.
The food definitely speaks what brings the footfalls again and again.

The staff is very courteous & the view from the cafe is mesmerizing.

1. Pizza - 5/5
I ordered for a chicken and mushroom pizza. It was sooo cheesy, had the right proportions of herbs, veggies and sauces. Each bite was loaded with melting cheese and burst of flavours. Very Unlikely, it tasted scrumptious even after getting cold.

2. Zucchini, jalepeno toasties - 5/5
Another fully loaded cheesy treat with the sour kick of jalapenos and perfectly crispy toasties.

3. Mocha - 5/5
A cup of great hot coffee with a pleasing view & great place to hangout, what else can one ask for on a chilly evening in shimla.

This place is truly a treat to your senses and worth every penny.

Great small cozy place, there is an outdoor seating but mostly filled with people smoking also the place is quite small, the food the quite good, worth a visit when in shimla

An air-conditioned space would be nice. We went in June, and was sweating like hell. Otherwise the view of the Mall road iland the food is fantastic.

Visited yesterday, place is overpriced, food quality was not upto mark as a good restaurant promise, staff have no training how to talk with costumers.
Will never visit here. Big thank you for giving pathetic experience.

If I had to rate food I'll give 4/5 but the overall experience and ambience of place is worth 6/5. It's balcony view gives you one of finest dining experience in Shimla mall road.

One of the most popular cafes in Shimla town. You can catch youngsters of the town always hanging out here and having a quick bite.
The food here is above average but all and all you won't regret spending some time here.

Heard so much about it but was very disappointed. The simplest of all things cold coffee and we ordered for a apple cinnamon tea, so bad. The only thing worth were the French Fries.

My friend recommend this place so we went there. It was a little crowdy even at 1 pm. Food was good but we have to wait for about 45 minutes for the order to get served.

Nice place with good window view. Staff is nice too. Decent place to enjoy self time here. Food and coffee is great too. But like they say good things come at a price, it's a bit expensive place but coffee is a must try, Nice preparation.

Very nice place, good vibes, good coffee, good Pizza. I absolutely loved it and we came basically everyday while we were in Shimla.

The place was crammed which ruins the overall ambience and experience. If you manage to get a window seat you might have a shot at having a decent experience. We ordered a chicken pepper chilli rosemary and customized pizza, garlic bread, mexican chicken platter and white sauce pasta and ice tea. The price of the food was extremely high given the average quality.

Small and quaint place with some amazing food. We had the Israel breakfast, omelets, crepes and cold coffee. Almost everything was amazing. The hummus with fresh pita was the best, I highly recommend this place and you must list it as a mist visit.

I am a.coffee lover actually so I go cafe and restaurants for good coffee so today I drink latte coffee in wake nd bake but not that good I expected better but it's OK may be next time

This cafe is located in the peak location of Shimla, in center of the mall road. One of the best cafe in Shimla with great ambiance and food. The staff is so friendly. They have 3 floor sitting area whereas the top floor is the open balcony where you can take a view of Shimla and the valley. English breakfast and creps are recommended to have.

Excellent service by Ricky, delicious food and shakes. The portion size are big, Strawberry shake, hummus pita, pizza and red sauce pasta are must try.

Located in Middle Bazaar of the Mall Road. Had English breakfast 2. Scrambled eggs, toast and hummus were good. Salad was refreshing. Cold coffee and Whipped Mocha were also upto the mark. A must try restuarant when u visit Shimla. The view from the first and second floor were exceptional.

Place is very conjusted. Looking at the locality (great work to have got that much)

-Menu is really good for such a place.

-Food can be a little less salty and a little less sweet to keep with continental standards.

- I dont recall the manager of that place (if he is). PURELY THINKS HE OWNS THE PLACE. He could be a curse for the growth.

Damn, I wouldn't recommend this place, can cope up with the food for once, but that behaviour is totally unacceptable.

This cafe is located at prime location on Mall road. Good place for quick bites, fast service and very hospitable staff.

Actually I love to see sunset from this place. Ya the coffee is good but still the sunset is best. If you are there eyou must see a sunset from here.

Genuine Review: This is definitely a super hyped cafe. The service is extremely slow and the basics are missing in the cafe. Tissues are missing on the table, cutlery provided is not as per the order size.

Food Quality: Very Oakish type

Fresh lime and lime related option is bad (Bitter) and they say: Bhaiya ismein toh ab kya karein. - "Now what can we do, limes are like this only. " Order wait time - More than 1 hour, that too when there are very less or no customers.

Nice and cozy place located in mall road. Highly recommended it for quick bites. Prices are neither cheap nor costly. Must try atleast once when you are in Shimla.

Ordered drinks but then couldn’t get anyone’s attention to order food. Service was really disorganized and the washroom was disgusting. There were loads of guys working there but nobody seemed to be actually serving customers. We walked out and went next door to hide out cafe - super fast service and great coffee. Go there instead.

