Though at a height, its worth the view and service. Price is reasonable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Food is nice. Definately try it out

The stay was good with great views. I was travelling solo, and I didn’t face any problem. A speacial thanks to property manager Aprit who made sure I felt safe and comfortable.:)

It was a wonderful place to stay the host was very welcoming and the view from the hostel was the best thing ever. The service was decent enough the food was up to the mark.

Very friendly host and a great property for solo travellers. Waking up to their view is a nice experience. Have to park the vehicle and walk a bit to reach the hostel. You'll be able to find people to carry your bags till hostel.

Location wise good. Good views. Tasty food. And the bonfire was perfect. Warm hosts too.
Dorm rooms were a bit basic but suits the price we pay!

Had a good stay at Whoppers Tosh. Yash is a good host. Have an amazing 360 view of Tosh from terrace. Food is decent too.
Just a few suggestions to make it the place better: 1. Water bottle with hot water in room (private atleast) 2. Can invest in a cafe for a better vibe (instead of current kitchen system).

Rooms are neat and tidy. Host is highly responsive. Hostel is situated little high, take help if you have luggage. Wifi is on and off, would not recommend for workcation. Other than place is good with beautiful view.

The location of the place is very scenic. The rooms are clean. Facilities such are heaters and geysers, important in this very cold weather, are functional. The food here is pretty good.

The host, Yash, is pretty kind and helpful and has warm hospitality.

One of the best hostel in town recommended if you visit tosh and host Yash is really awesome person and overall amazing experience

Whooper's Hostel in Tosh is a great property. First of all it has a good access from the taxi stand. The rooms are cosy and food is good. Definitely visit this property for the splendid views.

Yash bhai and Manoj Bhai were very helpful.

Very comfy stay. Dorms are cozy and clean. And one just cant beat the view from up here. Chicken dinner was good, breakfast was okay.

This has got to be the best hostel in Tosh. The room was quite clean, and the staff- cooking as well as manager Yash were helpful and supportive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying here in Tosh.

Great vibe of the hostel. Manager is a polite guys and honest in his work. Kitchen is ample right now but could be better.

Great accommodation with clean dorms and good washrooms. Hot water is available. View is great. One star deducted for lack of punctuality in kitchen opening timings.

Great hostel stay with excellent vibe. They light a bonfire every night. Excellent view of the snow capped mountains from the hostel.

The view from the hostel is amazing. The manager and staff is very chill. The food is also nice. You can see stars and icy mountains in the evening from the roof and enjoy the bonfire.

If you are traveling and working, no wifi available in Tosh village and mobile network coverage is limited.

It’s not that good experience with this Whooper, as per prices not much facilities they hv provided
Basic room no charging point near the bed who on top, washroom was not cleaned
No hygiene
Food - they have in-house kitchen that too close by 9-9.30 and it’s ok with service

Staff and services was not good, not that friendly and supportive.

No drinking water facilities- they will ask you to fill at washroom tap. Or from Kitchen.

They should keep something to fill the water bottle.
Common room was ok, not much outside sitting,
They have sitting option in terrace to have bonfire.

This hostel is simply superb, with oh so great food, comfy chilling area and scenic views. I was lucky enough to witness my first ever snowfall here.

Had a great time in Whoopers Hostel. The manager Lavish was so helpful and the hospitality was excellent. The view from the hostel is awesome! Really enjoyed the stay.

Avoid if you are looking to WFH from Tosh, Jio data doesnt work that well here as well and theres no wifi. Manager Lovesh is a friendly, helpful guy that tried his best to accomodate our needs at all times. Tasty food made at the property's kitchen, location is good although prepare for a bit of a mini trek to reach it. Other than that, very disappointed with half baked facilities here such as damaged heaters (esp during a harsh winter), room lacks a cupboard, no water filter at property for hot water, also our room was quite dingy.

Lavish bhai is amazing. He is a very good host and also very friendly. The hostel is also very good. Clean and all facilities are available. Hot water, hearter is available 24 x 7. Many games to play and an amazing view all day long.

We stayed in multiple hostels throughout Himachal out of which this was our worst experience. There were 11 cobwebs all around the room. We asked the manager to get rid of them to which he lied saying he too is a guest and not the manager. He and another person were managing the property and none of them were ready to clean or take ownership for anything. So we had to either deal with it or clean ourselves! We had a booking for 2 days and after such a bad experience the first night we decided to immediately leave the next morning itself and when they got to know about us finding another booking, they came to us saying we’ll get the room cleaned and the guy said 'I am the manager. I lied about not being one the other night because I wanted to observe guests'. Either the hostel should be shut or the property managers should be replaced since we have had an amazing experience staying in Whoopers Jibhi. Would not recommend anyone to visit this place since we desperately checked out after the first night.

Nice Cozy place to stay. No "illegal" stuff inside the rooms, but there is a rooftop. Very pretty views. You can't expect 24 hours availablity of hot water and electricity in a place like Tosh, but the manager did his best to make it available to us. Speaking of the manager, really hot guy, absolute 10? Totally worth the stay!

Been travelling in Himachal for around 20 days and living in various properties of nomads and whoopers. This is where you want to be.

I had a great experience at this place. The facilities are good; clean & comfy beds, neat bathrooms and a warm common room to chill. The view from the hostel is soothing and peaceful. The hosts Ajay and Lavish are cool and generous it was great meeting them. This is a must-visit location.

It's a pretty cool property with amazing view and of course pocket-friendly! Ajay was the manager when I visited Whoopers, he was quite hospitable, kind and chill. He made sure if we needed anything. And.they had good sitting area, comfy beds and good food! A must visit property.

The was nice and clean. It had good service and the manager also responded very well to every request and was polite as well. It was overall a great experience staying there.

Nice and cozy place to stay. Staff was really friendly specially that guy Dheeraj, easily became a good friend, very genuine guy. Hopefully he gets a girlfriend soon.

Rooms are neat and clean. Staffs are very polite and specially Dheeraj (Manager) is good human being. The Hostel premises is at quite location, go for it, you will enjoy it.

Stayed here for 2 days. The location is pretty good with amazing views on all sides, especially from the terrace.

Food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.

The hospitality of the staff and the manager Dheeraj was excellent. They go above and beyond to make sure that the guests have a memorable and comfortable stay.

On one of these nights the manager also organised a bonfire on the terrace which turned out to be a hit since it was a full moon night.

Would definitely recommend this place for travellers of all ages and genders. No second thoughts!

Place is best and awesome. Communication with Dheeraj manager of this property was smooth. He made sure to create best environment for this place. However I would like to urge to management to provide few more utilities items like microwave, few more games in playing area. Fix electricity points in dorm 1. It's not working when light's are off.
Rest keeping this aside place has best point of view from balcony.

Highly recommended place for the stay. Peaceful, amazing & just a mind blowing place & the way its managed by (Dheeraj) is just superb. Dheeraj is really a plus point & 2.5 stars just because of him to the whoopers hostel (tosh)