This was the worst dining experience we had in Shimla during our six day visit. Wake and Bake came recommended to us. The coffee was very good, but overall it was a disappointing dining experience. The service was very slow, and the food was bland, and far too expensive for what was served. They had the lowest quality food we had in Shimla, and by far the worst service.

I had lemongrass chicken and my partner had grilled vegetables. The food had little flavor and took over an hour for our food to reach our table. I don’t normally leave reviews for restaurants, but Wake and Bake was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn my fellow travelers.

Nice location. Nice ambience. Nice food quality and decent pricing too. But the service was a bit slow despite less rush that could be improved. The stairway to the cafe is a bit narrow too. Recommended to try at least once for anyone visiting shimla if they have time to eat and enjoy.

Nice building. The view from the third floor is the main reason to go. Though be prepared to crawl through a small attic door to reach it. Second floor windows overlook the square and is a great place to kill time. Food was good but nothing special. This place is a cafe and the drinks are really what you should focus on. I had a mocha and a chocolate, banana smoothie while people watching and trying to figure out my next plans. Great place for a slow morning.

Location is good which is bang opposite the town hall. Place is small with less seating options and is on 1st and 2nd floor. A narrow stairs takes you up there. Serving takes time. We ordered chocolate, almond crepe which was ok. We originally ordered waffle but was taking time so changed to crepe. It is a common Cafe house so expect only bakery items.

Good for a small crowd. Ambience is good as the place is clean and cosy. Cost wise it is slightly on higher side.

Some interesting dishes in the menu. Different taste. Nice ambiance and good view. A decent place overall.

Sometimes you feel so sad by the realisation that nothing lasts. I am one of the oldest customers of the cafe, i personally am all praises for this amazing place. The owner has always been very hospitable. I usually get time to enjoy the warmth of the cafe after 8 in the evening when I get free from office.
But, despite my admiration and regular visits to the place in order to have a coffee or tea every once in a while and have their delicious hummus and pita or the stupendously satisfying almond and broccoli soup, I've been recently remarked upon by one of the staff members that in order to be allowed to sit after 9 in the night, one has to order stuff which is more expensive than a mere cup of tea and for that matter, one has to ignore the fact that one doesn't want to dive into a main course at the particular time but just enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
Majority of the staff is wonderful though. There's a guy who's always wearing a chef's cap and will greet you amazingly and another guy who makes awesome tea for you and calls you dada, the owner's cool too.
P. S.: I'm just writing this review to bring forth things for the owner to see and make amends. And that's why I've changed my 5 star rating to a single star. I've done this before and will again because this cafe is synonymous with great vibes and radiates that cozy winter feeling which I'd always want preserved.

The food was absolutely delicious. If you're in Shimla, you must eat at Wake and Bake at least once.

Located on mall road just opposite municipal corporation building, the restaurant has a nice view of the bustling streets of shoppers and tourists. Beware if the bats while entering through the narrow staircase.
Coming to food, ordered garlic bread, banana chocolate waffle and caramel coffee. Really appreciate the gastronomy behind the food served. The only let down was coffee. Do visit here for a bite while roaming through the mall road.

What should I say about this, quality of food is just out of the world. There are going to be time when you will say "kya khau kya chodhu". Quality, ambience, aura of shimla, view, western food, friendly staff all at one place. I would suggest it if you are in shimla.

This place was on my wishlist as my favorite traveler Abhiandnow has been to this place. Nice place with pretty good staff. I wish it had more stuff for breakfast specially in veg.

Perfect place try some exotic cusines and had great ambience too. Place is a bit costly but worth it. Also it has a open area at the terrace which adds to delight.

Sat for almost 45 minutes after giving the order (penne white sauce) after 45 minutes we were told that we shall change our order.happened for the first time. Not at all commendable!

Worst waffle in my entire existence. I ask for toppings they gave me walnuts and almonds in different pouch so I suppose to sprinkle on the waffle on my own. And the funniest part about waffle is it looks more like pancake. So guys it's a advice please improve your cooking skills. I didn't want to post this but trust me I had worst experience with you guys.

Wake and bake cafe is located on mall road opposite shimla police station which is a heritage property. I have heard about this place from my friends who visited shimla few months back so i was sure that i will visit this place.

So i visited this place in the evening cozy cafe with rustic wall art and magical warm lights ambience of this place was so live and positive and happy music added extra charm to my experience.

We sat on first floor as they have roof top sitting options as well but that was already occupied we sat next to big yellow window where i can sit for hours and see mall road beautiful place. Courteous staff makes it more enhanced.

We ordered white sauce pasta, bangers and mash omelette and toast, garlic toasties with jasmine green tea and chocolate fudge cake.

Food was luscious, well decorated and scrumptious. Toasties were peppery and spicy perfect art.

We sat their for an hour and it was amazing, while leaving we thought to have look at roof top view trust me it was awful valley view, cool breeze and delightful food.
